So, I’ve always been fond of Electric powered heroes in comics/any medium really. I enjoy the aesthetics and clever ways the powers can be used. Most recently, I’ve been watching Pokémon (haha) with my oldest and he, of course, loves Pikachu. I guess the love for electric powers runs in the family! Anyways, I’d love to roll an electricity powered hero on Homecoming, and I’d love some inspiration! Do you have an Electric Armor Tanker or Brute that you love? How are the Electric powered sets on Controllers/Dominators? I hear Elec/Elec Sentinels are the business. Also, your hero does NEED to be fully Elec/Elec. I recently teamed with an Elec Affinity/Water Blast Defender that was all kinds of awesome. I’d love to just hear what Electric powered sets really give you that power fantasy!

Do you think Rad Armor or Regen would pair better with it? Energy Aura seems solid as well.

Very helpful, I appreciate it. Started mine and just going by the seat of my pants. Only lv. 14, but man does this combo have STYLE points. I have ninja run and the electrical elemental shield, and it is sweet to see this giant fire energy sword come out when you click on any of the fire sword powers.

Bio was the other option I was looking at! I could see Water Blast bringing some utility to Bio and Bio bringing the extra damage to Water. Sounds pretty synergistic.

I’m not sure about single sets, but I could think of some combos I think would be optimal on a Brute. Savage Melee pairs up really nicely with either Bio Armor or Elec Armor on a Brute. The damage aura DOTS they bring, the DOTS Savage Melee brings… all ramped up by fury. It’s very nice.

I haven’t done anything crazy with a Sent, but I do love my Elec/Elec/Elec. Truly feels like a Tank Mage. I’ve been contemplating a Water Blast Sentinel. Perhaps Water/Rad or Water/Regen.

I’ve been trying to decide what primary to pair with Fiery Melee, as I haven’t used it since it’s update! Shield seems like it could be a really cool fit, albeit an endurance hog 😂 Does anyone have experience with this combo and a build that they run? Would love to use one as a base. Seems like it could be pretty solid!

Random: as a sword guy, I’m trying to find an aesthetic axe that looks and “feels” right to me. What is your favorite Axe option in character creator? So far, I think the ones that are CLOSEST to what I want are either Impervium Axe or Celestial Axe.

This is SWEET to see. I’ve been looking at Water/Time myself. Need to build one and give it a shot.

Piggy backing off this: I have an Elec/DM Tanker I’m currently working on. I’m thinking of picking up Char, since it’ll allow me to slot the Entomb +Absorb proc. Just a nice little extra mitigation. After that though… not sure how to slot it/if it’s worth fully procing out or putting slots in. Anyone have an example of how they slot it out? I could always go Focus Accuracy as well, but I’m already picking up tactics.

I love your thought process behind this build. I’m running something similar: Elec/Dark Melee. Gives up some of the damage and proc potential you have with Fiery. It does pick up a heal and some more end recovery, so it feels like it can go non stop. Also, Elec Armor makes leveling a breeze. Only lv. 40 right now, but the ride has been very smooth. Honestly surprised I don’t see more of either of these combos!

@InvaderStych and I both rock a Psi/Shield Scrapper. That combo is just the rule of cool 😎

Probably my top choice as well. Katana and any shield + single handed weapon is pretty cool also. Dark Melee Soul Noir has a different animation as well, but I wouldn’t classify it as “cool.”

It is just very interesting to me because it seems like it allows you to pretty much match the damage, or at least come close to it, of the Uber stacked recharge builds for DB… but you don’t have to give up other areas by trying to hit that crazy level or recharge. Cool option!

Looks like BF-Ablating-RoF-Sweeping? Can you get enough recharge running Bio Armor to do that, or is it just that RoF kind of just slots in perfectly?

This was amazing, thanks so much Kensai. I was playing around with the character creator… man do the PB moves look like they HIT hard at least 😂 haha some nice crunch to him. Sad to hear they underperform compared to some AT’s endgame, but I do like how an All Human PB is kind of a “Jack of all trades.”

Ok, so I’ve always been a sword guy over an Axe or Hammer. That being said, I’ve seen so many threads on how much fun/solid the new Battle Axe is, so I have to give it a whirl. Tell me about your Battle Axe experience! What do you like about it? Are there any specific secondaries you’d suggest to pair with it? I was THINKING something that helps with endurance, like Bio Armor, Rad Armor or Energy Aura. On the flip side, BA/Shield probably looks super epic. I could see it being a huge endurance hog though.
