You're adding in that perception that he wants it to be some elite accomplishment to be part of some imaginary 1%. Some people just like the grind. That comes across as very selfish and petty. Because some people don't like it, nobody can have the option? The OP isn't asking for equal treatment or anything approaching that. Just a few crumbs. This is a very doable request, but for some reason only one side's preferences matter?

I think there should be a compromise on this topic, which you appear unwilling to do. 95-99% of stuff would still be unlocked from the start for those that want it, with very little being gated for those that prefer the unlock grind. Why those people prefer the grind isn't important and shouldn't require any explanation or justification, that's what they enjoy. Assuming the development team is willing, those people deserve to have their preferences met as much as anyone else. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

I disagree here, limitations force people to be more creative and innovative. Working with restrictions to accomplish a goal encourages people to take different approaches and consider options they normally wouldn't. That doesn't mean everybody does or should enjoy various restrictions, especially if they are arbitrary. But I fundamentally disagree that it is a limit on creativity. I think a better way to phrase it would be a limit on expression of creativity, but even then I don't think that is either a good or bad thing by default.

Stalker would definitely get you the quickest start because of Hide. But after slotting a stealth IO or getting invisible, I think the difference between Stalkers, Scrappers, and Blasters would be negligible. If merit farming is the goal over XP, then all three would be great choices to destroy -1x1 content. Electric Melee Stalker I think could be fun for this, as well as a Fire Blaster. I think salvage would be the biggest bottleneck, so I'm very interested in how you decide to deal with that.

I think badges would be the most effective way to accomplish the goal. If it's too much for some people, they could just skip those badges.

The last three weeks I've only logged in to market. I'd like to have 50 billion, seems like a good goal. But that's gonna take a while.

Sometimes when forming a TF, if I'm not 100% we'll steamroll, I'll say something like, "As long as we're not wiping, do whatever you want. If we start to struggle I'll ask us to stay together a little more." This takes care of about 99% of problems.

Knockdown doesn't send enemies flying back which is what a good chunk of people want. I oppose adding any additional benefits to knockdown since it would just encourage more people to whine about knockback and kick/exclude people that use it. I am extremely against adding stun to KD, it is more than good enough already.

I do that too sometimes, but then that means I can't post my enhancements. I suppose I could split these particular niches between two characters. I like this. We could name the thread Ebil Wednesdays. And whoever gets around to starting the thread each week can pick a lame and/or awesome subtitle! The Ebil League of Ebilness, love it.

I summed up your replies so the post isn't very long. You've demonstrated time and time again you have no idea what you're talking about, this is irrefutable. I won't reply directly to you again on this topic unless you bring something of substance to the discussion, which you have yet to do, so I don't think you can. Cold or Time with good debuffs and buffs might be the best choices. Buffed up Lord Recluse is a good challenge for two people. The Brute having most resists capped or near with you putting them over the defense soft cap would be a good way to go.

I feel like this is still going to happen despite your clarification. Personally I'd use that to my advantage. Say something that comes across as a huge nerf, then when you do the small nerf you always intended, people will think you compromised and did what they wanted. Sure some will call that manipulation, but I think of it more as "Expectation Management." -
All I know is that I've watched Bad Boys 2 more recently than Godfather 2. It was only by a week, but still.

Nobody has the video skills of Michael Bay, or directorial talent. Bad Boys 2 > Godfather 2!!!!!!!!! Maybe if we spent time playing the game instead of faking videos, we'd be able to make a real video some day?

It took @jshmoe1236123 a long time to edit that video. Plus we also had to start a thread in Scrapper forums and have that discussion to give our fake video a good cover to make it more believable. Making a two hour and 47 minute video took about four times that long, but it was totally worth it to fake out the community.

I'm totally on board with that. I'd make defenders just to do this for shits and giggles. I'd also crack up if I was fighting an AV or large mob with a Scrapper and the kin gave me Speed Boost and I went flying.
