Great breakdown! Any specific secondaries you feel pair really well with Force Field?

I hear Staff is pretty amazing on Stalkers. I’ve only ran it on a Tanker myself.

On paper, this combo seems silly strong!

Thanks for doing the work again Ston! Do you feel this is representative of how the blast sets perform on Def/Cors as well? Or do you think Cors might adjust due to Scourge?

I think you can only double stack Rage and it will always crash.

Concept wise, FF/Storm seems really. Cool. My only hesitation was FF didn’t seem to have many tools to keep baddies IN Storm Cell compared to some other sets. Top tier for keeping your team alive though.

How are you liking the Storm/Dark Cor? Seems like an active set! You find it really end intensive?

True. I guess one of the big sells on Sents is being able to drop your T9 very frequently.

Idk if it’d be a great synergy, but I was thinking of maybe pairing it with Time. Time isn’t super clicky, and it has some slows to keep the baddies in Storms damage. Dark Miasma sticks out to me as well, but I feel like it might just be a TON of set up for every fight 😂

True, leaning into the sapping may be pointless. What Sent secondaries bring the best end recovery mixed with toughness? Elec Armor is probably up there. Others are probably Rad Armor, Bio Armor and maybe Regen or Energy Aura?

Definitely on a Def or Corruptor! I was meaning with Dark Armor on a Sent 😂 now I’m looking at a Storm/Dark Corruptor… lol

Storm did read end heavy to me as well. Could see any of the secondary sets with good end management tools going well. I think Storm/Dark could be cool aesthetically, but it’d be a masochist pairing 😂

I’ve ran a Water/Cold Corruptor, so I was thinking the Storm would pair nicely with Cold as well. I could see it pairing decently with Time as another option. 3. It seems like Storm Blast might pair well on a Sent. It needs to ramp up its damage, so having a sturdy secondary to keep you alive while it does that is nice. What about /Bio makes you want to do that pairing?

You know, I was looking at /Elec Armor for the sapping potential, but you are totally right about Energy Aura and Ice Armor as well!

So what you’re saying is we need to stack TA, Nature, Poison, Shield, Ice Armor and KM and see if we can just floor the enemies damage? 😂

Fair enough, and I get that! I’m sure there might be some minor change where you go THIS IS IT. I feel like this combo just misses a heal. Brings a ton to the table.

Interesting. So KM only does it’s -Dmg with Power Siphon up. Is that stipulation removed for KM on a Stalker since they don’t have Power Siphon and get build up instead? Also, how is that Shield/KM build coming along? Would love to see what you’ve cooked up 😂

This was EXTREMELY insightful, thanks for this. For Rad Armor and for Shield: what secondaries do you feel pair best with both? I was thinking maybe Katana or SS with Rad (perhaps DB since Rad can pump up the recharge?) . Maybe Dark Melee, Rad Melee or Kinetic Melee for Shield.

I don’t believe this is true. All KM attacks cause enemies to do -Dmg. At least that is the case on my KM/Ice Stalker. I made it for the very same reason Xandyr. I would summon @Sir Myshkin. He has theorized and awesome Shield/KM tank. On a Tanker, I’d probably go that route as you’ll be stacking -Dmg with KM and AAO, while also giving defense to your team. One thing to note: KM’s animations can be pretty funky with Shield. Everything is pretty much done with one hand, so just a warning that it looks a bit different from traditional KM attacks.

I never worked boggle into my Psi/Shield Scrapper build. Maybe I should give it a shot. How do you typically use it?

Love everyone’s opinions so far! Random one: I love Peacebringer’s melee attacks in human form. They just have great “feedback” on them. A lot of people have talked about Katana on a Scrapper. I’ve only ever ran it on a Tanker. What secondaries do y’all like pairing with it on a Scrapper?

Great call out! Ice Melee is just one of those sets that meshes perfectly on a Stalker AND with Shield.
