No worries, this is an area of the new changes that has some flexibility. The HC team has said they can and are willing to make further adjustments if needed. The comments received are being read. In exchange, try the new options out. Ask how to get from A to B if there is an issue. I wanted to change alignments and catch up with an announced event or task force. That took me: Zone > Base > Pocket D > Base > Zone I thought it would be challenging because Pocket D VIP Pass is now in the Long Range Teleport. Turns out it was pretty easy, once explained, just uses two methods rather than the one macro. Use LRT to get to Pocket D and then the actual Base Portal (which is right there) to get back to a base using the macro's base code.

It was a classic response. It would have been a better screenie if it was bam-bam, but there were a lot of posts in between.

August of 2019 as I recall. It was explained what it's intention was and that they understood how it could be exploited in a number of ways. A few of the examples were related to PvP and some of them weren't. It's okay. Lots of people didn't abuse it and are now confused. Dang, I wasn't gonna say anything more than I already... but then I see folks with lots of posts dog piling someone with fewer. (even if I don't totally agree with them) Ya I saw some of what got removed. Way to go heroes.

My bad. By 'buried' I also meant it being in the LTR menu rather than stand alone. I do see you are proposing folks use: LTR to get to Pocket D Then /enterbasefrompasscode at the Base Portal in Pocket D We'll still be able to use any macro'd base codes as often as we like, but just need to be by the Base Portal? Just asking to be sure.

As previously expressed in Beta. As a villain player. Having Pocket D buried in the Long Range Teleporter (LTR) is not very redside friendly. Can't got to Pocket D using the LRT to change alignment and then jump to the correct zone to join a Task Force (TF). That's not a QOL improvement. This was a big benefit of the former exploit. It allowed quickly switching to join an advertised TF. Maybe this was not considered. If it is intentional to keep players from doing this. please indicate as such.

There are lots of deals currently on PCs that will run CoX just fine. Build one ourselves or tweak an off-the-shelf. Look for an SSD, add some RAM, maybe a quieter fan or two and we're off an running. This is all I use, nothing spectacular then upgraded to 32GB ddr4 and a f9 silent fan. Energy Melee finally got some attention.. Base Teleport was the crack that'll put some folks into withdrawals. I am excited for the new content. Purposely didn't test it instead waiting for it to hit Live HC.
