  1. AE Devs Choice gives all rewards and drops still happened. Never would have needed to leave the AE building. If someone's sole purpose was to repeat the same fire farm map for iVet rewards, yes it had an impact. That said, all rewards were available except very specific subset of some Incarnate rewards from some AE content. Empyreans can be earning in AE Devs Choice correct?
  2. If you have all the alts and all the incarnate teirs, then you are correct. Incarnate emps/salvage/threads/shards have little value if you don't want items at the incarnate vendor. The first change was more even handed in my opinion. But the AE fire farm wailing over the 'need' to not just earn vet level but also all the rewards while AFK won out. I solo a lot also. I just do it in PvP zones where the rewards are higher.
  3. Are you saying that the number of Emyreans earned is too much? Nah, we were intended to experiment a little with Incarnates and mistakes do happen. As others have said, Empyreans can be transferred to another character. This is the use for 'extra Emps'. If a player has enough I believe they technically can T4 a brand new 50 which has zero vet levels. (maybe not the most efficient... we'll likely see more on this post Page 4) New Incarnates are going to be a thing at some point. (not to be confused with Soontm)
  4. Were you intended to run all the toggles all the time? No. (this is the truth about Dark Armor) Dark is the swiss army knife of armors. Use too many features at once and it c a n b e c u m b e r s o m e.. Some of the toggles could be considered situational. Some of the toggles pair better with some secondary sets than others. With significant investment and tactics we can run all the toggles we want.
  5. oh geez. lol Don't forget Demonic Aura for those rare times recharge gets floored. frontrunner.. lol
  6. #1 Don't skip Placate This was one of the most powerful abilities in the game when it was single target. Now it is an AoE. It allows escape and can also increase damage through crits. Put a couple recharges in it. Now you're Stalkering. #2 Lean into the additional effects of your primary If you pick a primary that has +def, pair it with a secondary that is defense. If you pick a primary that has crowd control like stuns, try and use it, don't ignore it. #3 Pairing Primary/Secondary Look for synergies. Energy Melee loves recharge. Are there any secondaries which have +rech? Suggested combos Energy Melee/Energy Aura (hits hard, one of the best combos in game currently) Electric Melee/Shield Defense (AoE goodies [which don't break hide]) Hope this helps. Stalkers are fun.
  7. Would you like to see Incarnate salvage/threads/shards transferable between characters on an account?
  8. I would like to get some folks thoughts before having it locked. There might be a good specific suggestion that comes from a general discussion. AE having additional rewards added on Homecoming has created the need to adjust rewards beyond AE. Maybe that's not the best route.
  9. So a player could breakdown salvage to threads and then transfer accepting some loss in the breakdown. This makes sense, I good with straight threads transfer. Threads to Emps would be cherry on top and/or maybe too good for creating rares, v-rares. Definitely could close the Emp to RMs to $$ account transfer.
  10. I think it does. Adding some i-salvage transfer abilities between characters would be beneficial.
  11. At this point is there a consensus of what AE should be best at providing what rewards? AE is convenient. (I guess so is Ouro) AE provides on-demand content. (I guess so does Ouro) AE provides efficient farming of straight infamy. AE provides farming of enhancements. AE provides farming of salvage. AE provides farming of recipes. AE provides farming of AE tickets. AE provides farming of xp. These seem okay with most folks. As long as it doesn't somehow result in some extreme result? I think so.
  12. It's okay to chime in with an opinion and walk away. This is a safe place. 🙂 I'll put you down for Yes, and No for transfers between accounts.
  13. While I have no problem with leveling up character by any means necessary (within the ToS) there could be some room to curb some bad behavior. Time locks on rewards and/or some conversion has been discussed. Removing reward conversions has been discussed. Should Incarnate salvage and rewards be transferable between characters? Should Incarnate salvage and rewards be transferable between accounts? I think I would trade Incarnate salvage/threads/shards being transferable between characters FOR any Incarnate items being transferable between accounts. Thoughts?

  16. Seriously though, it would be interesting to hear how many Empyrean to Reward Merit conversions happened is the past month. Just to get a sense of scale. I wonder because this is a lot of reward merits being dumped into the game. 1 or 2 characters of Empyrean conversions verses dozens of players getting straight reward merits. (I need to start dumping some RMs)
  17. it makes a nice sliding hill..
  18. agreed, the same issue exists with diminishing returns for much of the content.
  19. Even if folks are just in AE, maybe the missions that get run the most slowly have diminishing returns while missions which are run less start to get more rewards.. nah, that would force people to play more than one or two AEs, regardless we're a long way from there (even though devs choice provides more rewards).
  20. tough call. weirdo or cheater.. I just don't know.
  21. a flexible reward system that could self adjust based on number of defeats would be ideal. it could keep the least run content as the highest rewards in an ever evolving landscape of challenges. but we don't have that 😞
  22. c r e e p . . . and there is a big issue, avoiding creep while not wanting to nerf punitively.

Tanks are heroes. Brutes are villains. It really is that simple. Tanks get love. Brutes are niche-y and overlap a little with both Tanks and Scrappers. Which makes them great for wanting a good bit of everything without being 'the best'.
