My dual blade brute is very different from my db stalker. They don't even get the same powers. Limit yourself to 2 combos and maybe one power that isn't in a combo. Anything that cons white or lower, I don't bother using combos just whatever is next in my chain. I also make sure, to get one thousand cuts, because it looks cool.

My dark/martial blaster has tanked for a group before. It is not easy, but as long as the baddies are in a tight group so that reaction time can get them all, I've been alright and as long as you keep hitting stuff, particularly with dark blast for the -to hit, everything should go smoothly if group mates do their jobs.

On Live,created an nrg/nrg blaster. I get into an old sewer run. We make it all the way to steel canyon exit. I'm lvl 9 or 10 feeling good about myself, finish training, but I don't slot any TO's. I can't hit the floor with spit until I notice I got a lot of these round things that look just like palm,face

My answer is move your toon to the beta server and try them all. I tend to go with Soul Mastery most of the time.

First toon is easy, it is my dark/martial blaster. I've blapped, sniped, even tanked with this toon. Second one is harder, especially since it has to be melee. Probably, my dual blade/elec brute. I've heard that staff has more style points than db, but i find that hard to believe.

This is a screenshot of a level 27 defender of mine. I got 3 toolbars and a lot of empty slots. This one is a 50 now and I've only added another toolbar for incarnates and to space things out a bit. I've seen up to 7 toolbars on some toons but numbered 1,2,4,5,7,8, and 9.,

I watch a few streams of Homecoming and I see some UIs that don't look even close to mine. Makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong. For example, I use 3 toolbars at most until lvl 50 then add a fourth for incarnates and clarification. Do you look at another toon or stream that makes you think "I'm doing something wrong"?

I think with Jack Emmert in charge it will look more Champions Online. Hopefully, Disney will keep him on a short leash and we get something other than a vendetta to kill COX and anything else associated with it.

In the past I believed that all the successors should band together and release something while they had an opportunity. That doesn't seem likely at all and with the announcement of a Marvel MMO coming, I think the sun has set on the lot of them. I don't know what that means for the possible legitimacy of Homecoming or continued existence of DCUO.

I recently gave up on a rad/sonic defender. Worked great on a team, but solo I might as well camp in a hospital.

I have a dark/poison controller that quite possibly be the worst time I've had with a toon. Only played it to give sg leader a break from playing her controller. If I'm determined I can 50 most ranged in a month, but that controller took me every second of 6 months.

My dark/martial blaster got great at melee after getting Burst of Speed and Reaction Time. Other primaries could work just as good maybe Sonic.

Just got done with a couple PUG'S this morning and it was great. +4/+8 groups that did at least a dozen missions with barely a hiccup. Not going to put anyone on blast, but if you had a good time from 8a-11a est that was fun.

I feel like my ui is so minimalist compared to some I've seen, makes me think i'm missing something.

The Wailers, those amphibian freakshows on steroids, they don't quit. I hate fighting them and I bet you do too, that's why I want to be one. Let me lay by the beach and not have anyone bother me.

I had fun with my SJ/SR stalker. Runners are definitely a problem when hidden, can turn off hide, but then you're just a scrapper without crit. Any reason you are choosing between martial and street justice, lot of good sets to choose from.

In Pocket D on the villain side is a panel van, the van is unimportant, but on top of the van is Null the gull he can do some amazing things for you and he doesn't charge a dime.

I can neither confirm or deny that tequila had anything to do with this build. Sonic/beam defender more debuff than 1 toon needs. I was lvl 10 before I noticed that I don't get a heal or rez and the range on beam is longer than my sentinels. Every time I yellow ring arcane bolt, I smile because something is going down. I'm still feeling my way with group dynamics. What powers should I avoid, at lvl 16 my slotting is still SOs and have no idea what IO sets I should be looking at, so any advice is appreciated.

My second fifty is a sonic/pain corrupter. Early on I used 3 heals rather often, aoe,st, and soothing aura. Endgame soothing aura is usually enough,I just keep the other 2 for emergencies. I got good use out of enforced morale,painbringer,and world of pain. I used share pain for a moment,I'm a blaster at heart and I'm not good at keeping an eye on my healthbar let alone others, so it had to go.

I have one concept lore pet, demons, that worked well with a look. Thankfully demons do good single target damage. All my other toons I pick randomly and no two are the same pick. Knives, Tsoo, Warworks, Longbow, got a few 50s that i haven't picked for yet.

I was wasting time on my dark/martial blaster yesterday when a friend started recruiting for a LRSF that wasn't a speed run. I join up with a couple defenders, a stalker, a corrupter, a scrapper, and a controller. Yeah, very interesting team, but nothing ventured, nothing gained and i'm not looking for anything. Long story short, I end up tanking BSB and Manticore plus stay on the frontline for all the other hero fights. Last mission Numina decides to make it her personal task to keep me dead. Team wipes twice before we complete at which point the scrapper says, "Blasters belong in the back." I clench my teeth, quit the sf, but here we are 12 hours later and I still here their words. I thought CoX had moved past this kind of talk. *plink, plink*

This isn't for me as mastermind's are beyond my abilities. Puppies and kittens would make great pets maybe a comedic animal control officer as Lt.

56 at the typing of this post. Been playing since before enhancement diversification ✊. Went away just before shutdown, been back almost 2 years. I remember when Happy Days was a short skit on Love American Style.
