You don't know about the universal Villain unite vs Hero's pact? Enforced by a magically binding, curse enforced, sign in blood, witness by the Banished Pantheon, contract, every 'bad guy' threat level 1 or higher has to sign? The Villain groups ruthlessly eliminate (as in the cement shoes and go swimming kind of eliminate) any who wont sign willingly.

Originally there was no limit for agro, aoe, etc. This created play styles, like a Fire tank pulling a whole map into a dumpster/container, or flying defenders using an anchor to pull all the monkeys on monkeys island at the same time, that the live devs didnt feel were good for the game. Doesn't mean things haven't changed again, though with tougher than ever characters I suspect those behaviors' would be back quickly.

It started with just the Manage Enhancements screen. Now it is all UI elements - powers, chat, etc. Strobing quickly. Started around the same time as AMD's last driver update with the Vulcan/OGL improvements. Resetting the graphics on next launch works about 30% of the time as a 1 session fix in the x64 client. The x32 client doesnt seem to experience the issue. I've tried playing around with the AMD settings, everytime I thought I had found a fix it turned out to be transient. My system should be able to handle the game just fine even at 4k.

Up to 1k just about any semi-modern computer with a 1/2 good gpu can run the game. 4k my 1080ti would bog at times in graphically more intense situations, my rx6900xt did much better, and my current card, 7900xtx has yes to go below the refresh rate (60hz) of my main monitor. So all depends on the resolution and settings.

I will do that. Likely move one (or more) of my peeps to Everlasting (right?) and check things out. It is now on my list of things to do.

Back to Oro a moment: I am a fan of something unpleasant, but not permanent or damaging, to anyone who blocks doors (aisles too). Perhaps a 5 min timer around the portal, after the character gets ported randomly to one of the allowed exits for their alignment. I dont recall any that are "Hot" so not like they'd end up in the hospital. Yes this could lead to clumped exit locations but that's easy enough to move though. Or perhaps being dumped into Pocket D.

Its not like its obvious to someone on their first BAF/Itrial that the Star is going to change. Be nice if the Dev's would fix that. Yes they should read tells, think how you would feel if a bunch of ppl spam you about something you didnt even know would be an issue and isnt obvious is goign to happen.

Do you see this, and/or other engine enhancements coming? It would be awesome though I Dont know how much work it would be. Guessing more than editing an .ini file. I was reading, if I understood it correctly, that Unreal 5.2 did away with LOD's and uses some other technique now - not that I see the manpower and money being available to migrate game engines.

Anything has to be better that the original barrens chat.

I truly appreciate that people take time from their lives to work on the COH code - time they could be doing just about anything else is applied to making my life more fun!!!! I also know just enough programming (and I am not saying much) to know how code gets unmanageably complex at a seemingly exponential rate. If it isnt just an unfixable artifact of our old game engine can we fix some of the oddities (like base editing) we get at higher resolutions? I assume its more than finding some constant someone put in the code assuming 1024*768 was all we would ever need? Thank you again to all the people who support our game world and than you for your time.

Can we get this UI improved? The slider is a pain to click on - typing a number not much better. Or is there a hidden hold down control or something I dont know? When using Base Storage clicking or dragging stacks works so much better/easier. Can we get that for our vault?

Does the Diagnostic Client use the same resource folders as the main client? I am not seeing a separate installation.

I was running the Diag Client to help out, until I noticed all my badge locations were gone. Silly me not having them all memorized. I attempted to use CityMods to fix this. It removed the Diag client from the Homecoming Launcher and when I reinstalled no badges. Given how touchy it is being I am starting to wonder if Vidiots would cause some kind of data integrity error? Or would it be OK to just copy the file into the install folder old school way? Thanks
