Hey Tankers, I may need a little help here. I'm committing to making a money-is-no-object tank. I've settled on Super Reflexes / Energy Melee with Rune of Protection for some resistance when needed. I've made tanks before. Twenty seven-ish. Most have been abandoned in the 30s and 40s. Eight have made it to 50 and three or four getting played. (normally I'm a Stalker, Corruptor, Brute, or even Blaster (for pew pew fun)) Here's what gets played: Shield / Energy Elec / Stone Rad / Super Ice / Axe ( I liked this because they were a unicorn at one point) What do these have in common? They hit hard and are fairly resilient. So that's what I'll be shooting for here. With this many Hamis it is an expensive build. For Incarnates I'm leaning toward Musculature Core and Assault, Agility and Degenerative are also options but weighing pros and cons. I'm currently vet level 6 and it's a bit of an endurance piglet (hoping 53ing the toggle HOs will help).

My mains are an energy melee / regeneration stalker & a radiation / dark corruptor. they are awesome., though better choices may exist. I'd suggest: Energy Melee / Energy Aura Stalker Fire Blast / Dark Miasma Corruptor

Stalking of prey, stalking a target. Ninja. Ranger. Spy. We can twist these labels to mean just about anything. Corruptors could twist evil to good, couldn't they? OR there is no black and white merely shades between concentrated near the middle, Corrupters twist the forces of the universe to do their bidding. As a corruptor, you might strike your foes down with blasts of fire, entomb them in ice, infect them with radiation, or curse them with pure darkness. As your foes are weakened, your scourge ability kicks in, increasing your damage to an enemy as their hit points drop. It's bad.. really bad. so many cool combinations and archetypes. I know I have a problem when I get a new character through some of the lower task forces just to realize I've already got one of this combination in the mid 40s. I'd guess Just under forty 50s with an equal number in progress. The rest didn't workout and seem abandoned in the 24-40 range OR are so far down the list they don't get played. Be right back with some numbers. Indom = 8 pages (21 50s) Excel = 9 pages (17 50s) Everlasting = 2 pages (1 50) 2 or 3 pages combined for the rest Surely not enough alts to even be in the top 20% of players club. Days Offline oldest for me is 605 with second at 427 (a bunch at 176). About 1/2 the 50s get played rarely. Why do I keep making them rather than playing the same over and over? It's fun to make new characters, costumes, and see how they play. Other contributing factors? #1 Changes to existing powersets which make them not as fun. #2 I have a Troo or two on each server. My biggest related request: Better sorting tools to avoid duplicate combos. ("search" is okay) Biggest wish request: Powerset respecification. Many times it is just one of the powersets that isn't working out. I'd give 10 levels to be able to ditch a poor match rather than start a new character as we have to now..
