  1. Whatever, if SR is a tank set, then EA deserves it even more, and Regen, I think could handle it with it's higher HP, it's regen would be tremendous.

  4. Dammit, see what you did? now I have to roll one myself *shakes fist* Ice isn't so bad, Freezing Touch is amazing, and Frozen Aura is a good AOE
  5. Oh and BTW you can use the old Blaster tanking Recluse trick: Just hover out of his range and keep sniping him, idk you might even be able to put enough +range into Confront and do this too.
  6. Like Nightmarer said above, Dark Melee is great. Other alternatives IMO would be: Psionic Ice Radiation
  7. IMO I wouldn't want to take Electric Melee for an AV hunt, I'd take most sets over that, KM, Psi, Ice, DM, IDK anything
  8. There other combos that work well too, I have no trouble with +4x8 on my War Mace/Shield, so you could easily try /Shield with and of the following melee powers Psionic Radiation War Mace Electricity
  9. EASIEST FIX - cut buff values in half, get rid of any crash, allow double stacking, that way there is a point to double stacking, and actually encourages it, allowing players to reach customary SS levels, and also that way it rewards higher-end builds that have more recharge. Then buff: Jab - quicker animation more dmg - Like KM's Quick Strike or DM's Shadow Punch Change Hand Clap into a power equal to Proton Sweep, or Psi Blade Sweep or Jacob's Ladder and give it Smashing and "Sonic" Energy with a little -res debuff. That will bring the set up to the current standards. *edit - In fact, for Jab just use the Psionic Melee Mental Strike animation without all the extra mental art.
  10. How helpful/useful is this new power, Cauterizing Blaze? Does this heal toggle make an impact? How noticeable?
  11. Some sort of Toggle seems like a very legit option. Another may be to make Rage into something akin to Soul Drain.

    Rad/Rad Brute

    Shield works great too Oh and Rad Melee....maybe it's me but I want to love it, but in my experience (a 30 something Brute and Stalker) it stinks (there I said it). I keep trying to like it but I swear the animations are longer than printed, the animation for Rad Siphon does not fit the power, the early AOE is so underwhelming, the heal is unreliable, and funny enough it doesn't even sound like it hits hard. IMO try Psi it's so much better, or Staff, or Kinetic Melee/Rad would be a good combo.

  15. Depends on your build. If you are looking for def then cold, if not Flame is good. If you want it themed, MAce or Munitions.
  16. Full Auto has a very narrow cone, only a 20 degree arc. Personally, I'd rather use DP, much easier to use. But Water is probably AOE King (and best all-around set) followed by Fire.
  17. Honestly, for that, you may want to go Brute just because of the higher HP. If not then Scrapper it is: Scrapper AT IO Sets (Moar Crits) + IO dmg bonuses + assault + Musculature + follow up = you will hit harder with the Scrapper.

  20. The previous post makes valid points, ditch the kinetic combat. Add some recharge that's your key to staying alive, keeping your absorption powers up, and your heal up as often as possible. Ditch Mental strike it's garbage.   25. No, since Bio doesn't have any Resistance to -Def, as a "tank" that defense will mean almost nothing after a hit or two from a Cimerorian Sword or a Rad attack, or whatever. It will cascade to 0 quickly. More recharge and HP and Resists to buffer the activation time and player reaction time for heals is where the budget should be spent on Bio IMHO. For me w/o even trying I soft capped E/NE/F/C. Both Bobcat and Buffed up STF-Recluse can two shot you in two seconds. Although when I fought both of those I only had SOs and Quills was my only IO slotted power. I will have to revisit them now. I don't have End issues. I run about 90% of the time in offensive and occasionally switch to defensive. Pretty much never efficient since the early levels b4 IOs. It's just that build has only 1.3 more end-recovery a second than toggle usage, so it seems low to me, I usually shoot for at least 2. Spine burst gets you locked in a long animation with only a little slowing as mitigation... For me, it's very situational, ie when you are surrounded. I get A LOT more mileage out of Ripper and Throw Spines. Ripper is good for AOE and ST with a wide arc (90), and a lot more damage. So if you want to take down a boss, EB or AV I would think having your best ST attack is important. 8)
