With Illusion, the Spectral Terror is your main control power (at least, that's how it seems to me). I always wanted to get into that set but never could... until I tried Ill/Dark. Holy hell is that combo amazing! I'm also used to playing brutes, so I tend to dislike feeling squishy. With /Dark defense & stealth powers and PA to draw aggro (plus an awesome heal power for emergencies), it's not a problem. I tried an Ill/Time before the Ill/Dark, but I ended up liking /Dark better.

I play brutes a lot more than tankers, but my Bio/Rad tanker is still a bunch of fun. I put the Avalanche "chance for knockdown" proc into one of the dmg auras, and the results are hilarious! Basic strategy for this tanker is pretty much just walk into a mob and attack the bosses. Everything else has usually melted by the time the bosses are down (there may be one or to Lts in some groups who are still just barely up).

I thought I might take a crack at this. All but one of my many, many characters are female, so I'm not as familiar with the male costume pieces, but this is what I came up with. Personally, I like the version with the Imperial Dynasty chest detail... but I couldn't get the tone of the red (or any color on this piece) to match any better than this. The costume file is for the version with the chest piece. You can just set it to "none" if you don't want it. I hope this helps! roninbarbarianchest.costume

I got this bug on an Apex with my main, who has T4 everything (including Alpha), so having a T4 Alpha won't prevent this bug.

Yeah, I think maybe a blapper is really what I want, since I tend to play in melee a lot already.

I'm determined to play one of each AT to 50, and blasters are the AT that I never really "got". They're just... squishy. I'm more used to armored ATs (Brutes are probably my favorite, although my ill/dark controller is pretty awesome, too). I know I probably need to do more with IOs, but I figured I'd ask here anyway: What's the sturdiest blaster combo? I'm looking for something solo-able (I tend to play at odd hours) that can take down x8 mobs by lvl 50 without guzzling insps all the time (a few would be okay, but half the tray... no). Needs to be reasonably good at surviving the whole way from 1 to 50. Thanks!

Thanks Glacier. That thread is a bit old, though (latter half of 2019), so I'm not sure it still works the same way.

Edge, you CAN change the skin color. Next to the regular colors is the "Skin Color" tab. IT can be a bit finicky to click on, though (try clicking on the color swatch or the words, that usually works best for me). Here's a picture to show you: The skin color palette is, unfortunately, not as diverse as the regular palette, but it offers some options, at least.

When is the Tuesday maintenance, exactly? And how do I get in touch with a GM? Are they even on during non-peak hours? What time would you recommend to do this?

Is the Paladin Construction event in Kings Row still happening? What event message do you get for it? I've been looking for it for the past couple months and haven't seen anything. Is this event even running on Homecoming servers? Does it just get wiped out too quickly? What's the deal?

A word of caution for ill/dark: You cannot use Superior Invisibility and Shadow Fall at the same time, but you CAN use Group Invisibility while Shadow Fall is running. ... I wasted a respec because of this mistake. Please learn from me!

It also seems to stop being on fire while I'm AFK, though. I left my badger in the fire one evening and the next morning she was just sitting there like a dumb*** while the fire was on the other side of the building.

Is there another location/mission/whatever for this? From what I've seen, the building is not always on fire and/or the fire is not always in the same place.

I second the recommendation for Illusion/Dark Controller.

Hello! I've messed around in Mids' a bit, but I haven't been able to get this to work, so I thought I'd ask you guys! I'm looking for an Ill/Rad or Ill/Dark build with preferably either Soul or Psionic epic pool (these restrictions are due to character theme). Inf is no object; go nuts! My preferences: Perma- or near Perma-PA Not squishy (decent def & res but doesn't have to be capped) Either Fly or Mystic Flight for a travel power before level 10 Not running out of end every 10 seconds. NOT dependent on incarnate powers for any of the above. If this is not feasible, please let me know. I'm always open to suggestions! Thank you so much! Stay awesome, CoXers!

To me, at least, a real number would look very geometric, probably using equilateral shapes (if possible) with distinct lines and borders whereas an imaginary number would have more curves and colors and blending together / fades.
