+1 to both of these as well. Both Lightning Rod and Foot Stomp feel so good when combo’d with Shield Charge.

Not to mention, when you run with the fiery sword out it looks AWESOME!

Not bad at all. Honestly, it is a really TOUGH pairing on a Stalker. I just need to wrap my brain around some attack chains haha. I enjoy it’s style though and the thwack thwack thwack.

Hard to go wrong with shield! Shield Defense + Dark Melee has long been considered a great pairing on any AT, really. ToF was updated to an AOE, which is nice when proc’d out ( @SomeGuyhas a great set up for this on his scrapper). DM also brings a heal, which is something Shield Defense lacks. I personally had a Psi Melee/Shield Defense Scrapper that I love. I could see the pairing doing well on a tanker. Shield Charge + Mass Levivate = a lot of fun and baddies on their butts.

@Onlyasandwich @Spaghetti Betty You two are some of the best in the business! I love your builds. I have a Dark Armor/Staff Tanker that truly feels unkillable. The large AOE’s mixed with Dark Armor’s tool bag is just too much fun. I ran a Staff/Stone Stalker myself, for the same reasons Only noted! He is Dragoon themed. Seems awesome, but I have just been hard pushed to figured an optimal attack chain for him coming out of hide, as well as just generally.

Sword’n’board for the win. SomeGuy has a build floating around here somewhere that hits like a truck. Looks all kinds of awesome, although I do hope BS gets the Battle Axe treatment with some updates.

My first 50 coming back to HC was a Shield/Elec Melee Tanker. Still one of the most “fun per clicks” toon I’ve played in the game. Haven’t tried the heal procs though, I should look into that.

It’s a fun combo! Run with an energy shield and you have a full theme going =P between Shield Charge, Burst and Repulsing Torrent, you really can keep mobs on their butts.

Hey all! Looking to run my first Dom. I feel like Elec/Dark could be a pretty cool combo. Has anyone ran it before? I’d love any insights you might have. If you have a sample build, all the better! Appreciate it!

Ok, so I always felt Kinetic Melee had a kind of “Magic” feel to it. Some nice KD’s with its burst, and some ranged moves to boot! I have a KM/Ice Armor Stalker that is a “Cryomancer” theme.

I’ve ran an Elec Armor/Dark Melee tanker, but have been really interested in running the inverse of the combo! Would love to see your builds to use as a base!

Ooooooooh I was only looking at Mu and totally missed Elec Mastery! That fits perfect.

I wish Sentinel Mu Mastery got the charged shield or whatever 😂 lightning fences is nice though.
