  1. You can run any regular story arcs through Ouroboros, so the only content you can outlevel is the one-off missions from contacts and lower-level tip missions. Speaking of regular story arcs, Igneous also appear in one of Julius the Troll's missions. And one of Kalshak's missions but I think that one is mostly CoT with a few Igneous thrown in. You don't have to have bosses set to "yes" either; if your team size is big enough you will still have bosses spawn, but they will be downgraded to lieutenants. They still count for badges.
  2. So I've finally made some actual progress on my villain base. It is inside a volcano under the ruins of an ancient temple, and I'm going to try to cram in as many supervillain cliches as I possibly can. The view from the entrance: The residual magical energies from the temple allow us to warp through space. Ceiling still under construction. The tunnel leading to the workshop. I still need to dress this up a bit. The vault. The quartermaster, guarding the money. We really need bags with dollar signs on them in the editor. Arcane crafting space, for all your magic potion-making needs. The entrance to the Library of Forbidden Lore. The inside of the library, with comfy chairs by the fire.
  3. You need to do every story arc in Atlas Park. The in-game badge description tells you that. I just looked up which contacts were in Atlas Park. Yes, you need to do one of them through flashback, although you'd probably have to flashback anyway unless you turn XP off because you level so fast at low levels.
  4. My most hated enemy group is the freaking Longbow, because they are SO BORING and they are so overused redside. At lower levels you at least get the occasional Legacy Chain or Wyvern mission to mix things up, but after 30 it's one sea of red and white generic do-gooders after another. I actually love Malta because they make good villains. There's none of this "you've defeated the AV! Yay, the villain group is done forever! Oh, we want to use that group some more, looks like the AV has escaped from the zig" nonsense. Their "AVs" are old men sitting around a conference table who aren't going to fight you because they're not stupid (except when they started sending their AVs to fight you, because CoX writing is about as consistent as comic book writing). They get to be a constant threat, from a story perspective. And really, they're not that hard. Even before sappers got nerfed multiple times, they were only "hard" in the sense that a fire or invul tank couldn't just herd up a whole room of them without breaking a sweat; if you were a squishy back then, everything at those levels could kill you pretty fast anyway so Malta were no different. Now that everybody builds for defense, they're kind of a joke, since they have none of the "LoL at your defense" abilities that many of the newer enemy groups do.
  5. I went to Paragonwiki and followed the introduction chain. I'm pretty sure those are all of them.
  6. Speaking of decals, I'd like to be able to remove the SG emblem from the SG items. Or the option to set your SG emblem to "none," which would accomplish the same thing.
  7. Guys guys guys! If you type "lava" into the search box, there are a few giant rock items that don't seem to be in any of the tabs. Two of said items have rivers of lava in them. It's not the big lava pool we want, and they don't match any of the other rock items, but it's REAL LAVA. (They're not the only items that pop up in the search field but aren't in the tabs; if you type in "council" there are some nice rocks and stalagmites that match the "cave" pieces pretty well.)
  8. Attach them all to the floor, then hold down the shift key to move your upper stairs up. Hold down ctrl to move them around at their new elevation.
  9. You need Matthew Habashy, Sondra Costel, Officer Fields, Aaron Thiery, and all three of Twinshot's arcs.
  10. So the problem with building on top of the base is that there is nothing to keep people from going outside the base. And presumably falling forever, and seeing the mess you've made of the sides on the way down. You can create an invisible wall with the backs of the surface plates, but it's invisible, and apparently you can see the visible side if you zoom out. So I would like the blue forcefields that wall off the redside zones and some of the outdoor mission maps. Ideally I'd like them to be tintable and come in various sizes, since I know people will find lots of creative uses for them, but I'd settle for big and blue. I would also like the floor and ceiling trim pieces as individual items, so we can place them where we want them and they don't disappear if you place an item there. I'd also like the old pillar bases as individual items. Also +a million to the need for lava. I made both a hero and villain sg before I knew SGs were no longer alignment-restricted, and what self-respecting villain group doesn't have a volcano lair? (Well mine doesn't, because I am a very slow builder, but we will someday, and I would like real lava.) And I need a surfboard and a microwave and tacos, for reasons.
  11. If you're going vigilante for badges anyway, you might as well do the Virgil Tarikoss and Operative Renault SFs, they have missions with lots of Longbow in them. The LRSF is nearly all Longbow, and more badges.
  12. Can attest to the awesomeness of DM/SD, although holy crapsnacks is it slow going at the earlier levels.
  13. A bit of a derail, but "targetcustomnext" also works for friendlies and objects. So you can use it to find blinkies or hostages on those giant outdoor maps. The downside is that it will also target blinkies you've already clicked.
  14. People on live managed to get a nice approximation by using the Miyuki gravel floor, tinted red, and red lighting, with bonfires sunk into the floor. Now that we have the fire effects and lava rocks, you could probably make it look even better. The problem with using tinted muddy water is that it's still water. Which means it's translucent, and you get the splash effects of water when you jump into it rather than the "ow ow it burns" effect of lava.
  15. Coldblooded defeat badge is listed twice, once under general defeats and once under Zone events. (Do the relevant hordelings spawn in heroside missions now? Or is it just the minions?)
  16. The description for Weed Whacker states "Defeat 50 Circle of Thorns Succubi or Hellfrosts during Valentine's Event missions." The Valentine's event is the only way heroes can get the badge, as those bosses don't show up anywhere else on blueside, but villains, rogues, and vigilantes can get it in the Rogue Isles or in redside missions.
  17. Yep, I have Magistrate on a primal, as well as the badges for the Warden, Power, and Crusader storylines. I think they don't give a "badge earned" pop-up though; check your most recent badges and it might be there.
  18. It's under Achievements, but yes, it's a defeat badge in the game.
  19. The co-op TF badges (ITF, LGTF, Apex, and Tin Mage) are listed twice, once under Task Forces and once under Strike Forces. It's the same badge for both heroes and villains.
  20. She's not required to complete the mission. She's in the room the boss isn't in, up on the balcony.
  21. They're both in Heather Townshend's arc. Madame Bellerose is in the Tsoo mission. Saving her is the "???" objective.
  22. Fire/Elec Blaster again, with Lightning Field now, a damage proc in all my ST attacks, and using Inferno when it's up, 3 min, 2 seconds, for 338 DPS. Which is better, but still less than I'd like. I could get that down a bit if I sorted my attack chain out properly. This is without the Assault Hybrid.
  23. I just got it through Ouroboros. It's under the level 50 missions. I've done all the story arcs in Praetoria, including First Ward and Night Ward. (It wouldn't let me enter the Rogue Isles as a hero, btw; I just got zapped to Atlas.)
  24. The Blindsider and Technophobe defeat badges are listed twice; once under General Enemies and once under Praetorian Enemies.
  25. It's the inactive generator energy curtain, flipped upside down and spun 45 degrees. The stairs themselves are also upside-down energy curtains.
