  1. Slotting upgrade powers, yes. Combat Teleport, no. Just no room for the Teleportation power pool on any of my builds.
  2. Not a bug. It's quite intentional. You're meant to run past Marauder and avoid him at all costs. Same thing happens in Neuron's story arc, where a level 40 Anti-Matter comes to bring you pain if you don't exit the mission in time. They're not meant to be beatable. You're meant to get out of those missions ASAP.
  3. That would be nice. In the meantime, I've found the best bet is to have only one or two people per team (preferably those with the highest defense), plant bombs, while everyone else goes directly to the mothership bowl. That way every team should get credit for both the Demolitionist and Master at Arms badges. Too many other Rikti mothership raid leaders though have everyone do the bomb phase, which results in a greater chance of people missing Master at Arms badge credit.
  4. Have everyone alternate characters between rounds. Round 1, play character A. Round 2, play character B. Round 3, play character A again. The mothership raid just wasn't designed for people to ditch it right after defeating U'Kon Gr'ai and go again. Removing the bomb lockout won't happen because it would undermine the Demolitionist badge as people would be able to plant ten or more bombs in one run.
  5. There's been a 30 minute bomb lockout in the MSR (both zone and instanced), since it was first added back on live.
  6. That's what I said two days ago. :P
  7. I've done it at least two dozen times over the past three years or so, including last month, and I don't recall that being an issue. Defeated Maelstrom just fine each time at level. Must be an Ouroboros Flashback thing.
  8. I agree with the former point, but disagree with the latter. The two Marvel's Spider-Man video games by Sony are fantastic, as is Marvel's Midnight Suns by Firaxis.
  9. Gang War on Thugs is pretty ridiculous, and Demons do a wee bit too much -res.
  10. Pylons won't work well for Corruptors vs. Defenders, because Defenders and Corruptors do pretty much the same exact amount of damage solo, with the exception of Scourge. Corruptors outshine Defenders in damage on teams, because the extra damage from Vigilance turns off with four or more teammmates. Granted, Corruptors will still do more damage on pylons thanks to Scourge. Also, high-end extremely meta hard mode and Incarnate trial teams don't have any Defenders. They have Corruptors. 'Cause yeah, Scourge doesn't matter much against minions. But hard modes and Incarnate trials have a lot of EBs, AVs, and even GMs, where Scourge shines and makes them melt. In comparison to Defenders, where I feel like I'm flinging pebbles.
  11. Corruptors do more damage on teams thanks to a combination of their superior damage modifiers and Scourge. Sure, Defenders have superior buff and debuff values... but not enough to actually matter. In CoH, damage is king, and Corruptors just plain do more damage. There is only one support power set that I would play on Defender instead of Corruptor, which is Sonic Resonance to take advantage of Vigilance on teams. Other than that, Corruptor all the way. Playing a Defender bores me to tears. About the only more boring AT in the game is Tanker, IMO.
  12. Beasts are technically at the bottom now if you want to be pedantic, but they’re still far ahead of the old Robotics and Mercenaries. Right now, it’s Thugs > Demons > Robotics/Mercenaries/Ninjas/Necro > Beasts. The Page 5 revamp was pretty thorough in making the revamped henchmen pretty equal. I expect Thugs and Demons to be nerfed in the next Mastermind batch, and for Beasts to be slightly buffed. In the end, play what you want. Playing for the meta is boring as Hell, and they’re all playable.
  13. Stealth never suppressed a taunt aura. Go to the P2W vendor, and buy the "Only Affects Self" power. That combined with stealth will suppress your taunt aura.
  14. Tell me that you've never played another MMORPG without telling me that you've never played another MMORPG. Every MMORPG has bugs that have been in the game since launch, even those that are 10+ years old.
  15. Funnily enough, Ship of Heroes (another CoH spiritual successor), just launched its Steam page here. It's coming at the end of this year.
  16. As someone who exclusively plays red side and gold side and abhors PvP, I'd like to unsubscribe from your newsletter. :P
  17. A sequel would be nice solely to remove all of the technical cruft CoH has accumulated. More and more people are running into issues running it on modern hardware, including myself. It's to the point that I pay $58 per month just to rent a Shadow PC to play despite having a modern gaming PC built last year, and honestly I'm kind of tired of it.
  18. The core issue isn’t Reverberant. You can see it in the screenshots. You can see that Degenerative Interface is just plain stacking way beyond 4x from many sources. Reverberant is just exasperating it, but isn’t the main culprit. @Booper, looks like Degenerative Interface is still very broken.
  19. Hi. I'm a great big dumb-dumb. The last mission of Darrin Wade's story arc requires a temporary power by the name of Midnight Visage to complete. Except you can accidentally delete the temporary power, like me. I am tired, and thought that I was deleting another temporary power instead, and then I saw "You have deleted Midnight Visage." So now I can't complete the mission. So I suggest not making the Midnight Visage temporary power deletable. Don't be a great big dumb-dumb like me, kids.
  20. For integrated graphics, yep. Their new Arc graphics cards supports OpenGL, but I have no idea how well.
  21. Either that, or he doesn’t realize that you need to fill a slot when it opens.
  22. LOL. Yeah, I remember that complaint in the great AE fire farm nerf threads. It was ludicrous. Too many people want Homecoming to be a pure sandbox server, which it very nearly already is.
  23. Does your Alpha show zero percent, or is it just empty?
  24. "Astralock, didn't Diantane complain about losing Incarnates before?" "Why yes he did, other Astralock. Yes, he did." In that other thread, you said that you were veteran level 3 and somehow lost all your Incarnate abilities. While it's possible to have all Incarnate abilities unlocked at veteran level 3, it's rare. Are you sure that you actually had the Incarnate abilities?
