"HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Dec. 5, 2025 -- Today, Netflix, Inc. (the Company) and Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. (WBD) announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Netflix will acquire Warner Bros., including its film and television studios, HBO Max and HBO." Full article - https://about.netflix.com/en/news/netflix-to-acquire-warner-bros Very curious to see how this plays out with regard to the James Gunn DCU projects as there are quite a lot of rumors floating around that both Gunn and Saffron will be out.

Agreed! The rewards simply are not worth the extra tedium in my opinion. These settings did not make any of the content harder, just more tedious.

Avengers: Doomsday - Full Cast Announcement
ShardWarrior replied to ZacKing's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
To be honest, I am really not that excited for this movie. I just do not see it as saving the MCU at this point. -
Why no modes on Stalker Staff?
ShardWarrior replied to CoeruleumBlue's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Because having BU is far better than the forms, at least in my opinion. -
New Stargate Coming to Amazon Prime
ShardWarrior replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
This is a concern for me as well, although I am cautiously optimistic. As the video shows and @ThaOGDreamWeaver mentions above, having Brad Wright and Joe Mallozzi involved gives me some hope. I am very much hoping Amazon has learned the lesson that sticking to canon and not insulting the built in fan base is the way to go. -
Godzilla Suite II | Godzilla Minus One (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Great fun listening to this while playing melee and fighting hoards of mobs! 👍

I was running the Operation: World Wide Red arc and came to the "Catch the shape-shifer Moment" mission. In the last room where Moment is located, once you enter the room, a couple of the Malta NPCs will randomly disappear and re-appear in the hallway on the opposite side of the room. Map and location for where Moment spawns and where the NPCs teleported from: Zone/Mission: Office_60_Layout_03_02 Position: [2630.6 72.0 1491.9] Map and location where the NPCs teleported to: Zone/Mission: Office_60_Layout_03_02 Position: [2525.3 54.0 1474.8] This happens more often than not on this mission and on this map in particular. I would estimate this happens more the 90% of the time.

New Stargate Coming to Amazon Prime

I know right?? They cannot leave it end this way! SGU is criminally underrated in my opinion. Beautiful piece of music at the end. -
If a new DFB/DIB trial was added…
ShardWarrior replied to Sakura Tenshi's topic in General Discussion
Personally, I would prefer another SBB Double Feature before another DFB, DIB. These are some very cool ideas in this thread though! 👍 -
Paramount Moving On from Kelvin Timeline Trek

These may or may not be true, but reports are cropping up that Kurtzman is out from Star Trek. Take it with a grain of salt until rumors are confirmed or not. I will say that if this is indeed true, hallelujah! It will indeed be a great day when the utter sewage of the Kurtzman era is erased from canon and forgotten. -
Amazon MGM Studios has greenlit a new Stargate series for Prime Video! It will be an all new series. I must admit, I am giddy to hear the original crew is going to be involved! I would love for them to do a proper series finale for SGU.

Again, old Anniversary badges can only be purchased from a vendor. That is the only way to obtain them. Most every other badge in the game does not require purchase from a vendor and has to be earned by completing an in-game activity. There is a crystal clear distinction.

Listen to Feedback: Sonic Melee Not Ready
ShardWarrior replied to Wravis's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I mean this with all due respect as I can empathize you are upset with how you feel things are handled here, but you can quite clearly see the inflated sense of entitlement in this response. Your analogy here is that everyone who ate the restaurant did not like the food. Some people might have liked the food. Some people may see the potential in the menu and will give the restaurant time to make adjustments after they have opened. What about their positive feedback? Or are you suggesting that ONLY the people who did not care for the menu are deserving to be listened to and their feedback is more important than anyone else? This is exactly what you are suggesting here. Your time was not wasted. You tested the set and provided your feedback. You have done your part. HC did not listen to you and that is what is upsetting you. You may want to consider that shouting into the wind is not helping and you are not going to get the results you are after, most likely ever. -

If you can point to a post where a GM or HC member specifically told you not to post your opinion, please do share it. I have yet to see the exact words "do not post your opinion" by them. The fact that your thread is still here with GM and HC replies is evidence that your assertion is incorrect. You are absolutely most welcome to hold that view in my opinion. It may surprise you that I completely agree with your sentiment. With that said, I learned long ago that this group, for better or worse, will do what they want no matter what our feedback is. Your thread here and the general feeling behind it is not anything new and is a viewpoint many have expressed over the years. What I propose to you is that perhaps accept the fact that this is how HC works and they are not going to change their way of doing things. You may save yourself a lot of future aggravation. Taking that out on HC and others does not seem to be helping or having the result you are after. -
Listen to Feedback: Sonic Melee Not Ready
ShardWarrior replied to Wravis's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
No one has suggested that people should not voice their concerns. No one. What has been said in this regard and what "if you do not like it, do not play it" actually means is that all of the complaints and forum posts and rantings about Attune or whatever other complaints have not convinced HC to change their minds. The set is going to be released as is and will be addressed at a later date. HC holds all the cards here and they are not going to budge. They have a schedule they want to keep and they are going to stick to it, simple as that. There is no changing it at this point, so further complaining is not solving anything, and at least to me looks as if this has done little more than to cause HC dig their heels in. Until such time the set is fixed later, you have the option to play the set or not. If you want to keep shouting into the wind hoping someone will hear you, go right ahead. Personally, I do not see it moving the dial. -
There is no slippery slope. The badges in question are already only obtainable by purchasing them with merits from a vendor. All the suggestion is for is to lift the narrow window of when they are available for purchase. That is a very far cry from "make all badges purchasable".

Paramount Moving On from Kelvin Timeline Trek
ShardWarrior replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Correct. Quite clearly shows like Discovery and Strange New Worlds were made for an audience that did not include me, so I did not watch them. Nor did I demand the producers listen to my feedback. I did not cry and stomp my feet and whine on the Star Trek forums complaining to the producers that they did not listen to me. I very much doubt anyone involved with the production of Star Trek visits these forums. I just did not watch the programs. It really is not more difficult than that. Again, please contain your inflated sense of entitlement and your issues with the HC people in the Sonic Melee thread. There is no need to derail this thread with it. Thank you. -
Paramount Moving On from Kelvin Timeline Trek
ShardWarrior replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Correct. If it is not to my liking, I will not watch it, just as I stopped watching Discovery after its first season. See how simple that is? Please contain your inflated sense of entitlement in the Sonic Melee thread. No need to play the wounded puppy. -
Recommendations for Reworking Badges
ShardWarrior replied to CoeruleumBlue's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I have no disagreement here. I was merely speculating that perhaps badges are not the great incentive that some feel they are. I fully admit I have no idea on whether this is true for anyone. I was just thinking out loud. No disagreement here either. -
Listen to Feedback: Sonic Melee Not Ready
ShardWarrior replied to Wravis's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
There are many sets that under-perform compared to others. It has not stopped people from playing them. Bugs that take out a server or crash the game? Absolutely those should be addressed quickly. Those that are not earth shattering? They can most likely wait. Correct. The HC folks have asked for player feedback. Some have done their due diligence and thoroughly tested the new content as best they could and provided feedback. Whether or not the HC people decide to take that feedback into account is absolutely entirely up to them. It seems to me the confusion with these posts that crop up every time new things are released for testing stems from people who appear to have a strong sense of entitlement. HC is under no obligation to make changes based on every piece of feedback the players provide. HC is not a commercial product. There is no money for profit changing hands, so there is no strong incentive to keep a paying customer base happy. It does not need any of us here. We are nice to haves, not necessities. We can all disappear tomorrow and the HC team will still have their servers for themselves, friends, family and those still interested playing the game. They can turn off all servers any time they like. It seems to me that the HC folk have acknowledged that Sonic Melee is not in the best state it can be, but will release it as is and fix it later. What more are you looking for them to do? If it is not going to crash the server, then let them release it. If they do or not fix it later is up to them. Correct. It really is not more difficult than that. -
Listen to Feedback: Sonic Melee Not Ready
ShardWarrior replied to Wravis's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The HC folks can set their own schedule though. They determine how much or how little time they want to take. This is no longer a commercial product, so there is no need to rush things out, especially if they are in an unfinished state. If that is what they want to do, then they certainly are welcome to do so. As I said earlier, those who do not like the new set do not have to play it. -
Paramount Moving On from Kelvin Timeline Trek
ShardWarrior replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
I disagree. It is a bad thing and please, no more reboots. Star Trek had a very successful 18 year television run from 1987 to 2005 creating new series with new characters with their own stories to tell. We do not need yet another rehash of TOS or TNG. -
Paramount Moving On from Kelvin Timeline Trek
ShardWarrior replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Like most of the slop that J.J. Abrams writes, neither of these were an original idea. They were very poorly contrived rehashes of far superior characters and stories that had been done before. The basic foundation of the setting may be in place (eg. future, Federation, Starfleet etc.) That is a very long way from the other world building and character development that needs to take place. Look at the growth of the characters on TNG/DS9/VOY over seven years and 4 years on ENT. That is a very tall order to fill in a single film.
