Someone want to tell me why a pool power attack has better DPA than the entirety of the sonic blast set? Oh.. my bad. Mind probe is a better DPA attack than every single primary attack power there is for sentinels except zapping bolt, blaze, and bitter ice blast. I realize this probably isn't news to a lot of you but I find it horrific.

Your em/sd scrapper will be tougher with better single target damage but your aoe output will be drastically better on the claws/sr. I need to revisit all three of my claws and sr builds. Right now they're basically identical, excepting the AT IOs, and I want to tweak them back to being AT focused instead. May not end up being all that different than what I have now but I'm curious.

My DP/SR is more fun to watch but my rad/regen feels more effective. Both are lowbies running basic IOs at this point, however.

Do it. The others are correct that going stalker will be the biggest bump to ST damage, but if you want to stay scrapper, zapp is the way to go.

Are yall using the +fury brute AT IO proc regularly? Ran out to the war zone, opened combat monitor, have that fury proc in followup, chained my normal followup, focus, slash chain on a pylon and saw fury hit 198% damage, so 99 fury. Probably would have seen it cap if I had a herd of monkeys on me.

I believe it's because Sovera developed some kind of animosity towards -resistance. It worries me. 🙂

Should be 1 fury = 2% damage buff unless something changed when I wasn't looking.

I think you just described a stone melee/nrg aura brute with gloom and darkest night from soul mastery.

Powers menu, Combat Attributes, Base, about halfway down will show you what you have. Edit: Oh, wow... am I ever late to this thread.

This is part of it but on the subjective side, for me, It's the difference in feel and when I brute, the difference is much wider between how it feels solo and how it feels on a team heavy with buffs compared to how the scrapper and tank feel solo or teamed. That wider disparity is why I think brutes shine on teams more. Granted, you have to solo just as often to feel it and some folks just don't do that.

Brutes shine on teams more so than scrappers and tanks. This isn't to say they're in any way bad at soloing.

I wish my brain would grok this but the fingers are in control. Can't yell you how many times I've used ET on a minion with 1% health left just because it was the next attack in my chain.

I really dig seeing some solid Sent times in here as well. My fire/bio Sent sits right at the 3 min mark with my claws/sr scrapper, so awesome job there!

This is my only character with moonbeam. I have never seen this behavior with gloom which I have abused like a good boy. I don't get it either. Nothing I know about the game's mechanics explains it but my knowledge is *extremely* limited.

Course, when I *am* on a tank, I taunt more. However, my secondary is still damage and I use it cuz I'm not a moron.

Cuz I'm a scrapper.

So, my statement that this is 100% repeatable is categorically wrong. My statement that there is a bug present that needs to be fixed is still correct. Mea culpa on the wrong part.
