  2. You got it. Apparently doubly so. Running gag with my SG. My claws/sr sits at 3mins. Your times are standard rules, no temps/insps/lore?
  3. For the record: using lore pets during pylon time runs is verboten. Course.. using them against AVs is not so it doesn't make much sense to block them from your tests if you're gonna use them in regular practice. Much like incarnate assault. All test should be done as per your desired info, of course.
  4. Think I've got seers for my farmer. I end up telling it to follow often so that it pulls their aggro into my melee range.

Has anyone already created a tie-in webpage like CoD to create an Attack Chain Designer that would show you how much recharge you need for a given chain to be pauseless or what the actually timespan of a given chain would be? I know of the DPS calculator in Mids but I can't get that to work. Edit: To put it another way: Data is pulled from current CoH numbers AT and powersets are chosen Requested attack chain is chosen with given damage buffs and total recharge Data is displayed

  9. I've seen that behavior. She will hit her heal pretty often but if you're not in need of it, yea, she's checking her phone.

  11. Except a few rare cases where concept demands a difference choice, it's always Carnies Radial for me. Partly because of the buffs from the Seneshal but mostly due to to the Dark Ring Mistress' psi damage and her cute butt.
  12. I don't disagree. I've never been able to solo the MLTF, for example, and I'd certainly never call for it being nerfed. It's perfectly acceptable for there to be content in the game that's simply too hard for me to solo versus the idiocy of not being allowed to even make the attempt. Edit: I feel I should add here, I didn't ask for this change to be rolled back. I only stated that it made the ITF less fun and I'd be less likely to run it because of the change. Course, as it turned out, it also made me less likely to play CoH at all simply because of how much time I spent soloing the ITF up to this point.
  13. Should be the normal equation: if your mitigation > her hold's damage, you win.
  14. Tight attack chains using the highest DPA attacks backed by solid slotting, often with procs, and layering on more damage and/or debuffs from the incarnate powers. But it's all lies until you can solo a +4 Aeon in the MLTF with no insps, temps or amps! ... He always kicks my ass. /runs away sobbing

  17. You could also go nuts and build a ranged scrapper. After SR was nerfed to the dirt way back in the old days but before the scaling resists were added, I was running my claws/sr scrapper utilizing nothing but focus and shockwave from claws along with Dark Blast, Night Fall and Tenebrous Tentacles from Dark Mastery. It wasn't great but it did keep me alive during those dark days.

  19. Thanks, but the snipes are right out for me. I know everyone says that there's no change in overall animation time with the no redraw option but it's still too jarring for me to go between weapons and non-weapon attacks. Edit: And I've never bought the line that chain times don't increase when redraw is a factor.
  20. So far I've been sticking with the following on any character with which I do pylon runs. T4 Assault - Core for scrappers/blasters/stalkers/sents, Radial for the rest. I always click this to start my runs. T4 Degen Core for the -HP. T4 Musc Core. I was made to realize I wasn't tracking average pylon times on my spreadsheet so I'm attempting to get that updated. So far: BZB Scrap still sits right around the 3min mark, as does my fire/time blaster, who obviously needs some ST chain analysis. Surely, she can do better than that. BZB Brute hovers around 4mins, with BZB Tank at around 4.5mins. Shield/NRG tank can get as low as 3mins if I saturate AAO with monkeys, but pretty sure sits around 3.5mins usually. Added amps to test the ITF the other day and can't retest until they burn out. Best times for me so far have come from my claws/bio scrapper who is currently hovering around 1.75 but could probably be better if I included eviscerate... which I just can't make myself do. Don't currently have an em/bio scrap on live but the one I tested on beta sat around 1.5. All this leads to a question: If I'm solo and never hitting the damage cap, is there ever a good reason to choose assault radial over core? Does the old rule of AT Dam Mod < 1 go radial still hold true or should I be running core on AT Dam Mod > .9 or some other value? Or is it all just test at see at this point?
  21. I'm not as hardcore as @Werner If I'm just in my normal meditation mode, I don't buff enemies and the debuff self mode is always bit too masochistic for me. I did once accidentally turn off enhancements. It became hilarious after I figured out WHY I was faceplanting in seconds with the 1st spawn.
  22. Biggest problem with DM for me is that the best attack chain involves left handed animations. Very boring to watch.
  23. Side note on this: Gloom's damage is DoT but it's also usually vastly better DPA damage than most brutes/tank attacks. This becomes relevant when you're pounding on hard targets like AVs and Pylons. Example: My shield/nrg tank uses ET(slow)-TF-ET(fast)-Gloom-BS as her attack chain because gloom is better DPA than any of the other nrg attacks. And now I'm rambling because I know other folks are getting better DPS adding more attacks but proc-monstering everything they use.
