  1. Im sorry I disseminated wrong information. Thank you both for pointing it out to me.
  2. Maybe! I could be wrong. I'm usually wrong. Perception is everything, I guess.
  3. edit: bad information
  4. I think the personal story missions are a neat insight into things going with some of the major NPCs. And they are all worth a badge to play through. On the bad side, most of them are pretty clunky to play through.
  5. That was great fun! And lots of badges were had. Thanks to all who came and joined in. Some new faces there. Vibrato, Convergent, Absinos (?), and even Pajama. Special thanks to @Glacier Peak for the knowledgeable.... uh... knowledge. (Whatever the words are.) Something Wicked Sunday 10 How about a Lord Recluse SF this week?
  6. I'm not sure yet. But that brotzeitbrettl sure sounds tasty.
  7. That's awesome! Thanks for the info. And thanks for a new badge!
  8. What is the Black Whip?
  9. That's a solid question, but no. The police station is one of the early day job badges I get on my characters. Any benefit I got from that played out several weeks ago.
  10. Not a huge amount. We stay alive for the most part, but occasionally we're in over our heads. But even then, there's not a disproportionate amount of being defeated. This past Saturday, the controller character died a couple times.
  11. I'm going to need a brotzeitbrettl.
  12. If there is, I have no idea what it could be. Maybe one of the devs might know?
  13. Ah, that kind of overflow. Not so much. As soon as I hit 41, I turned the XP off so the others could catch up.
  14. Patrol XP should be about the same for each of us. These three characters only run together and anything done solo, like gathering exploration badges, is done with XP off. The difference in Patrol XP should be minimal.
  15. Nope. We each get the contacts and the missions. It's the controller's player who is team lead, and she usually sets her own missions.
  16. On Saturday nights, I'm in a dedicated team of three. We started at level 1, and last night we hit 42. We're in no hurry, and we often turn our XP off to hit certain story arcs and what have you. We run at normal XP. We get the contacts together and we each have the missions. However, for some reason, my character outpaces theirs. Up until last night, we hadn't given it much thought. Last night's run, though, really indicated the weird inequality. Last Saturday, I hit 41 and turned my XP off because they had not leveled yet. Last night, I waited until they both leveled before turning my XP back on. At the end of the night, I hit 42 a full bar before they did! We compared a couple numbers. My XP for defeating a dude was the same as theirs. My end-mission XP was the same as theirs. I'm not out defeating stuff away from them. What is going on? I'm a scrapper and the other two are a brute and a controller. It's all door missions - no street sweeping unless a contact asks for it. Last night we did Tina MacIntyre's two arcs and Levantera's joining Vanguard part 2 arc. Anyone have an explanation for us? Maybe the game just likes my character more? So weird.
  17. Dumb. And weird since her bones are on display in the Galaxy City gov building. (They actually are.)
  18. They should teleport in from nowhere, hit you with, like, a stealth strike, then port away to nowhere again. They could do that all throughout your mission. Make them harriers. Holds and immobilizes can be their weakness. That would make them more interesting.
  19. Two Volvo semis with my character doing a split in between while my theme music plays.
  20. Thanks, @Glacier Peak ! I kind of have a rough idea of how the event in RV works, but I've never done it. I was thinking all of the heroes would spawn, but I guess it's only a couple at a time. So the process might take a bit longer than I'm thinking, which is okay. You are more than welcome to join in, even as a blue sider for pillbox swapping if needed!
  21. Something Wicked Sunday 9 October 3rd. So I have a plan for us. We're going to march into Recluse's Victory and take down the silly heroes: Ms. Liberty, Back alley Brawler, Synapse, Manticore, Positron, and Penelope Yin. (This is not PvP... we're not going to PvP.) We'll get the badges for the heroes, the exploration badges, and likely the badge for spending an hour in zone. We're looking at 16 badges total. You gotta be of Villain or Rogue alignment and level 40+. The closer to 50/Incarnate you are, the better off we'll be. I don't think this whole thing will take much longer than an hour or so. An hour and a half? I don't want to engage in PvP, so we will stick together like we're glued and if some rando hero wants a go at us, they'll get the whole team on them. If it somehow becomes a super bad nuisance, we can exit and finger something else out. With Indom's population dropping, I don't think there's much in the way of PvP anymore.
  22. Did you know if you go through that whole dialog twice you get the Very Gullible badge?
  23. This sounds fun. I'm down as a sitter. I'll edit this post for my three potential builds as I think of them.
  24. It varies wildly for each player. This is mine... I have four enhancement bins. One for level 40 vanilla IOs. One for level 50 vanilla IOs. One for holding crafted set IOs. One for swapping IOs from one character to another. (The vanilla IO bins each have 12 accuracy, 12 damage, 12 defense, 12 resist, 6 end mod, 6 end reduction, 6 health, 6 recharge, 3 stun, 3 defense debuff, 3 to hit, 3 hold, 3 immobilize, 3 fly, 3 run, 3 jump, 1 slow, 1 stun, 1 to hit debuff, 1 range, 1 taunt, and 1 confuse.) I have four salvage racks for common salvage (a-c, d-i, k-r, s-t... no more than 11 of each). Two racks for uncommon salvage (a-mutant blood, mutant dna-u... no more than 5 each). One rack for rare salvage (no more than 3 or 4 each). One salvage rack for brain storm ideas, catalysts, converters, and unslotters. One salvage rack for Halloween salvage. And one rack for candy canes. Other than a few individual, specialty set IOs, I generally run SOs up to level 37 then I craft the character a whole set of level 40 vanilla IOs. Then at 47, they get a whole set of level 50 vanilla IOs. The ones in the bins are there for when they are leveling up in between and just need a few here and there. (I don't bother with level 45 because the differences are pretty negligible. And I only have a few characters that bother with extensive set IO slotting.) When I'm crafting a bunch, I'll buy salvage straight from the auction house, but if I'm crafting one or two things, I'll look in my bins to see what I have on hand. I have seven SGs, and all seven bases have the same storage configuration. I wish there were recipe storage bins. I hate myself.
  25. Never have I ever... ... been involved in a Master of... TF. I don't want to be a hindrance screwing it up for everyone. ... done an iTrial (since live). I don't want to be a hindrance screwing it up for everyone. ... been a successful farmer. The grocery store provides me the fresh veggies I want.
