  1. Thinking on it more. I'd say if a player account is >1 year old then players should just be able to set their own gold title. It can come with a popup warning that lists what is/isn't allowed. Similar to how we have rules for character names in the TOS. Seems like the easiest way to implement something like this without giving GMs piles of work. I retired the CR role last year due to finding it stressful. (Roleplayers be crazy. Lol.) As for the other CRs, the CR program was shut down a few months after the licensing agreement earlier this year. Can read the full details here:
  2. Just that I wished the CoH ingame timer went down to miliseconds One thing I wanted to mention, which has nothing to do with my tests, is that roleplayers don't really have a good log cleaning tool, and I think this tool could be used for this. If you you added a mode that allowed players to pick the channels they want to keep (local/emotes/request for roleplaying, etc), and then cleaned up the log by removing all the other channels, and timestamps and channel names; and then delivered that cleaned up log to the user? Would be a godsend. Not sure if this is of interest to you, but you did ask.
  3. Been using this to parse Kheldian ST attack chains. Fantastic tool. Thanks for taking the time to put it together @KaizenSoze
  4. I think giving every player the option to apply/request a custom title is a good idea. Folks could request stuff for flavour like a "Goddess of Kheldians" or "Crey Sponsored Superhero" title. But they could also request more functional ones like "Base Builder" or "Speedrunner" or "PvPer". This request could be done via an official form of some kind. And would have guidelines on what is/is not allowed. (Nothing that implies a leadership role, nothing that indicates you represent HC, nothing that implies seniority/authority, nothing that contradicts the lore, nothing offensive, etc.) If everyone can apply (maybe make being able to apply a reward for having been here 1 year?) then it helps avoid the haves vs have nots that gold titles create. Would be more work for a very stretched, unpaid, volunteer GM team, though.
  5. Koopak's bot wasn't able to do the attack chains in the OP. So the bot has nothing to do with this thread. Now, 15 attacks in 4s is doable. It's just a question of muscle memory/practice. But this doesn't really prove anything IMO. What would be interesting, to me, is seeing how many of those 15 attacks have to land in order to match/exceed Scrapper DPS. The discussion thus far, from both sides, seems to assume it requires all 15, and therefore perfect timing. This might not be the case, though. Knowing where the line is, precisely how many of the 15 attacks need to land, would go a long way in determining how easy to use this chain is to use, relative to scrappers.
  6. Done! Also added the EM/Bio stalker, too. Appreciate you taking the time to put this thread together. The recharge thresholds are especially helpful.
  7. Found these vids kicking around. Flea Rules. (No temps/insps/etc) Builds attached. 35s Peacebringer: 33s Em/Bio Stalker: kansas's kheldian 4.0.mbd em bio pylon.mbd
  8. The 35s "Flea Pylon" time of mine didn't use any temp powers / P2W powers / aura of mot / etc. I just used Koopak's chain, above, and it resulted in 1223 DPS. So, Koopak's correct that getting over 1000DPS on a Peacebringer under 4* restrictions is possible. (With the obvious caveat that Pylon performance =/= sustained DPS performance.) Video's below. I laid out the attack chain in order of execution on the bars in the middle-bottom of the screen, so people could see how often I failed to time them correctly For comparison's sake, my EM/Bio stalker can get around 33s.
  9. IME it's a good idea to monitor your influence in combat stats, and make a note of exactly how much you've earned per hour, in order to get an accurate inf-per-minute value. Farmers nearly always over-estimate how much inf they earn an hour when they just guesstimate it. Also worth remembering that the limit for how many accounts you can run per shard is 3, so any full teams will have to divide their yield by 3 at minimum to get the real value earned. (I.e., the 6m per minute in the OP is actually 2m for OP, and 2m for each of the other two players rounding out their team.) Best setup I've found for triple-boxing is: Rad/MA completing the asteroid ~20 times in 1 hour = 110m-120m inf + 2xAFK farmers on seperate asteroids = 66m inf So around ~3mil a minute of just influence. (Obviously that number increases when purple drops are factored in.) Load times factor in slightly. But then again, you can leave the asteroid around the two minute mark on the Rad/MA once the big mob is dead. This will increase your inf-per-minute rate, and make up for the load times hit. Overall it averages out at 3mil/minute, triple-boxing with the above. Of course, if you triple-box on each shard with AFK farmers as the TOC currently allow, that works out at 495m per hour, or 8.25m per minute. But that becomes City of Loading Screens and is not fun at all.
  10. Should be doable. Can have more than 3 builds on a ourodev server. Would be a great change IMO.
  11. Big congrats to the team. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and eye laser everything.
  12. They used to award the Bug Hunter badge just for closed beta participation. Might be a good idea to start that up again? Who knows. But as someone who's earned the badge four times, it quickly loses its appeal. The chief appeal of closed beta/QA testing is: See new features before everyone else. See experimental features that don't make it to open beta. The ability to directly influence the development of the game. (Open Beta allows this too, to an extent, but not to the degree Closed Beta does.) Direct access to the Dev team. Unfortunately, this does mean closed beta is full of folks who test nothing and just want to be part of the "in crowd". Which in turn leads to a lot of discord debate/discussion and not a huge amount of ingame testing. So, perhaps you're right, and some form of reward for closed beta testing might help that stage of development regain its focus.
  13. Feel free to post a leveling build with SOs. Happy to give pointers on how to tweak/play that, too.
  14. For a mitigation cycle, try: MoG>Instant Healing>MoG>Melee Hybrid (Res) Can also use Rune of Protection, Barrier, and Demonic. (Either layered on top of the above, or as part of a different mitigation cycle. I.e. if you want to keep MoG as an anti-spike tool.) Recon and DP to counter spikes. Should be able to solo +4/8 just fine. End drainers like Carnies are the only real threat. But you can mitigate them to some extent via base buff and Ageless. (Not ideal, I know. About the only thing I ever agree with in these regen suggestion threads is that the set needs more debuff resists.) If you're having a hard time playing regen, post your build in the thread and I'm sure folks will be able to give pointers.
  15. "Anyone can become a closed beta tester" is no longer true. Folks can join the discord, sure, but access to the closed beta channels / game server for new players is on hold for now. Hopefully that changes for the next update. Would be nice to have more closed beta testers who actually log in and test things.
