  1. Rather than removed, it would be nice if it were and option (along the lines of Swap Ammo or Staff Mastery) we could select whether we want KB or KD. The biggest problem with KB in my experience is all of the geometry errors throughout the game on various maps. Enemy NPCs get knocked into the geometry and get stuck.
  2. The only things I would change about Empathy is to convert CM from single target to AoE so it is applied to anyone in range, and reduce the truly absurd long recharge time on Resurrect. Other than those two things, I think Empathy is fine as is. It is a very fun and very beneficial set to have on lower level content. Most all support sets in general suffer from the same issue in my opinion - they become superfluous at higher levels. That may change now that focus is being put into higher difficulty settings and content.
  3. This sorting and organizing can already be achieved using the existing objects. Cosmetics are dependent on whether the builder(s) want to display the beacons or hide them. I think it preferable to have single teleporter objects that are automatically tied to every zone as that eliminates placing any beacons and multiple teleporter objects. Essentially, just take the LRT code and attach it to a teleporter base object instead of a power icon. Just my personal preference, but I would like to see future base editor work focus on reducing item counts. On the very remote chance new objects are added to the editor, someone is in there anyway to add the new items. Updating tags can be done at that time.
  4. This has nothing to do with asking for instant level 50s. People will ask for this regardless. Instant level 50s via Temporal Warriors were already implemented for PvP players. Surely that is more of a "slippery slope" than what the OP is suggesting. I agree there are already ways to achieve what the OP is asking for, which makes the request ultimately a moot point.
  5. Systems such as converting EMP merits to Transcendent Merits to be shared among characters on an account were put into place specifically to help reduce some level of tedium. The aforementioned Temporal Warriors were put into place to reduce some level of tedium. Perhaps I am misunderstanding here, but I do not see anyone suggesting that players should get instant level 50s here.
  6. As determined by the player controlling the character, yes. You seem confused. I understand that and I agree, there is not really a need for another method. I have not suggested otherwise.
  7. You are certainly welcome to your opinion. If this is what someone would like to have for use running increased difficulty content, more power to them. I personally do not see an issue here. Temporal Warriors were added to make creating PvP specific characters easier. As several others have mentioned in this thread, EMP merits can be converted into Transcendent Merits and shared among alts. Those things are specifically there to make things easier.
  8. They can be part of it, sure. I never suggested they were the one and only tedious activity for alts if that is what you are attempting to infer.
  9. Would love for these lava objects to be ported over to the base editor some day.
  10. I personally would prefer they take their time and find the right people to be involved rather than moving forward quickly.
  11. The character is controlled by the player who may have already unlocked and crafted T4 incarnates on dozens, if not hundreds, of characters. At some point, that does get old and is more tedium for tedium's sake.
  12. Thank you!!! I love you three thousand. 🥰🥰🥰
  13. Confirming this. The Circling Shark object seems to have disappeared from the editor.
  14. If on the off chance we ever do get new objects in the base editor, would it be possible to attach a #New keyword to them? Would make it much easier to find anything new via the search and negate the necessity for an additional tab solely to list new items.
  15. I just checked this. Objects that generate both power and control (eg. Generators, Ley Tap etc.) are listed in the Base Services tab. I do not see a need to list the objects that only generate control in Base Services as base power and control are no longer separate systems. Objects that were specific to generating control only, like Monitor Banks and such are more decorative now given that power and control are both covered by tech and arcane power generation objects. I think the tab organization is fine as is. There will likely never be a consensus from everyone on how the editor tabs should be organized. Those who are new to building will familiarize themselves with the tabs. Making use of the search and Info tab are what will be most helpful. For me, more often than not I am using the search to find an object since I already know the name(s) and it saves me from scrolling through tabs.
  16. Thank you for these. I tried the new and improved editor on Test and the search works very well. The re-organized tabs are a blessing and the removal of the star texture on surface tiles will be very handy for decorative use. If I may, would it be possible to get a set of teleporter objects that already have all in-game location beacons attached to them? This would really help cut down on the need for adding multiple teleporter objects in a base. It would also be wonderful if we could have more in-base teleport points.
  17. I agree and would say far more miss than hit. Leonard Nimoy had some thoughts on this that I think relevant.
  18. I watched this a few nights ago. It was ok. Nothing special, nothing terrible and about what I had expected. A highlight was the set design which was beautifully done and impressive. With exception to Pedro Pascal, the casting was well done. I just cannot take Pedro Pascal seriously as Reed Richards. Ralph Ineson was a perfect choice for Galactus and captured the character very well. Vanessa Kirby was great as Sue Storm. Overall not terrible, but not great either. I would give this an average score. It was leaps and bounds better than CA: BNW and The Marvels, but certainly a step down from early MCU offerings.
  19. I personally do not believe cosmetic items or non-combat pets should be something hidden behind a grind wall. It is a huge turnoff for me.
  20. I suspect you are right and that the main reason is more one than the other. I very, very rarely see Labrynth runs being advertised in LFG, at least on Excelsior. I have run around and explored the Labrynth a few times myself solo, but I have not bothered trying to solo the Minotaur.
  21. No doubt. This is the nature of software, for better or worse. I would not at all be surprised if there were already ways to circumvent this program.
