1. Not that I'm aware of. 2. On live, it would have shown 101 badges. On Homecoming, 100.

To be frank, if you're PUGing, yeah, you're going to get grief over skipping Ice Shield and Glacial Shield. Not so much Frostwork. If you do plan to PUG, I'd advise making a second build with those powers if you don't want that grief. That said, it's your character.

Sonic/Sonic is much like Dark/Dark, thematic but anathema to each other. The primary wants you at range with all of its cone attacks, while the secondary very much wants you in melee. That's why you won't see a build for it. If you want a Sonic Attack Blaster, I'd recommend /Devices, /Energy, or /Tactical Arrow instead.

It's still available on the OuroDev Git (which requires an account), and on the OuroDev Discord server, pinned in its #piglet-development channel.

New trailer is up!

Bluesky feeds capture posts with specific trigger words or hashtags, regardless of poster. So if you skeet "paragon city" or "#cityofheroes," the City of Heroes feed will automatically capture it. Bluesky lists are what is limited to specific people that have to be added to the list.

All things City of Heroes, regardless of server. It's mostly for City of Heroes players that are already on Bluesky (which there are quite a few). Discord is siloed. Reddit specifically sells your content to OpenAI, Google, and probably others to be scraped by, and fed to, LLMs. I only saw one openly political-related post there from the past three days. And no, there's really nothing to keep discussion on target unless I set it so I have to manually approve every single post - which, yeah, not happening . The feed automatically captures any post with the keywords in the original message. If you or anyone else mentions in a Bluesky post/skeet "city of heroes," it will show up in the feed, with or without the hashtag. Again, people are already discussing City of Heroes on Bluesky. They have been for over a year, and it's just occurring more and more frequently as more and more people use Bluesky. I just made it easier to find those discussions.

It doesn't have to be. I have nothing personal posted on Bluesky. It's all discussion about comic books, video games, announcements for the Internet radio station I'm affiliated with, sharing news articles, and sharing memes... It's all about how you decide to use it.

I can also promise that at this very moment, AI is being trained using the data found on these forums, unless you think all 200+ guests currently viewing the forums are human beings... Spoiler: They're not.

Yeah, there's been quite a bit of CoH discussion there lately, which is why I thought a feed collecting it all to make it easier for people to find is a good idea. Thirteen million users now IIRC, half of which joined in the past two months. Almost all of tech Twitter has moved over, as has the Internet radio station that I am involved with.

I've led a kill most/steamroll ITF where I was the only 50 on the team... on a Controller... and two people rage quit the team because I refused to set it at +4 difficulty. They were trained by AE farms and/or PI radio mission farms to think that a single level 50 character can carry a full team of lowbies.

Victory has been around for over five years (just like Homecoming), but due to the tiny size of the player base there, you're mostly (if not entirely), soloing. Masterminds are one of the best ATs to solo play with, so Robotics being the top power set isn't surprising.

Nope. No advertising whatsoever. They do plan to launch an optional subscription, but that's it. In addition, if you really want to get into the technical nitty gritty, Bluesky is more of a protocol where people can eventually run their own servers (like Mastodon, but much more seamlessly). But no, it doesn't sell your information nor do advertisements. Again, they plan to offer an optional subscription because they need to fund the thing somehow, but that's it.

For those unaware, Bluesky is a fairly new microblogging social media platform, like Twitter/X, Mastodon, and Threads. Bluesky has really picked up in traffic as of late as more and more people move over to it. For City of Heroes players, I created a Bluesky feed. It's just an alternate medium to follow the game and its players. Essentially, all Bluesky posts (or skeets), that have the following will show up in one central City of Heroes feed: city of heroes, city of villains, paragon city, paragon studios, rogue isles, #cityofheroes, #cityofvillains, #coh, #cohhomecoming, #cohnewdawn, #cohrebirth, #cohthunderspy, #cov Yeah, yeah, I know. Social media icky. I hear you. But Bluesky is, IMO, the best of a bad lot, and I do see City of Heroes-related posts/skeets there. I just made it easier to find them. You can find the feed here if you are interested.

By level ten at the absolute latest on every character (and usually by level seven), I go to Pocket D to talk with Null the Gull to disable Speed Boost, Group Fly, Team Teleport, the pop-up travel power tray, Mystic Fortune, and to change my character's alignment to Rogue. I mean, I could complain about someone using Speed Boost on me. But that would be asinine, wouldn't it, as it would be on me for not disabling it. So I just make sure to go to Pocket D to turn it off, in all of two minutes. It's an amazing concept.

Until the developers change the situation (which I very much hope that they do), it ultimately comes down to this: "People don't go to Pocket D to disable Group Fly because it's so rare! You're only one person, you should disable Group Fly for the benefit of the seven other people on the team." No. Group Fly is rare because A. it wasn't even very good for Mastermind henchmen until 2021, and B. people immediately lose their crap and bully the Group Fly user to turn it off. So of course it's rare. Although it doesn't seem to be all that rare anymore considering all of the complaints on the forums, in-game, and on the various Discord servers over the past several months... Also, if people keep turning Group Fly off because people won't bother to take the two minutes to do so on their own, then I'd pretty much never get to use it on a team. So no, I won't turn it off. Consider it a public service... people will know to disable it for the next time. I agree. I consider knockback to be as bad as Fold Space, but nope, I never kick anyone off of a team or league for using either. I just grumble under my breath a little, rate the player one star, make a note, and move on. They're playing how they like, and even though it negatively impacts me I just deal with it for the moment and one star the person with a note so I know for next time.

Mostly that it's much more difficult for henchmen to survive the pylon phase of the Rikti mothership raid, be able to damage the Rikti drop ship at all in a Rikti mothership raid, harder for henchmen to survive in the third and fourth missions of the Imperious Task Force, and the Hamidon mitos are more difficult for the henchmen to damage in a Hamidon raid and the LGTF.

As has been discussed in multiple threads, Group Fly is very helpful to play a Mastermind well in certain situations, especially in open areas. People's laziness should not dictate to the Mastermind player how to play. If someone's powers require being grounded, then the player should take the two minutes after making the character to head to Pocket D to disable Group Fly. If they're too lazy or forgetful to do that, that isn't the Mastermind player's problem.

Is your alignment Rogue or Villain? If so, temporarily change it to Hero or Vigilante.
