On a regular slot, you can choose Head > Special Helmets This will give you access to the arachnos wolf, crab/bane and widow/fortunata helmet appearances. And you can use the arachnos cape too. But other than those two things, every costume part is locked and only available got the 1st slot. I do hope they change this because I'd like to have one spec as bane and one spec as crab, each using different but similar arachnos-themed costumes. Fingers crossed...

So you know, the fastest way is to go to P2W vendor and get Double XP (temp power) and then que for Death From Below. Each run is about 30 mins long and you can get up to level17 or so from just a couple runs. If not wanting to do that, then you can do missions while XP buff is active. When doing missions, try to fight any enemies you see nearby, as these can add up over time as well. Good Luck and welcome back! I'll be going crab on my arachnos soldier soon. There is nothing wrong with using the word "twink" to describe low level characters that you make as powerful as possible. Yes, some use it to describe young gay guys but that does not mean it is not a viable term in the mmo space.

I was going to do the same thing. One hero and one villain. But there are missions/contacts listed at certain levels that are off in wiki, depending on how long you take to get to that part of contact mission and when mission is started. So I'm just leveling normally and doing all I can and then I can go back for any arcs I missed and complete them through Oroboros. As much as I want to experience all content, I don't want to miss one mission and then it throws everything out of whack and have to do it all over again. Maybe I'll go slow on different characters and just do a 5 level or 10level bracket perfect so after a few characters, it'll add up to have seen everything. Points for the attempt though. You got further than I did.

Think about it. There are millions of mmo players that play other moms. Many who have never played CoH. And then there are millions of console players who have pcs but never played an mmo or coh. And then there are even more millions who have pcs that would play CoH and mmos if they knew about them. Because WE play mmos and know about mmos, we think all people do. But that is not the case. And many people who play mmos only play just one mmo and don't go on forums or news sites to find out about other mmos because they are too busy playing their mmo. Many mmos will promote to players who are already playing one or multiple other mmos, so promoting to them doesn't peel many yo CoH and those that do come try CoH are already jaded and burnt out from how they play other mmos So we need fresh blood. So yup, CoH could get millions if new players. If every player would put up a CoH Homecoming social post just once a week, that will bring a lot of new players. Try it out and you will see! OK, so unlike other toggles when in human form, I can toggle light form in human form and then it will stay active as Nova or Dwarf? That's badass! I'm lvl 25 now so halfway there. It's too fun so I don't lock xp. I just enjoy the game and when I get to 50, i can go back on Oro to do any missions I missed. Mainly hero story arcs. Loving Kheldian PB!!!! I hope people still do groups for GMs. I have yet to experience any GM or zone events, other than steel canyon building fires. Where in North kings row can I find Paladin bot?

Supergroup Base Battles still exist, so they items of power are good for that, even if they don't provide the buffs. Or do they? Muahahahaha!

Very cool! Yeah I always thought Kheldians PB was such a great and unique type of hero to play and I love being able to switch to whatever is needed. Need some extra oooomph for DPS? Switch to Nova for a few hits. Low on HP? Switch to Dwarf for a bit. I can't wait to unlock light form and then I'll have 4 different things. So awesome! Have fun everyone! See you in the city!

I'm thinking pretty much all contacts end up snatching on one character or another lol. My vote is Stephanie Peebles. She is all about the gossip and "those young whipper-snappers" is probably what she says when heros go by lol.

When you get to a zone on either side, look at the map and see if there are any icons up showing a contact has a new mission (even for those you have not met yet). So lets say 3 are showing. If two are the same origin, then once you accept a mission from one - the other icon on map will disappear. Find Contact is great if you have not been introduced to a contact in the new zone you are in. Just remember find contact shows only SOME of the contacts in your zone or next one up. And it also shows contacts you have not met yet. That does not mean they have missions for you. Worse case you just speak to them and see they don't have a mission, but now you know where they are for the future. I tried to do it all but I saw that was pointless. So what I do is prioritize hero story arcs over regular missions wherever I can. And then when I need to gain some xp and don't want to move onto next hero story arc mission, I'll do a few regular missions or radio missions. I'm not doing anything from Gold side, other than the Shining Stars arcs. There is soooo much to do just with normal blue side, I'll save gold contact for praetorian characters. Even if you only do one mission and some exploration, its good to visit EVERY ZONE, including Hazard and Trial zones (as most have at least a few missions). When I reach 50, whatever missions/arcs I missed I can do at my own pace. Also, don't forget to visit the PVP zones and cooperative zones - they have a lot of cool suff. And Trials and Taskforces are always fun and you get a lot of merits from them. Have fun! Good luck!

Why skip: Skyway City Talos Island I'm doing most of what you laid out OP but not bothering with Gold content until I make my Gold characters. Then they can do 1-20 gold, some other zones and then back on praetorian track

I understand Homecoming takes donations only. But maybe now with the license that could change? Just seems like we could get the devs a lot more $$$ so they can spend more time on the game and maybe get more to help. Regardless, I want to offer my services to help the development. How can the run be set for +1 and you get +2 enemies? Is this normal?

For Tanking and melee+AOE = Dwarf For Higher DPS Ranged = Nova For All Around abilities with ranged and melee, plus different toggles = Human Form I have only played PB for 23 levels, but I am loving Tri-Form. But not all encounters need you to switch between the 3. I am looking forward to when I can get light form too! I attack from Human with toggles used. Then I nuke from ranged with Nova (+ AOE). Then land where mobs are with AOE from Dwarf and finish them off. SOOO FUN!

Yes. Any Epic Archetype Character should be able to use the AT parts on all slots. Or at least more than just one. Someone could have a bane spider and crab spider as their builds but only one costume allows the parts. I hope they change this.

WOW has sites where they release articles on a daily basis. COH could have the same thing. We can connect the database to the wiki so players can search for missions and other players could leave comments for each one. The articles can highlight all the parts of the game, all the ATs and different features. It will also be a great way to promote Homecoming and we can get paid advertisers so more money can be put into the game. I also think we should start a kickstarter - so we can collect even more funding to help with the game. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? ANY SIMILAR IDEAS? Comment below.

Hey all. If you play Arachnos then you know there is only one costume slot that allows the use of Epic AT visuals. 1 - I would like to be able to switch between Wolf/Crab and Bane, and I know Widows want to switch between their own different sets. 2 - Is there any pieces or costume for Kheldian PB or Nictus? Does anyone know how to get another slot to use Epic AT costume pieces? It would mean the world to many of us Arachnos agents.

Well, right now there are only a handful of travel powers and then variants of each. Flying, Jumping, Supersport, Telenor and the different versions of each. I'd love to see: Tunneling Grapple hook + gliding w/cape Semi-Teleport (shorter distance teleports you can string together) For normal powers, I'd like to see: Shape-shifting Animal Masterminds Enemy mob masterminds

CoH Homecoming could easily gain hundreds of thousands of new players. Just need to advertise and promote the game. Gotta promote it to people who have nor played before and those that never played an mmo, which is millions upon millions of potential players. Each of us players should post on social about CoH Homecoming and that should help too

I gotta say that CoH is quite unique when compared with other mmos. Even DCUO and CO, which have many similarities are both quit different from CoH. CoH has the most unique storylines about being a superhero or villain and I like that we get to see what goes on between fights and leading up to big events. Even being 20 years old, once you play a few weeks and get used to the graphics, it is soooooo much fun!!!! I'm not an altaholic so I do not plan on making dozens of characters. After my Arachnos solider and Kheldian get to 50, I'll make a resistance and praetorian so I can see all that 1-20 content. And I might make a normal hero and villain too, but that would be it. Anything I didn't get to see or do in Oro on my first two characters I will do on my others. I started with WOW as my first mmorpg. But I wanted to play CoH first, though the system requirements were beyond my computers capabilities back then. WOW is a game that has just about everything and playing CoH, I see that it too has everything. A big expansive world with tons of lore and activities, but also comics and other stuff outside the game, which makes it even better! I also love that CoH is not a game you should rush. With things being timed a bit slower than other mmos for rotation powers, it lets us take a bit more time and really experience everything as superpowered beings! I love it!!!!! I am looking for a SuperGroup for my villain and hero, both on the main server. I want to find SGs that want to get everything for their base, as well as do some base attacks/defenses. I have a Kheldian Peacekeeper and an Arachnos Soldier. Both are really quite fun. I start with doing Atlas contacts and arcs > kings > steel/skyway + boomtown/hollows/etc hazard zones. There is a lot I want to do. The trials and all the taskforces. Even if I outlevel some story arcs, I can always see them in Oro, which is amazing! I thought about stopping xp but after an hour, it ruined the pace for me. So I put it back on and I'm having a blast! I want to do all the contact missions (at least all the story arcs) for all city zones, 1-50. I get some missions to go to hazard zones and when there, I'll explore and pick up a few other missions from contacts, if there are any in the hazard zone I'm in. Even if I don't get to complete everything, I'll at least get to adventure across all zones and hazard zones. And trials in trial zones when I can. One question: What level should I start heading into PVP zones? What level should I start doing Rikti Invasion zone? Just need the minimum level so I can start exploring before I outlevel these areas. Any help is appreciated

OP, you just have to do a few easy things. I sell off any salvage over 1ct. So if you have 2 or 5, sell all except for 1 of each type you have. All enhancements you can't use you should sell as well. Recipes that won't help your character you can sell on Ah. Just type /ah, then drag recipe to bottom area and click "Find" to see value. If that doesn't get you enough Inf, you can do the following: Go to P2W vendor. Buy (with Merits) enhancement boosters, enhancement unslotters, and enhancement converters. These sell from 50k to 200k + for each one, only costing 1 merit each. You get merits from completing story arcs so you can use a few to make some quick inf and from there it will build up, especially once you get past level 15-20. Good luck!
