I have a lvl 40ish staff/bio scrapper that through my own fault and lack of a plan has led to some awful slotting. I looked at my kin/regen scrapper for a clue that has me back on track. Before that though, I had an idea to not take staff mastery and/or adaptation. Stupid, I know, but I turned one or the other off in a couple pugs and there wasn't much difference and not taking those 2 powers would let you add a couple powers that are enhance able and not have to remember to turn back on after a defeat. has anyone done this and how did it work out?

I am more about style than substance. i do use 1k cuts only because it looks so cool. My brute has died, because friends were watching me do my thing, instead of doing their jobs. I do use the combo system since you don't have to hit with every attack to execute. My favorite costume has a red and black katana that I could watch the streaks all day.

I was grinding several toons to 50, and every pug i joined had Dom on it that made everything so easy. When a bothersome dark/poison controller finally dinged, a fire/fire dom asked me what was next and i told them I didn't know. They suggested a dominator because there weren't many. Made a plant/martial next and played it until I got it t4'd.

Heroes start blue and stay blue. Villains start red and stay red. Let praetorian only choose rogue or vigilante if they leave Praetoria. Letting ATs mingle was one of the biggest mistakes COX made. End enhancement diversity. If I want to put 6 recharges in a nuke, let me.

I finally gave up on my empath offender. Solo was too hard and grouping while easy was boring. Sure I was pretty good at dps until a blaster or corruptor showed up. I've moved on to a elec/elec defender wish me luck.

If you are going uniform, i suggest you go human only peacebringer. It is possible, but you will need to group a lot and with the right ATs. I'm undertaking a human only warshade and it ain't easy.

There's nothing stopping a human warshade from taking fly. I don't have the best control over my teleports.

I've played a couple corruptors to 50, one was a sonic/pain. Kinda want to make a second defender and I know the grief empaths get, just want to see if there is a different better way.

Would be nice to see this thread updated to maybe November 2022, so i can see my next stupid idea.

I know I'm not the first, nor will I be the last, but trying to make a empath/dp offender. I'm not going to tell you where I'm at, other then lvl 22, to get ideas moving forward, or to see where I might have already made a mistake. Feel free to tell me I'm ice skating uphill because I might agree with you. If dual pistols was the wrong direction to start with let me know because it ain't to late to start over.

Made a Dark^3 offender that i had to keep blues in email to play. I finally learned how to play it, roundabout lvl 30. I prefer corruptors for support more than defenders.

Not yet and I'm not looking forward to it ever happening. I have tequila toons that I vaguely remember creating, but have no idea how they got to lvl 12. I have quite a few semi-retired toons that I've forgotten how to play. My 50 dark/poison controller is a lesson in humility everytime I play it.

the old afterburner speed boost was folded into fly, the new af is another boost added on top. I love SJ, but it ain't my favorite because i'm lazy and fly is so easy. I'd use TP more, but i had a bad experience with a rope bridge once. SS is great until you leave Praetoria.

Group of friends started on Goldside, one of them was a widow, since they only played together it didn't matter that contacts ignored her. They didn't get to enjoy all the content, as a group of 5 pretty much blew through everything. Funny 2 of the group went redside and three went blueside, still grouping though.

My dual blade brute is very different from my db stalker. They don't even get the same powers. Limit yourself to 2 combos and maybe one power that isn't in a combo. Anything that cons white or lower, I don't bother using combos just whatever is next in my chain. I also make sure, to get one thousand cuts, because it looks cool.

My dark/martial blaster has tanked for a group before. It is not easy, but as long as the baddies are in a tight group so that reaction time can get them all, I've been alright and as long as you keep hitting stuff, particularly with dark blast for the -to hit, everything should go smoothly if group mates do their jobs.

On Live,created an nrg/nrg blaster. I get into an old sewer run. We make it all the way to steel canyon exit. I'm lvl 9 or 10 feeling good about myself, finish training, but I don't slot any TO's. I can't hit the floor with spit until I notice I got a lot of these round things that look just like palm,face

My answer is move your toon to the beta server and try them all. I tend to go with Soul Mastery most of the time.

First toon is easy, it is my dark/martial blaster. I've blapped, sniped, even tanked with this toon. Second one is harder, especially since it has to be melee. Probably, my dual blade/elec brute. I've heard that staff has more style points than db, but i find that hard to believe.

This is a screenshot of a level 27 defender of mine. I got 3 toolbars and a lot of empty slots. This one is a 50 now and I've only added another toolbar for incarnates and to space things out a bit. I've seen up to 7 toolbars on some toons but numbered 1,2,4,5,7,8, and 9.,

I watch a few streams of Homecoming and I see some UIs that don't look even close to mine. Makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong. For example, I use 3 toolbars at most until lvl 50 then add a fourth for incarnates and clarification. Do you look at another toon or stream that makes you think "I'm doing something wrong"?

I think with Jack Emmert in charge it will look more Champions Online. Hopefully, Disney will keep him on a short leash and we get something other than a vendetta to kill COX and anything else associated with it.

In the past I believed that all the successors should band together and release something while they had an opportunity. That doesn't seem likely at all and with the announcement of a Marvel MMO coming, I think the sun has set on the lot of them. I don't know what that means for the possible legitimacy of Homecoming or continued existence of DCUO.

I recently gave up on a rad/sonic defender. Worked great on a team, but solo I might as well camp in a hospital.

I have a dark/poison controller that quite possibly be the worst time I've had with a toon. Only played it to give sg leader a break from playing her controller. If I'm determined I can 50 most ranged in a month, but that controller took me every second of 6 months.
