  1. Sky blue is probably the best choice, in my opinion. Or at least what they call Sky blue in AE. It's a brighter, lighter blue than the one used for player names. So if you're looking for the difference you can see it, and if you're not it won't really affect you.
  2. Good point. If anyone knows how, it's them. That's a great explanation for why the players have to get the ritual from the Circle in OPs idea.
  3. Whoopsie. You did phrase it like it was an argument against the idea... but nearly everything you said supported it. Truly, you presented a ton of evidence. They don't care about the Pantheon... except for these times when they do... They aren't afraid to be sacrificed... but they were more susceptible to Mot and had to fight back or cower... They don't have a duty to oppose the Pantheon... they just agreed to once because they were the only ones who could. Yeah. Right. Sure. Like a big giant zombie here to destroy the world. Great point.
  4. That's a pretty good idea to liven up an old zone. And as @Rudrapointed out, the background story you proposed and the inclusion of the Circle of Thorns makes a lot of sense given current game lore.
  5. Fun question. Forager is heavily inspired by Alonso from Training Day. My first choice would have neen Tom Sizemore RIP Thomas Haden Church's character on Tires reminds me a lot of Forager now though. This is assuming we can't get Denzel.
  6. Careful. If you're too moderate and reasonable, they'll take away your forum posting license. @baster this thread is a bit like someone drowning in the kiddie pool and arguing with the people telling him to stand up. Replacing the endurance bar with some kind of super meter mechanic.just sort of moves around your problem. The people who can't figure out endurance won't figure out Other Endurance. The players who did figure it out will just figure out perma-Basterbuff. The game does not do a great job of teaching you how it works. Also, the playerbase here is generally so far removed from the new player's perspective that they sometimes struggle with understanding it. But tere is a lot of good advice in this thread if you can filter out the "go play somewhere else" and "git gud n00b" replies. You wanted endurance to not be an issue? Poof. It's not.
  7. Don't forget to pack a spare Essence of Earth... just in case.
  8. Holy crap. You're a monster!
  9. The content doesn't tell me what you disagree with, or why... But ok. Nevermind.
  10. People are unimaginative and tend to overvalue their own personal experiences. When they dismiss another perspective out of hand, it usually means they have a very limited understanding of the subject being discussed.
  11. Well in the spirit of the thread, they can fit a concept very well AND you have to take one to get into the Fighting pool anyway. You don't use it as part of any rotation. You use it when an enemy has a sliver of health left and you want to save an attack and look like a badass. On blasters it has allowed me to use a melee set that I wouldn't otherwise have AND skip my T1, which I would only use for those aforementioned slivers anyway.
  12. Somebody lied to you.
  13. Yeah that seems like a significant oversight. Unless the logic was that a Help Me player should be treated like a teammate? This is a new change, right?
  14. Yes, OP... I've done this too. I recently butchered my favorite character trying to "optimize" the build... and haven't played him since. I gave up decent defense and resist to everything in exchange for soft-capped ranged defense because that works well for me on another character... Thanks for this thread... I'm gonna go change him back and maybe even slot for knockback.
  15. Wait until OP finds out about hit points...
  16. Right. That's exactly what lack of empathy feels like Edit: I realized it's probably a terminology issue. You are talking about approval, not empathy. Empathy is not conditional, for obvious reasons.
  17. It is extremely difficult to empathize when it's conditional... maybe even impossible.
  18. Easy fix! They could use existing pieces from the costume creator as power customization options...
  19. But anyway... the message is definitely a funny little bug. That's pretty good. Maybe break up that run-on.
  20. Uh oh! Another whoopsie! Nobody is discussing that. It is a little confusing, because it seems related. This thread is not about whether you can accept alignment tips in co-op zones, but again it is very cool that you know this thing about the game.
  21. Right! Very good! That's more like it. This message is kind of inaccurate then maybe, right? What do you think about the message saying you're not in Paragon City when you are?
  22. Oh you poor thing. This thread is about the humorous wording of the message. OP is commenting on the message used to indicate the mechanic that you are describing. It's interesting because it says you're not in Paragon City, but maybe you are... or maybe Kallisti Wharf is actually NOT in Paragon City... there's all kinds of interesting ways the conversation could go. Maybe the message should be changed! Maybe there should be different messages depending on where you are! Edit: But it is very cool that you know this thing about the game!
