  1. Are yall using the +fury brute AT IO proc regularly? Ran out to the war zone, opened combat monitor, have that fury proc in followup, chained my normal followup, focus, slash chain on a pylon and saw fury hit 198% damage, so 99 fury. Probably would have seen it cap if I had a herd of monkeys on me.
  2. I believe it's because Sovera developed some kind of animosity towards -resistance. It worries me. 🙂
  3. Should be 1 fury = 2% damage buff unless something changed when I wasn't looking.
  4. I think you just described a stone melee/nrg aura brute with gloom and darkest night from soul mastery.

This is part of it but on the subjective side, for me, It's the difference in feel and when I brute, the difference is much wider between how it feels solo and how it feels on a team heavy with buffs compared to how the scrapper and tank feel solo or teamed. That wider disparity is why I think brutes shine on teams more. Granted, you have to solo just as often to feel it and some folks just don't do that.
  7. Brutes shine on teams more so than scrappers and tanks. This isn't to say they're in any way bad at soloing.
  8. I wish my brain would grok this but the fingers are in control. Can't yell you how many times I've used ET on a minion with 1% health left just because it was the next attack in my chain.
  9. I really dig seeing some solid Sent times in here as well. My fire/bio Sent sits right at the 3 min mark with my claws/sr scrapper, so awesome job there!

  11. This is my only character with moonbeam. I have never seen this behavior with gloom which I have abused like a good boy. I don't get it either. Nothing I know about the game's mechanics explains it but my knowledge is *extremely* limited.
  12. Course, when I *am* on a tank, I taunt more. However, my secondary is still damage and I use it cuz I'm not a moron.
  13. So, my statement that this is 100% repeatable is categorically wrong. My statement that there is a bug present that needs to be fixed is still correct. Mea culpa on the wrong part.
  14. Got it. And in getting video I'm noticing something else. If I'm far enough away, projectile and damage numbers coincide. As I close distance and then fire it off, damage numbers appear before projectile or enemy health bar disappears before projectile hits.

  16. Another option is the Midnighter's Mansion in Night Ward, accessible from the Tunnel portals or base porter setup, so that you can get the badge without having to run the arc, then LFG to Imperious Strike Force.
  17. Also, unless EVERY insta-snipe in the game also lands damage as soon as the power is clicked, then it makes this a functionality bug on TOP of being a graphical bug. 🙂

  19. I'm not ignoring it. I'm betting you tested nothing and have chosen gaslighting as your preferred mode of forum PvP and since we don't run unenhanced characters around here, it's a damn moot point. But it's easy enough to test and get a video even though it will STILL be meaningless just like your opinion on what a bug is or isn't. Says the pot that entered the thread with such crap from the get go.
  20. Pretty sure he said a lot of silly things. For work, of course, I've had to support everything, but at home, I pretty much went from DOS to 98SE to XP to 7 to 10. Server 2000 and 2003 were in play for a while to learn stuff at one point.
  21. Broken games become less broken when broken code is corrected. PvPers whining about broken powers being corrected are not a concern of mine. As you say, wanna PvP? Don't use builds not suited for this game's PvP. The bug that needs fixing has been logged in the bugs forum as requested by the devs. The bug is repeatable and constant in builds people actually use. Are we done now?
  22. Under Options, Config, Effects & Mths, be sure Arcanatime is enabled for Animation Times. Gloom's cast jumps to 1.32 and Smite to 1.188. Arcanatime will give you a far closer approximation of your in game DPA.
