I have not noticed this.  But most of my groups are with my friends so we just make fun of them if they die.

It would feel like when subscription games go 'free' to play and they restrict access to things that you used to have unless you 'pay' for it.  Players dont like having things taken away.  I know ive quit at least 3 games that have done this.

 

Not saying that this is the exact same but it will feel very similar.  Implement it with adding new stuff,  not by taking anything away.

Theres several reasons why people ask for and offer builds.  We cant assume that everyone asks for a build out of laziness.  Theres plenty of forum for everyone.  If you are feeling the forum is cluttered then mark it as read and ignore it.

[Skipping launcher on startup]

U mean the user name and password entry?  You skip it by entering your user name and password.

 

The launcher checks for updates before running the game,  probably dont want to skip that.

 

Remember username is the only option.  You could maybe macro your password into a macro keyboard.  The login server is verifying user name and password, not letting someone skip based off IP address.  Some hacker out there would probably love it if our login was like that though.

Back in the day you could have multiples of this power up at the same time.  I believe they had a faster rate of fire as well.  Players would have 2-3 active all the time providing a significant amount of damage.  Having a single sentinel and slower attack speed was the fix.

 

Adding it to the pet window should work.  Omega Maneuver on my crab spider is untargetable but shows up in the pet window just fine.  Clicking it targets for a split second and then drops.  No other summons block their power from being reused that im aware of and at least the sentinel is replaced.  My patron summon just fails and the duration isnt refreshed and the first expires a few seconds later.

Id have to go in the mission again but last time it looked like the seed and avatar were 3d models moving around but the tentacles appeared to be 2d animated on the background.

 

But i doubt anyone will be getting up close without GM commands.  Ive gone all over that map and while the terrain is optional,  the water and force field are solid.  Without the discovery of some new clipping bug it wont be happening.

Interesting because ive seen people say they have no vine counter but ive never not had the vine counter.  I dont know if its an ingame setting or computer spec or something else entirely,  but there is something that either fixes or breaks it.

Of course city of heroes 2 would have more crime.  Can you imagine a game where you create a hero and then walk the peaceful streets all day hoping a cat will get stuck in a tree just to break the silence and boredom?

At best id call it working as designed but not as intended.  I doubt they meant for a power to be automatically useless because of an inherent ability.

Farming was always part of the game.  There just wasnt a central location to point the finger at.  I mostly dont farm but i occasionally hit up a farm in AE.  My only suggestion if your chat is too cluttered is to move some channels to another tab or consider a lower population server.

Many temp powers are pulled straight from powersets.  I dont see why a set cant be made from temps.  None of them are overpowered and could be tuned if they were.  This is also similar to the powerset recycling and i dont recall it having such a cold reception.

[Sentinels, another possibility]

All of my characters are sub optimal and i bring to the team getting bugged in the stunned state on a keyes avoid the green stuff run.  I could still use my powers but i was stuck at disoriented speed.  Good times when im the tank =D

Your math would be correct if the power had 0% recharge.  But since the power takes 180 seconds to recharge on an ability with a recharge of 180 seconds you get 180÷180=1.  In other words,  the power has 100% recharge to begin with 100%=1.

 

So you arent going from 0% to 35% recharge,  you are going from 100% to 135% recharge and then i would refer you back to @Luminara's post where the math is correct.  Otherwise hasten (70%) and a single SO should put you over 100% recharge and the abilities would never recharge and always be ready to use.

I was suprised when i logged in on the laptop and my macros were there.  Ive heard that even when you delete them, they are still stored server side and show back up when u respec.  But i cant verify that since i hate having to respec and only have macros on a few characters.

It stacks alot higher then 133.  I think its 10,000

I believe the game checks your badges every 8ish seconds and rewards you accordingly.  If you arent missing a badge then it should be in your power list.

[Remove Costume Piece Reset]

It remembers your detail selections when you click back.  I dont want everything getting changed as i click back and forth through the different options.

[Slot enhancements at any level]

I read the title and clicked in fully expecting to disagree thinking this was just a 'i want to use everything at lvl 1' and thats not what happened.

 

Im ok with this as long as its something you have to enable so players who dont want it wont accidently slot something when it cant be used.  And maybe light up the slots yellow instead of green for people that have enabled it.
