Shoot, the very first thing I just did with Perky Cubes as a fresh level 1 was take her into the MSR running on Indom and shoot her straight up to level 22.😁 I was gonna move my farmer on my alt account from Everlasting to Indom to level her, but my farmer is still a bit of a baby, so I think those 22 levels in the MSR were probably faster for me to gain than by farming. xD They were running another one right after as well, so had I wanted to stay, I could have probably gotten to 30ish.

What do you mean by this game? Homecoming's particular server group? Because, from my understanding, there are other private server groups running CoH where you can roll yourself an instant 50. Homecoming isn't the only server for CoH, so it's a bit misleading to just say "this game."

Here's some of the shots I nabbed from today's raid: We were all melee and this group did not really stand still much today, so I had a hard time trying to make sure I was capturing everybody! lol

It is your opinion, but you opted to post it in a public forum where we are allowed to respond and call you out on it. Two of the three characters you chose to get offended about weren't even offensive! Cali Wildfire is about PREVENTING wildfires and Moose Knuckle is not a derogatory term, let alone a term for genitalia. These posts of yours here kind of make you come off as one of those people who goes around looking for things to be offended by. I get that not everyone will like this type of humor, but don't go making mountains out of molehills regarding things that weren't really even offensive to begin with.

If someone's intent is not to be offensive, which @The_Warpact doesn't strike me as someone who is intentionally trying to be offensive, then it's ok to find humor in some of these. Though I will agree that the Kung Flu one was probably a bit too far. There is a reason that shows like South Park are successful; it is okay to have a bit of a darker sense of humor. Humor is an okay and acceptable coping mechanism, so long as you are not going out of your way to hurt people. And their Cali Wildfire character is actually an amusing concept--I live in the state, in areas that get pummeled with wildfires yearly (just had one maybe a couple of miles or so behind my house), and the firefighters do occasionally start fires to clear out areas that might get hit (i.e. controlled burns). That said, it is okay if that type of humor is not your thing, also. But if it's not actively hurting anyone, why complain? For some of us, these characters bring us joy. Our funny characters are not, necessarily, any worse than the people making characters that are directly ripping off copyrighted characters (i.e. one of the first characters I saw on my return to HC was someone named Vegeta with the exact look copied).

I tend to have a darker sense of humor, so these types of characters tend to make me chuckle. I once had a sonic something... blaster maybe... that was named Subtle Vibrator. I currently have Sara Falin--yes, she's a bit of a parody of the real Sara Palin. She's a demon/cold MM who got sick of nobody taking her seriously and twisted her religious ways a bit to start summoning demons. She'll show the US who's a hero now! And her cold powers come from living in icy, snowy Alaska; she wields her state's snow to buff her allies and impair her foes. I've seen a couple of Donald Trump parodies running around that have made me giggle. I have a stone/bio brute who is based on a dung beetle--yep, her "stone" powers and "bio" armor are feces. I have a water blast mosquito character whose water is colored to be blood, and a water blast hound whose water blasts are her slobber. My warshade is a bit of a tribute to Elvira (people love Elfvira whenever I bring her out). I have an ice/bio stalker named Frozen Discharge. As a female player, yes some of my characters even run around scantily clad because I like being able to dress them in a way that I can't and that feels fitting for their character. I love a good joke character, even those based more on dark humor, especially if they're done in a manner that clearly shows they're meant to be light-hearted fun and not intentionally offensive. Btw, I live in southern California and love your Cali Wildfire toon!

Honestly, just use the CoH Modder application from @The Philotic Knight to download vidiotmaps. It makes it so much easier than trying to do it the other way. And if you're using the new HC launcher, make sure it goes into those folders and not the tequila ones (saying that because that's where I messed it up).

Thank you! That would explain it; I was trying to put the maps stuff in the Tequila install folder and not the HC one. I knew I was missing something simple and kinda stupid. Thank you @WanderingAries for pointing that out as well. Thought it weird I didn't see the HC launcher in my CoH folder; didn't realize I put it somewhere different. Thank you both again!

So, I know much of this modding stuff kind of eludes me, but I swear I have followed the directions from the front page, and then from @The Philotic Knight's CoH Modder thingy, and it still doesn't seem like this thing is loading properly (I don't feel like I'm seeing anything extra on my mini-maps in game; I was hoping to use VidiotMaps to help me get the exploration badges to earn the LRTP). This is where I have it installed: I'm not sure if I need to send it to a different folder or what. I am currently using the HC launcher, so idk if that's it... Any help for my dumbass would be appreciated. 🙂

My kid character, Apocawolf--Beast/Thermal MM. She's the younger sister to my demons/storm MM, Apocalyptica. Her being a kid is why her "secret identity" is a bit childish sounding and all her pets have names that a kid would think sound scary (Wolves: Scary, Meanie, Fright; Lionesses: Beast, Demon; Dire Wolf: Hellhound).

In the same vein: definitely and defiantly are not the same and are not interchangeable. Along with loose/lose, your/you're, they're/their/there, etc.

Apologies if this was mentioned already, but when respeccing my elec/elec blaster I came across a couple of typos in the info text for the Dynamo power: " While active, you to regenerate health and recover endurance very quickly. Overflow energy generated by this power can damages all nearby foes. Damage: Minor(DoT), Recharge: Moderate" I bolded the typos.

Idk.... I actually love Martial Assault as is. I love flinging shuriken about and kicking my enemies; it's different from the other Martial/ninja-y sets and I'm ok with that. I see envenomed blades as coating the edges (i.e. blades) of my shuriken. Personally, I don't feel the need to sub-in/add a sword.

Actually, I had this happen in an ITF multiple times on my fire/dark controller well before Issue 27 was released. It was getting to the point that my group was calling me Jesus, lol. I have no idea what was causing it, and how to duplicate it, so I wasn't sure whether to come to the forums about it because I had never had that happen before.

@TraumaTrain Scratch what I originally said; I won't be able to make it tomorrow. We're having family come over and decorating for Christmas so I'll be busy all day.

EEEEEEE!! Omg you have no idea how excited I am to see Jet Jaguar roll across this thread!! I was a huge Godzilla nerd as a kid and this movie was one of the few I owned on VHS. Love your interpretation of Jet Jag-u-ar (always got a kick of how they say it in the movie; I can't say his name any other way, lol). 😄
