  1. Only xXBudweiserXx would make a mistake like that.
  2. If I may ask, which server are you playing on?
  3. This. To the point that I’m replacing the non attuned ones Or you can Catalyst them.
  4. Last Thursday, I was in a Manticore (with a Corruptor) that was moments from server maintenance, so I turned on my stealth and ran to Hopkins. I jumped behind a crate where a Paragon Protector defeated me, however, I had a single self-Rez temp charge, so I punched it and got back into the game. I Teleported in an Invul Sentinel (our Tanker was fighting in spawns), pulled in the Dark Corruptor whole the Sentinel took aggro and once the Dark Debuffs were up, ported in the rest of the team. We finished with roughly 30-seconds to spare (After seeing the durability of that Sentinel, I promptly hopped on my Water/WP Sentinel for most of the day ;D). Sometimes you get fun teammates, sometimes you get some that aren’t. Your experience sounds like you’ve definitely found a candidate for the Ignore list.
  5. Agreed. To all of you that have brought our home back to life, I thank you.
  6. Choosing both is the answer that you seek.
  7. I am glad that you mentioned this one.
  8. I prefer to headcanon it as being that my mere presence is enough to improve everyone's teamwork/coordination enough to help give everyone around me that little bit extra situational awareness that it becomes slightly harder to injure any of us (within aura radius). Maybe not so much "leadership" and more a matter of "synchronicity" instead. Or if you prefer ... Better Fight Choreography ... ^_~ Nice. It’s mastery of Magics for me.
  9. Shhh. Let people have their illusions.
  10. Myrmidon

    Knockdown City

Although it has been mentioned by several others here, the option can not be stressed enough. The Sudden Acceleration Knockback to Knockdown IO makes any Knockback power into Knockdown. This give you a great many build options.
  11. It looks like permanent double Influence after level 99.
  12. Fear not...I'm not leaving. There is nothing out there that can pull me away from this game. This.
  13. They smell funny.
  14. If you’re building Defense, then Maneuvers is the best option for you to start with. It may be a small bonus, however, stacking bonuses is what gets you to Defense soft-cap (and beyond if you find it necessary). You also give the bonus from Maneuvers to your entire team. From an RP perspective, think of it as you helping to either take the hits for your team or using your reflexes to interpose for them.
  15. I am going to try out a build with all of the Fighting Pool attacks and Brawl, I just haven’t yet decided on powersets.
  16. When I am looking for a PUG Task Force, the Chat goes something like this: DFB DFB DFB DFB DIB Random looking for team DFB TF DFB DFB DFB DFB
  17. Today, to finish off the basics for my last set of alts, I converted 14 level 20 Miracle uniques for less than 30 million using merits, some cheap salvage (most of which came from storage bins) and uncommon Healing recipes. The monetary value is what the merits-to-converters would be if I just sold them on the market. I have no complaints about this system.
  18. Myrmidon would be played by Rhona Mitra.
  19. IMO, the intangible here is what you have pointed out - CoH was made with passion for the end product, not the rewards for creating it. When you have that great meal, play that great game, etc., the ones you remember are the ones 'made with love'. Humans can make magic. Another way to say it is... CoH: developers tried to make a great game that they, and hopefully a lot of others, would love, and hopefully make some money off of it. CO: Developers designed the game to make a lot of money, and hopefully it was fun, too... CoH was designed primarilly to be a great game, CO was designed to maximize profits. A lot of games these days are making the same mistake. How much money can we bleed out of our costumers? Not, lets make a great game and the players will come. Blizzard (WoW), created a great game, blew up to 12 million subscribers. Then Blizzard decided to maximize profits per player, and lost 80+% of them since. Build a great game, they will come.... Build a money sink, they will not stay. I wouldnt say CO was designed to maximize profits, at least at launch, to maximise profits you want as many people as possible but instead they made a weird parody niche of a superhero MMO with styling that would alienate a good portion of the potential customers as well, as subs collapsed THEN they tried to squeeze the remaining loyal playerbase for every cent they could get with cash shop junk. That “cash shop junk” had Store Bought IO sets, which allowed me to completely avoid the Invention system on live, so it wasn’t all that bad.
  20. In case you didn’t know, you can start that one solo if you wish, just be prepared for the down sizes.
  21. Didn’t know that. Thank you very much for the tip.
  22. Why are you doing this to another thread about the market? The market is currently an absolute mess. The lower tier IOs aren't worth crafting because the higher tier IOs are selling for so cheap courtesy of converters. How is that a mess exactly? Everything's affordable, money's easy to make. Everybody's alts are happily getting slotted without weeks of farming and marketing and saving. Seems like the opposite of a mess. It’s just this side of Store Bought IOs, so it’s near perfect.
  23. Why are you doing this to another thread about the market? The market is currently an absolute mess. The lower tier IOs aren't worth crafting because the higher tier IOs are selling for so cheap courtesy of converters. You do know that the market converts IOs into the level range that you bid on, right?
