  1. Looks good. Must investigate further.

    /Super Reflexes

Now, you make me want to try out SR on a Sentinel.
  3. You’ll want to look at the Numina, Miracle and Performance Shifter Procs to help out with any Endurance issues. 150 merits is pretty easy to come by these days.
  4. Those of us that started Tanker Tuesday way back when are forming one on Excelsior. I’ll check with the others on the details and get back to you soon.
  5. Good to know, because the information on Catalysts said ATOs. Looks like it’s no longer time to be concerned with the level of any recipes that I find. Thanks for the answer.
  6. If at all possible, making all IO sets attuned would be a fine QoL addition to this game.
  7. See you around Excelsior, Knight.
  8. Mine first memory is constant crashing with a system running 256k of RAM. I immediately learned how to add RAM to my computer.
  9. Not just newbies. Back before shutdown, I was on an ITF with a parent and their five-year-old kid (the kid was doing a decent job of contributing to the TF, too), and the parent made the comment that City of Heroes was the only MMO that they would let their kid play unsupervised, because they knew that they wouldn't get taken advantage of. That one comment has stuck with me as the best demonstration of what the playerbase was like. And we are still like that.
  10. Apology accepted, Captain Needa.
  11. Ok, this is interesting. So its worth it to form a personal one just for trading resources between alts? That definitely makes sense but kinda removes the point of trying to find a big one I guess. Is there really no raids at end game that makes sense to be in a SG for or is it all just pug'd with CoH? Was never involved in high level play before so maybe I just have this weird idea that CoH would operate like other MMO's. It most definitely does not, no worries. When enough people reach Incarnate level, you will see plenty of raid groups to easily join.
  12. Just to elaborate on something people may have missed here: All the salvage is in pools, not individual stacks. All the Common salvage in one pool, the Uncommon in another and Rare yet another. If you sell a Spell Scroll, someone might be buying that as a Luck Charm, Masterwork Weapon or Inanimate Carbon Rod. I also happen to think that placing a cap/backstop (at least for a time) on the max you have to pay for salvage will help, and it'll stop the kind of shenanigans that got played with salvage prices back on live. I can remember those all too well, thanks... This is an excellent fix to one of the things that I was asking for almost a decade ago, which would have been a more generic build what you like IO system. When they told me that it would take six months to code and they didn’t want to do that instead of making new content, I just moved over to SBOs. Whoever made this change needs to have a statue in Paragon City.
  13. I see two reasons. 1. As an easy way to pool resources with friends, especially here in the beginning. 2. Nostalgia.
  14. Interesting. This is almost as good as the old SBOs.
  15. Dark Astoria was changed in to that. :) Dark Astoria was just a starting point. Adding Incarnate content equal to Going Rogue ( which should have been incarnate content) is more of what I would prefer.
  16. The sole Quality of Life feature that I would love is for all of the IO sets to be turned into attuned sets. I remember the Devs once said that this was possible; is there any way that this could be done?
  17. That's the site where I learned how to do it. I just went with the first instructions, the Freedom VM, and it all worked fine though I have a Core I7 based system. You can use the same client on your PC to connect to both the local game server or a public game server, just by setting up the correct shortcut links. The bottom line is that by now, thousands have the game running on their own PC's and it will always be out there. It can no longer be stopped. NC Soft could pay one of its lawyers to draft a comprehensive Cease and Desist letter to every public server host that pops up out of this, but it will cost them real time and money to actually enforce that should those letters go ignored. And since they're not making a profit off the game right now, they gain nothing, so it would most likely not be worth it. We won. HAIL HYDRA!
  18. The LLC could always have its own bank account to make things easier later down the line.
  19. “It was here that I learned that there can be no true despair without hope.”
  20. Welcome home, Trooper-CDK001. See you around on Excelsior.
  21. Looking at the amount of time going into posts like these, I have to stop myself from constantly asking why people aren’t just playing instead. It must be terrible not to be able to play at work.
  22. Now that the code is out there in the wild, this place will never die. If there is a shutdown, it can easily reappear. HAIL HYDRA!
  23. Too bad we don’t have an App for this. I would love to work on builds away from the computer.
  24. At least you know their security works.😁
  25. Incarnate zones so that we can play through our Incarnate levels instead of the raiding grind.
