For an All Human build, would you recommend a WS or a PB?

Poison/Fire/Psi is so original! I hear that Ill/Cold and Ill/Dark Controllers can do obscene things.

Hi heroes! I thought this would be fun. I know we’re often looking to min/max our heroes/villians (I’m guilty of this). Outside of that though, what is your most FUN character you’ve made? They one you can come back to and always know it’s going to be a good time. I feel like a lot of things can impact the “fun” of a character for you. Gameplay/playstyle, background story you’ve created, nostalgia, etc. For me currently, my most “fun per click” hero has to be Storm Aegis, my Shield/Elec Tanker. I know some people will say it’s a more optimal pairing on a Stalker, but it just FEELS like a Tanker combo to me. Between Lightning Rod and Shield Charge, I feel like my team always knows where to follow when I’m lead tanking with Storm. His ST is nothing to write home about, and he isn’t a min/max combo, but I feel like there is very little in the game he can’t do. Plus, you just feel like a true God fighting every mob 😂 I used @Infinitum’s build as a base and made some slight adjustments with input from @Hyperstrike. He is the Hero I always come back to. How about you all? I’d love to hear some of your favorites, regardless of archetype!

Yeah absolutely. I’ve followed @Sir Myshkin’s Shield/KM with great interest 😂 One of the pluses I could see for Elec Armor is not having to worry about endurance at all! Haha always a nice thing.

I’m a KM fan. Love my KM/Ice Stalker. I’ve always been interested in KM on a Tanker for the very reason you called out: Repulsing Torrent taunt. I’ve looked at Shield to stack the -Dmg, but Elec Armor seems like a really great, thematic pairing as well.

Gulb, you mind copy and pasting the build out for us mac people who can’t get Mids to work? So sorry dude.

I hear water blast pairs very well on with FF. Anyone play that combo before? Slightly off topic, but how does FF transfer over to Corruptor’s? With Powerboosted FF’s, is that enough? Or do you need the crazy Defender modifiers?

Good day heroes! @BuiltDifferent5's thread got me interested in running another Stalker. I only have one I play a lot, and I LOVE them (KM/Ice), so I figure I might just really like the rouge like gameplay of the Stalker. Anyways, reading through all the Staff Fighting stuff made me see a potential synergy between Staff and Stone Armor. Stone is the newer Stalker set, but seems really sturdy. Staff picks up a hard hitting attack and could make good use of the Brimstone procs. Staff will also pump up defenses and resists of Stone, which is an added bonus. On the flip side, Elec/Shield Stalker seems to be a universal favorite out there. My FIRST 50 when I returned to HC was a Shield/Elec Tanker. Some of the most "fun per click" I've had in the game. That being said, I couldn't tell you how many times people told me to re-roll it on a Stalker since LR and SC don't break hide 😂 That being said, if I've played the set on a Tanker, would you say it's worth re-rolling on a Stalker? Both of these sets seem to do REALLY good AOE for a Stalker, and have good ST as well. I'm all ears on suggestions/points I may have missed! Edit: I actually made a little vote thing on Reddit. Nifty!

I was looking for a Staff/Stone build, but couldn’t find one anywhere. I think there is good synergy there, and it’d be a unique combo. I know @InvaderStych had a good Stone Armor Stalker template around here somewhere.

Necro here, but I’m interested in this combo as well. Seems to pair nicely. Staff does decent on a Stalker, brimstone can help its damage. Sky Splitter can help pump up resists and Guarded will keep some defense topped off. This combo would be a tanky beast with some nice damage.

Water/FF on either a Corruptor or Defender seems like a BLAST. I might have to mess around with that. Power Boosted FF’s I hear are crazy for the HM stuff. Water provides some nice safety.

I have a DA/Staff Tanker, but hear that Staff is great on Stalkers for the reasons you stated. I’d probably lean Bio Armor just to go for even more damage. Staff/Elec sounds cool though. I think someone had a thread where it showed how all the secondaries looked fully built out on Stalkers? Not sure where it is.

I could totally see one Guyver having a giant blade haha. Which sword do you use?

Great breakdown! Any specific secondaries you feel pair really well with Force Field?

I hear Staff is pretty amazing on Stalkers. I’ve only ran it on a Tanker myself.

Thanks for doing the work again Ston! Do you feel this is representative of how the blast sets perform on Def/Cors as well? Or do you think Cors might adjust due to Scourge?

I think you can only double stack Rage and it will always crash.

Concept wise, FF/Storm seems really. Cool. My only hesitation was FF didn’t seem to have many tools to keep baddies IN Storm Cell compared to some other sets. Top tier for keeping your team alive though.

How are you liking the Storm/Dark Cor? Seems like an active set! You find it really end intensive?

True. I guess one of the big sells on Sents is being able to drop your T9 very frequently.

Idk if it’d be a great synergy, but I was thinking of maybe pairing it with Time. Time isn’t super clicky, and it has some slows to keep the baddies in Storms damage. Dark Miasma sticks out to me as well, but I feel like it might just be a TON of set up for every fight 😂

True, leaning into the sapping may be pointless. What Sent secondaries bring the best end recovery mixed with toughness? Elec Armor is probably up there. Others are probably Rad Armor, Bio Armor and maybe Regen or Energy Aura?
