  1. FYI you forgot to mention you can buy any of the sets with merits as well. Also there is no mention of the newer AT specific enhancements.
  2. It's quite easy to get money, just do your missions get a few merits and convert them to enhancement converters. Then sell at wentworths and your set. Also you can sell any rare salvage you find early game for a million influence a pop. 1-2 pieces of rare salvage can basically pay for ALL your IO's till you hit level 50. As for the pet looks will probably never happen. Just remember the team doing this did not make the game, and what you suggest while nice is 100% cosmetic, and requires a ton of work with animations that takes a lot of time and skilled work.
  3. Yep, just watch out for the handful of mobs (mostly end game) that can see thru it. I used to use SS + cloaking device on my ice/device blaster to plant trip mines at the feet of my enemies
  4. Except it is 100% without a doubt effecting everyone. It's already been confirmed that the AE missions use up FAAARR more resources then normal missions to the point that 1 AE mission might use the same resources as 20-25 normal missions. That is the reason the homecoming devs are against it, it LITERALLY kills the servers.
  5. https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/(Kheldian)_Essence_Transfer That Proc, says global so i think it activates on most attacks. I know how the other proc's work, that one just seems to behave a little different then i'm used to seeing
  6. Yes, they were, because AE farms were taxing the servers to a disproportionate degree and degrading the experience for everyone. Yep this. They were quite clear they were nerfed because the resources to run them were of a significantly higher amount then people running missions
  7. So with the recharge/global heal proc on it, when you slot that in a power does it only trigger when you use that power or when you use any power? It seems to be firing too often to just be based on the 1 power but i'm not sure.
  8. Unless im mistaken don't you just buy the normal non superior version of it and an Enhancement Catalyst to make the superior version?
  9. You also have to remember there really isnt anything you can't do at 50 that you can do at lower levels with the way exemplaring works. Not to mention you also get xp and drops towards your incarnate powers if your doing it at 50.
  10. Yeah that's why I was asking. So much has changed, but im glad to know at least Catalysts and incarnate mats will drop even if i'm exempleraing down to help friends.
  11. So purple recipes only drop when fighting lvl 50+ content?
  12. This is a theoretical build to work towards. I am 50 now and in the process of slotting it up and working on my incarnates. I did make some tweaks so ill update it later with moving slots out of stygian return into health because the proc's won't fire in stygian return I believe. I also dropped unchain essence as it was redundant with the amount of AoE I had and my recharge.
  13. I'm kinda torn on this too. With the 2 mires damage in big groups isnt that hard, and more survability is great. With eclipse on a warshade we can already cap our resists pretty well in large teams and recharge would let us keep that capped and let us fire our bigger hits more often.
  14. So once you hit 50 you unlock incarnate drops, and it looks like stuff like Enhancement Catalysts can start to drop. Will those drops continue if you exemp down to lower levels? Basically is there anything that stops dropping when exemplared down?
  15. Also classes like Warshades can do a ton of AoE damage, strong single target damage, control, tank, etc. So they can a ton of damage to a group as well.
  16. The Crab soldiers can get pets, and I believe they have a range of melee attacks and options available so that would be your best bet.
  17. Just use commons! No need for sets until much later in the game, unless there is a very specific something like KB/KN you might want to get. IMO, it's just a waste to do more than plain IOs, and upgrade here and there, until way later. On this version, it will be easier to move them around, but still. Just my pennies. Agreed, don't waste money on sets until your at end game. They arent needed for leveling.
  18. The best bang for your buck is to use level 25 IO's at 22. They are nearly the same effectiveness as SO's and will easily last you until you hit 50. Then you can slot higher level IO's as you can for newer slots. It's a complete waste to use SO's and you will spend FAR more in the long run then you would by making IO's.
  19. Actually converters are 1/3 merit each. So same ratio. 5 merits nets you 15 which sell for ~200k each or 3 mil. It's the first thing i do on my toons with first arc. Covers my initial set of IO's for every toon and its very easy to fully gear them in level 25 IO's as soon as I hit 22.
  20. You haven't reached 50 yet, have you? Cause I promise you, the cash flow problems do not stop there... There is a big difference between struggling to have enough to slot powers, and struggling to have enough to slot best in slot enhancements. It's not hard to get recipes or money even before level 50. It's incredibly easy in fact. It just gets very expensive when you start to slot/buy/craft all your end game sets.
  21. Walk is already there. As for the rest check the P2W vendor. Most if not all are sold there.
  22. Because it takes that AT forever to kill the bosses? You play to your role. Stalkers and single target heroes target bosses and dangerous enemies like sappers while the AOE guys clear the room. The bosses need to die, and 1 boss gives more xp then 25 junk mobs so the bosses are valuable. The entire point of the team is you should each play to your strengths. So by the time those aoe guys are clearing the trash you should have the boss nearly dead.
  23. I will give it a shot! I confess I've been vendoring set recipes for stun, sleep, fear, etc., on the theory that people slot everything for damage, damage, and more damage. There is no need to as you can buy any IO non set recipe straight from the crafting table.
  24. Yep and any set recipe can be bought with merits.
