Lots of fun tonight on Everlasting. We ran two Hess TFs (thanks for leading PLV and MsA) and one Numina's. Thanks to all on my team who had access to zones list (I never remember them). After the TFs we were able to join up with the remaining Tanks from the other TFs and take on a Kronos Titan (Thanks MsA)! This Sat, we're on Reunion at 9:30 AM. Next week we're on Indom, at the usual Tanker Tuesday Time. The 29th we're back on Everlasting for our "5th" Tuesday Event, a MSR. You'll need to be level 35 and have the Vanguard Badge. Also a means of flight, and ranged damage, holds, or immobs are helpful in taking down the dropship. Meet in King's Row at the usual time. This will be an instanced event. We'll have a zone coordinator making sure we all make it into the raid.

Good run tonight on Torch. Three teams, two Citadel TFs and one missions team. Thanks for running the missions team MsA and thanks to PLV for taking the other Cit. 8/15 We're on Everlasting. Meet in King's Row at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT. Also, 8/29 we're on Everlasting for a "5th Tuesday" MSR. You'll need to be level 35+ and have the Vanguard Badge (it will be instanced). See ya' then!

Fun times on Excel tonight. We had three teams going, one Ms Lib TF (thanksfor leading Umann), and two missions teams. Thanks for leading these Agoogala and Ronin. I have my baby Rad/Spiner (Warboss on Excel) and he went from 28 to 36 running AVs with Ronin. All-in-all and enjoyable night (even though I dropped him several times). 8/8 We're on Torch. Meet in King's Row at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT.See ya' then! Also, 8/29 we're on Everlasting for a "5th Tuesday" MSR. You'll need to be level 35+ and have the Vaguard Badge (it will be instanced). See you all then!

Fun times on Indom. We ran 2.25 teams. Thanks for leading the Yin TFs PLV and Ronin, and special thanks to "X" who picked up the late comers and lead as missions team while we finished the TFs. Thanks to MsA for taking the star post Yin and running 54 missions for us. My Shield/Rad got several levels and as always a good run (although during the Yin TF I spent most my time turning my toggles back on...). And apparently my Yin pics, didn't take... hopefully someone else got some screenies of the fun. 8/1 We're back on Excel to start our August TTs. Meet in King's Row at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT.See ya' then!

Fun times on Everlasting tonight. Two ITF teams, thanks for leading Witty and Agoogala, and thanks to MsA for leading the missions team. Even got to pick on LR himself during a bank mission afterwards. 7/25 we're on Indom. Meet in King's Row at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT.See ya' then! and... although a month away, we're looking at an MSR on Everlasting for our 5th TT in August. We'll do an instanced raid, so you'll need to bring a level 35 or higher, and have the Member of Vanguard badge. Ranged holds, immobs, and attacks are helpful in bringing down the drop ship.

Hey Banana, It is/was. Had a great time with a full time. Got folks in range and then ran Synapse. We'll be back on Reunion 8/18, so hope to see you then!

Great fun on Torch tonight. Two missions teams (thanks for leading Ronin and MsA). I got to lead Synapse and much fun and leveling was had by all ... Except maybe PLV, who we made do the bulk of the heavy lifting... I was busy with chats so didn't get pics. This Sat we're on Reunion at 9:30AM, Meet in King's and next Tuesday 7/18 we're back on Everlasting. Meet in King's Row at 6:00 PM PDT/9PM EDT. See ya' then!

At least I made it... That said, it was great to see such a turn out. I think PLV should start all the TTs on Excel just to ensure we have a large gathering... I would like to thank all the team leads we had last night. I ended up running a Citadel TF in which there was much herding and fun. Next week we're back on Torch! See you then !

You're in good hands with SB and ZemX's builds. Although I love Battle Axe, I'm afraid I've been messing around with my BA builds. I will say learn how to use Axe Cyclone to position mobs (practice hitting the power and jump to "x" location, pulling mobs in, and moving them in general). Overall, Battle Axe is an amazing set set the Tank should be managing mobs while in melee. Axe Cyclone is an incredible power!

Two teams on Indom tonight. One Posi 1 and 2 team and MsA lead the missions team (thanks for taking that group). Much fun and leveling was had. 7/4 we're back on Excel 6PM PDT/9PM EDT. However, it's a US holiday, so there will be a casual gathering. Enjoy the 4th if you celebrate it. If not, Happy Tanker Tuesday! See you then or the following Tuesday!

Generally speaking there is no level restriction at TTs. However when we're running specific content we are limited by that. So, if we decide to due a MSR the min level would be 35 (for the instanced zone, Hami would be 45 (50 realistically), iContent 50+. In a way the 5th Tuesdays of a month are slightly out of the "normal" TT event standards as we try to do something special/different.
-
Hi Shoguninsact, Thanks for asking. A. Typically on holidays we don't hold "official" TT events. So nothing major planned in case people have other plans. I may or may not be there depending on how crazy things get around here. 2. 5th Tuesday for August. We don't have anything planned at the moment, but we typically default to an MSR since it's one of the easiest events to run for a large number of players. If we do this, we'll run an instance again. Another choice would be a Hami, but that takes a little more coordination and players willing to bring Tanks with holds, or modify their current builds to accommodate holds (green mitos are the bane of Tankers). Or we could run some iContent. I'm a little rusty on leading them, but some of those work too. We've tried CoP, but didn't have enough people to pull it off/enough people to compensate for server timing (since folks are playing from various locations across the global). Of course we are open to suggestions. And, this time we should be on Everlasting (last one was on Torch, right?).

Meh...Freaks, Rikti, TANKS SMASH!!!

Fun times on Everlasting tonight. Two team, one Freakspec and a missions team. Thanks for taking the missions team tonight MsA. Much fun and leveling was had even on the lvl 50 team. Next week we're on Idom. See you all then!

Glad everything went well, sorry I missed it. Had a bit of a family issue that I needed to deal with and didn't have time to log in (and dealing with it, TT slipped my mind). Thanks for picking the lead PLV and other TT vets. I should see you all Tuesday.

I had to remember if I had one here or not... I do 😉 Then I had to remember what I was doing with it... At level 42 he is currently running Conserve Power, but that's okay because I like Energy Mastery in general with Shield (Energy Torrent FTW!)... anyways in addition to that I have both Tanker ATOs in the build already, the +Defs from SP and GA (2.5 End Recovery), UGs slotted (at least two in two powers (2.5s as well), two sets of two, GotA, and for some reason Stamina at four slots, currently slotted with common IOs of various level, as is the rest of the build (I think I was planning on putting an PF +End in there and haven't yet). He's running at 8 +2 (can go to +4) and does okay with End. I am however running Hasten, so that take a bite every time it cycles. If you're running with a team you'll likely have no issues. Solo I do well enough with the toon (I really need to give him a few more sets...). For Incarnates I'll look at how things go after he hits 47. But Cardio could be in his future if I can't get Recovery or End management straightened out. So, not a lot of specifics, but you can make it work. If you Catalyze two GotA per Def set, you can get an early jump on controlling your End. You can leave them in and add other sets, or remove them once you level and respec. Hope this helps. Ymmv.

Good fun on Torch tonight. Two teams, one Manti TF (thanks for leading Trike!), and a missions team run Uni's arc (thanks for leading that PLV!). 6/17 we're on Reunion. Meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 9:30AM PDT! *** 6/20 we're back on Everlasting 6PM PDT/9PM EDT and we'll get rolling from there!

What everyone else has already said, and if you're looking at Dark Melee for the utility aspects of the sets, Rad Armor just adds to that. Two more heals (one that adds ablative HPS), Defense Debuffing, ability to slot -Resists procs, a team heal, self Damage and Resist increase power, looks cool, and color the set to match just about any theme. Could be just my bias but I think it matures a little faster than Invuln to, but don't quote me on that. I'm used to running Rad more than Invuln.

I got Mids working and I see what you're doing and it looks like a good build. Here are some thoughts and suggestions feel free to incorporate some, all, or none. You don't have another attack until level 16. That might be a problem if running lower TFs, or exemping. I'd pull one of your Taunts from Beta Decay and put it into Taunt it self. I haven't seen much use out of the chance for PSi damage in most powers, or Taunt for that matter. It does fire, but not very often (in my experience, ymmv). I'd change the BotZ to the Winter's Gift 20% Slow Resist in Fly. I'd try to get the MotTs into an early power so you can start stacking the +Resists from the proc sooner (for lower level TFs and content). For Kick, add the chance for +Recharge from Force Feedback. Pull the IA PSi Resist from Tough (only takes you down to 87.83%) and put the slot in CJ with a Defense IO from one of the sets already in there. You'll be just over 45% Melee Def w/o needing Hover Toggled on. Once the +Resist proc starts firing for MotT you'll be back over 90%. Do you need four of the Shield Breakers in IG? If not, you could recover one them for something else. Maybe add the slot to Gamma Boost and put the PT chance to heal there? I think it will fire more frequently than in EF. You could then put a damage proc in EF, or whatever works best. Replace Hover with Meltdown, you can add your PSi Resist (Aegis PSi/Status) back there if you feel it's needed.

Well, Mids is being a pain and I don't feel like dealing with it after work. I'll see if I can get it working tomorrow.

Good to have you along. My vote would be Invuln... no actually I vote would be for Rad, but go with what you want to play. 😉

I couldn't open the builds. Can you cut/paste the data block? I'm not a big fan of "Hover Tanking" but I've seen players that do it well. I'd go Combat Jumping/Super Jump for the utility it provides in combat, but each their own. I don't recall what Power Sets your running. What's your secondary?

Another great run on Excel. All said I think we had four teams. Two Hannons (Thanks for leading MsA and...Lady Grams (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong ), one Numina's (thanks for leading Shanawdithit), and a missions team. I was pretty busy with stuff tonight so no pics, but many, many, many levels. We got to meet some new TTers and had a blast. Just something to think about but what about an MSR for next month's TT on Excel. We have the numbers and with the current turnout level would not need to instance it. If that sounds good, what times/days does Excel MSR? Let me know and we can work it out. 6/13 we're on Torch. Meeting in King's Row by IP Gate at 6PM PDT/9PM EDT and we'll get rolling from there!

Melee Def of 40%, not bad try it and see what you think. 45%+ is better, but might not be worth chasing. Since you have no DDR, the Def will wash away pretty quickly and for sure in long encounters. I don't recall which, but one of the incarnate Hybrids (I think), provides some DDR and it may be worth getting that power and trying it in your build. Meltdown, yes moar damage is moar better (and capped Resists won't hurt). Pop it whenever it's up. Plus it gives you the great animation of agitated radiation "bees" circling around you and additional Recovery. IG, yes, procs still work (one is probably good, depending on what you want to achieve others would be fine). See ZemX's comment in the Rad Armor thread. Incarnates: Alpha: I like Musculature if you've got Endurance and Resists under control. You might look at Agility (it will give a few additional %'s to Def). Lore: Banish Pantheon, Carnies, or Cimerorans seem popular with Tanks (mine included). Interface: I like the HP debuff from Degenerative, although Reactive is pretty good too. Judgement: I tend to go with Ion on most of my characters, the others are fine, but I'd say only use Vorpal and Cryonic on specific builds for specific reasons. Destiny: I'd say this depends on what you need in a team and/or solo situation. Barrier is kind of the "go to" for the defensive buffing it provides, plus you can rez up to two of the teammates (if needed). I also use Ageless. Hybrid: Assault, Melee and Support, I've used all of these. Just depends on what you're looking to do for your Tank or your team.

Great fun tonight on Torch. We ran our 5th Tuesday of the month as a MSR. Fourteen Tanks vs all the Rikti in the zone, wasn't even a match. We even took out the dropship, fourteen of us!! Missions and AVs followed. Thanks to all who helped with the event, attended and contributed missions after. 6/6 we're back on Excel. Meeting in King's Row by IP Gate at 6PM PDT/9PM EDT and we'll get rolling from there!
