  2. I had a feeling about the lower levels. (Maybe Brutes being the exception as the one that gets Total Focus early) This was how it felt on a top tier build.
  3. That's just a silly response. And it turns out.. Many of the changes were fleshed out and others are working great. I don't think all the changes were 6 months and more in the works.
  4. A couple items that were lost to the new release. TP Foe could formerly be used on a teammate's target. No more. Regular Temp Power use in Siren's Call. (Yes there is an option to use the vendor for arena powers IF the zone has been won) At best, this won't be clear to players. Granted it is difficult to consider all situations, results & repercussions when making sweeping changes. This list will grow, it is okay. Hopefully these are things that can get addressed.
  5. @America's Angel and this is a flaw in the somewhat short sighted plans that were pushed to production. You can hang onto your opinion that it is working. Fact remains, it is not working equal to how it worked previously. The new changes punish some players but not all equally.

  7. TP Foe could formally be used on an ally's target. Since TP Foe has been removed this function is lost. Power Changes Teleport Target (Replaces Recall Friend) Now combines the functionality of Recall Friend and Teleport Foe If you previously had Recall Friend, you'll now have Teleport Target Combat Teleport (Replaces Teleport Foe) A quick-casting, short-ranged (100ft) teleport designed to be used in combat The range of this power can be enhanced, but it cannot be buffed or debuffed by set bonuses or other powers This power can be activated up to 3 times in a row before it triggers a cooldown This power grants a small ToHit buff to your next attack If you previously had Teleport Foe, you'll now have Combat Teleport Teleport This power now grants a 4s untouchable buff If you attack while this buff is active, both the Untouchable buff and the Hover buff will be cancelled If you have been in combat in the last 10 seconds, phase will not be triggered In PvP, using teleport 3 times within a 30 second window will trigger No Phase Team Teleport Endurance cost reduced from 20 to 16 Fold Space (Replaces Long Range Teleport) This power will teleport foes from the nearby area into melee range Line of sight is required 100ft range, 16 targets max, prioritizes closer targets Long Range Teleport has been removed from the Teleportation pool and is now an Accolade power If you previously had Long Range Teleport, you'll now have Fold Space See the Long Range Teleporter section below for more information

  13. It is just a lot. I can not imagine how busy the HC team has been trying to get this pushed out. It is a lot to properly test, fix, clean up and polish, much less communicate. (I'm seeing @Jimmy is indicating similar) It will take some time to unpack all the recent changes.

  18. Hi I'd suggest; if you had a former favorite starting there. Endgame content.. well, once a character is all maxed out, mostly all of the content has been done. (new content may be on the way) Late in the game, Defense debuffs & Psi damage becomes more common (more fyi than critical info) Blasters still trump other archetypes for ranged damage. These can be built to be very sturdy. AoE is more inline with the current group play style. Have Fun!

  20. Hopefully folks are giving Energy Melee a try on more than just Scrappers. Tanks should be interesting with the additional AoE. Stalkers and Brutes are going to do what they do best. We got to hear from many in the beta (repeatedly). I'll be curious to see what some new voices have to say. Total Focus got a nice boost with a reduced animation time. (3.3 seconds to 2.53 seconds) Whirling Hands got a damage boost. (scale 1 to scale 1.1819) Power Crash replaces Stun. (new cone/quai aoe attack) New feature Energy Focus. (trigger/spender with 3 options) While not the biggest fan of the new combo mechanic it does provide access to the new fast Energy Transfer and a target increase to the new cone attack. (I'll only be using it for one thing) Provides a vehicle to sort of change between AoE and single target focus. Personally would have preferred not revamping the original set. (preferring instead a version we never got to see: returning to the version with fast Energy Transfer + Whirling Hand dam boost & faster Total Focus with the old mag 4 stun (beastly)) An Earlier version of the combo did really use of Bone Smasher. (This was fixed, and gave Barrage a little mid levels boost) Energy Transfer had it's recharge cut in half. Reordering of powers & power swaps blew up a couple of my builds. Since the other Energy Melee thread Energy Melee - Does not need is still locked, I'll be making comments here as I level up some new characters and continue with some old favorites.   23. Ya.. You are pointing out a bit of the chicken before the egg-ness of a now late blooming set. At least Total Focus is not the T9.. right? (Brutes get TF at 18.. Stalkers get AS early) Slowing down the recharge on Energy Punch is a bit harsh for the low levels. Bone Smasher should feel great.
