  8. Yes. 60 seconds of siphon speed glory got us where we needed to be. Like a mini turbo charged personal force field.
  9. yep, exactly. I'm pretty sure Afterburner raised the cap. Evasive Maneuvers does not.

  11. Sorry I may have mislead you. Not referring to Speed Boost. Kins get Siphon Speed. On live, Hover + Afterburner + Siphon Speed = no need for Fly and get cooler Hover pose. [Edit] So the question: Live ( Hover + Afterburner + Siphon Speed ) > Beta ( Hover + Evasive Maneuvers + Siphon Speed ) I'm at work taking a break
  12. Makes sense. For Kinetics on live, Hover + Afterburner = very nice. Now.. It's not swiss cheese but there are some holes in the plan that'll hopefully get patched up.

  15. See the Thermians, led by Mathesar, believe episodes of a defunct Earth TV show are true historical documentaries. Inspired by the crew's adventures, they have based their society on the virtues espoused by the show and even manufactured a functioning replica of the show's ship... Just jokes and trying to flip the post back on the poster by fitting it to some kabal (which doesn't exist) narrative. The use of 'caution' was to alert any readers to the bad joke and avoid any confusion.. Wait,.. what do YOU mean?

Stealth Stealth radius increased to match the numbers Invisibility had before this patch PvE radius has increased from 36ft to 55ft PvP radius has increased from 389ft to 611ft Out of combat defence increased from 3.5% to 7% In combat numbers? Even if no change might help anyone not using mids.

  19. So lava, fire, falling, buffing teammate OR Damage-Over-Time will have no impact? Current Afterburner = on-demand performance. Proposed Evasive Maneuvers = could be negated at any moment. For anyone who uses the +def to get in or out of combat, they'll now only be able to use 1/2 of that functionality sometimes. It is a departure. It could definitely work if allowed +def on activation no matter what so long as the player does not attack and it only got cancelled when the player attacks.
  20. I think what you'll find is folks like the on/off aspect of live Afterburner for the defense numbers AND for increase flight speed cap increase. Only Affecting Self was the downside before and is being reduced further to Outside of Combat with Evasive Maneuvers. Outside of Combat could turn off at any moment by external or even accidental means. For a tier 5 pool power it seems dependability should be paramount.

  22. Flight There are net gains & losses Can go a bit faster (yep) (is it 2x faster or as fast as other travel powers?) There is a loss in defense. (no more combat related defense, it is now non-combat) What was a toggle for as long as someone wanted is now a short burst (very short for some traveling, with a longer recharge) 2 powers became 3 which need to be managed and seem a bit convoluted. (the extra options on mystic flight or mighty jump, don't use em) Yes, folks can fly faster now but let's admit this change is long over due. What players want is to fly as fast as they can for as long as they want.
  23. Since people have only had today. I think they are doing just fine posting concerns and reporting issues. I've gotten a boost in speed using current Afterburner. (Could be the unresistable 1.0 max fly speed that it grants 100% of the time it is on for as long as desired) Losing the defense boost in combat, yeah that will break some playstyles. As someone who uses two power trays with a controller, I'm pretty tight on power tray slots and buttons. Making two previous powers into three in not desirable.

That you can't see it or don't want to see it is your problem. --------- By the way, whomever is checking things, using multiple travel powers appeared to be glitchy with occasional stutters. Could just be beta or that things aren't polished. I'll guess this will get cleaned up before hitting live.
  25. Its interesting you leave off Afterburner, now it looks unenhanceable and Increase Recharge. (100% increase) and now have to use 3 powers for what 2 did before.. There are pluses and misuses. I also, again, think folks who were part of the closed testing should not be coming to the forum and piling on folks seeing this for the first time. Just let folks post their concerns and experience. There is a official team to address them.
