I had a dream that I once lived on Champion, then I woke up on Excelsior.

Everything seems to be up and running in Excelsior.

The Myrmidon has made the change from Tanker to a Kin/WP Brute. The animations look a lot like spell-casting, which can be supplemented by a great deal of powers for Magic concepts for a Sorcerer. Also, I told many of my friends nine years ago that, if Brutes were available as Heroes at the start, I never would have been a Tanker. Now, I get to keep my word.

I have a DP/WP waiting in the wings, however, you just may have convinced me to try a new Gunkata combo.

We have no way of knowing the odds at the moment. Here's what we KNOW: NCSoft knows we exist. A group is talking to NCSoft regarding the existence of private servers. So far NCSoft has taken no action against private servers. So far NCSoft has made no official statement to any of the news outlets reporting on the existence of private servers. Decision could go either way at this point. We might lose everything we've have here. However, the code is in the wild now. If this, or any other, server gets shut down, either it will rise again under a new name, perhaps a little more quietly, or if not... another will take its place. Starting from scratch (with eight years of practical play experience) in this format run by people that actually care about the game for more than monetary means: Priceless.

Welcome to the only place to be. My suggestion is to avoid double XP, running the sewer trial more than once or anything that levels your character too quickly. This game is about the journey and the first time through really is better at a normal pace. Once you have things down, then those other options are more viable.

Now that we have our influence issues taken care of, my crew will definitely over there. What we learned from playing before was that we only wanted to suffer Influence issues the very first time through, then every character we own benefits.

With donations being filled up around 30 minutes the last time they were open and only being used for server costs, I’m certain that they will easily be able to handle the population.

Since we can attune them, levels for sets don’t matter as much. Merits are easy enough to come by, plus you can trade attuned enhancements now.
