The renaming of summoned pets even extends to the energy fount that is summoned by the controller ATO proc. My newest controller is the Laird of Kinfyre, who just turned 50 today. His imps are Laphroaig, Glenfiddich, and Johnnie Walker, but the orb is Cutty-sark.

You can't get there from here. (places LRT won't go)

I usually use LFG to poof to Cimerora, which on many characters is where I go to log out. Not sure what day jobs it counts for if you poof to Cimerora and summon a base portal and log out in base there. -
Something I did not notice on Test, and not in fact until I got around to respeccing my Electric blaster on Live. Dynamo, the replacement sustain power for Force of Thunder, that was apparently hewn from the corpse of Lightning Field, the damage aura I never took and did not want, takes Accuracy enhancements. It takes Healing sets and enhancements. It does not take Accurate Healing sets. This is in sharp contrast to Force of Thunder, which did take them. I suspect this was an oversight,

The real question is how close the armor set gets you there under its own power. You can build up Regeneration the same way, and it will become fairly sturdy. I built a Regen brute for tanking just to see if it could be done. The real question is the spending differential, and how much making these survival builds affects other aspects of game play. I wouldn't recommend that you try to build a regen brute for tanking without a base full of enhancements and a roster ready to supply inf and merits.

This is a lot closer to my experience. The only real surprise is Electric faring so poorly. Then again it is an offense oriented set, probably better on a brute than a tanker, and it does well against foes that other sets struggle against. Endurance drain is not all that common in the grand scheme of things, but often catastrophic when it hits, the same deal as with toxic and psionic damage. But endurance drain as a player power targeted at mobs is pretty useless, because the way mobs get and use endurance is different. I very seldom take Leadership pool on a tanker; some of the sets with recovery powers may support it.

True, this. Willpower and Radiation benefit very noticeably from having it. The only armor sets that I'd consider Tough and Weave optional for are Stone and Bio. I would rank Radiation somewhat higher. Toxic damage tends to be rare but massive and unexpected, and Radiation handles it best. Radiation is not super strong versus anything out of the box, but can be built up to easily hit the cap for smashing/lethal on a tanker; its biggest hole is to Cold, the rarest kind, and its adequacy against Psionic and solid performance against Toxic more than make up. It isn't the absolute frequency of those types; it's that IME they are likeliest to catch you with your pants down.

I always pick lore pets for theme, and as such one of my spiritist characters ended up with Banished Pantheon. Which I now consider a mistake. If some kind of balance pass is done on Lore pets, it should include a size pass, and no Lore pet should be taller than a typical player character. The ubiquity of BP Lores is made more annoying by the fact that they're friggin' huge.

My suggestions would be to: - Get rid of the Shards path entirely. The shards are currently only used for Alpha components, all of which can be crafted by the Threads path at well. Offering the incarnate rewards for TF completion could also be gotten rid of; those things are treacherous, traps for the new 50, who may not be aware of how limited their usefulness is. If something like that is still offered, I'd just offer a reward of empyrean merits instead, with an empyrean bonus reward for the weekly strike force target. - Make the tokens more transferrable by allowing threads to be converted to empyrean merits at the established rate of 20:1, similar to the convertability of astral merits. This preserves the motivation to play characters with full t4 incarnates. The threads and other geemies that they drop can be converted into merits that can be passed to other characters. Right now the chief use of threads to them is to buy inspirations in Ouro.

Playing CoH again has revived my interest in the MMO genre enough that I reinstalled Age of Conan, which was the game that occupied my time most after CoH.

That would pose a similar issue. My understanding is that base storage is a subset of base building, which is one reason why you sometimes get a brief mapserver error when you add or remove things. You do at least have the vault. I only wish that the vault could store recipes as well as salvage. I use the vault to store lowbie white and yellow salvage for each of my characters, since that stuff has abiding uses when the comparable level 45-50 stuff does not.

In the spent years whose speech is dim, there used to be many more badges available for writing popular AE content. I got high enough on that ladder to claim the 'Bard' badge. My first inclination was to create: Later, the Bard badge became unavailable. Those who had it set kept displaying it, though. I didn't dare even look at the list on the character after that.

Heraclea has a bind she uses in connection with Soul Drain. It just says "Sooooouuul draaaaiiin!" You probably need to be fairly old to get the reference. -

Some do. Others don't. Exploration badges are generally safe. Accolades and similar badges that are different redside and blueside may change, and for some of those you get a second badge (e.g. Ex-Marshal) when your alignment changes.

Noticed a disturbing trend, max level characters so little characterized that they aren't showing a concept-enhancing badge or setting a title. The fact that the titles default to pitch black and have to be manually reset to something readable probably does not help. And characters that do have a badge set often just have it set to a 'brag' Master Of badge rather than something that enhances the character concept. Even if you aren't into writing or reading character bios, badges and titles can enhance your characters and help bring them to life. Here for example are a few of mine.

I enjoy base building, so when I started running out of space at my main TB super group I created a second. Different concept, and this one allows for male characters as well. Then I allied the two.
