  1. Which IO Set is better to build toward?
  2. I signed on to Discord once. Asked a question and didn't get a answer. Came to the forums and got a answer. I guess it's a generations thing kid's stuck with their neck bent down to their cell phone. Back in my day we had to read books and we liked it 🙂
  3. Agreed. Most of the comments here miss the point the OP is making... NEW PLAYERS should just play the game. Their's a lot to learn and plenty of time to learn it. Lots of content to enjoy. Mistakes and decisions to be made. You don't have to rush to 50. New players should be using TO's, DO's, SO's etc. I was reading a arbitrage guide where the author had a level 50 tank on a rikti raid that kept failing because he had NO enhancements and was saving for his "end game" build. The author went to the market and bought him some resistance IO for free.
  4. " sell the un-Attuned Enhancement and buy the Attuned version from the Auction House for the same price.)" This may be a stupid question but exactly HOW do I do this? My best guess is that you: 1. Enter a Attuned bid higher than the last sold Attuned. 2. Sell your un-Attuned for 1inf If you loose then your options are to: 1. If your bid was in the ballpark of the inf you got from the sale just leave it up and wait. 2. If your bid was significantly too low, then enter a higher bid with the inf you just received. The downside is now you have to wait and you are out your un-Attuned IO when 2m inf for a catalyst would have been "safe"
  5. ...Ahh they have a website. Why can't they post here that they plan to take the servers down for 2 hours. We only know because @Apparition posted the information here on the website.
  6. Thank You for the Update. Safe Mode has no problem recognizing the Steam Controller as did the standard HomeComing Instances prior to 8/22 patch. If the dev team ever gets a Steam Controller here's a link to the video that helped me set it up Please don't remove the Safe Mode option. If you have to, consider re-naming it the "Steam Controller" option. It's nice to have a mouse integrated into your joystick. Once you try it you'll wonder how you ever used other joysticks before.
  7. 9/10 Patch Issue: Steam Controller Steam Controller not fully Recognized when running Homecoming/ Homecoming (64-Bit) Steam Controller was fully recognized prior to 8/22, 8/23, 8/27, 9/10 Patch Currently Homecoming (Safe Mode) fully recognized the Steam Controller.
  8. 1. Status Quo. 2. Quality of life Bug Fixes . 3. Development of COH/COV 2
  9. 8/27 Patch Issue: Steam Controller Steam Controller not fully Recognized when running Homecoming Steam Controller was fully recognized prior to 8/22, 8/23, 8/27 Patch Currently Homecoming (Safe Mode) fully recognized the Steam Controller.
  10. 8/23 Patch Issue: Steam Controller Steam Controller not fully recognized As a result still running Homecoming (Safe Mode) which fully recognized the Steam Controller as it did prior to 8/23&8/22 Patch
  11. Both Homecoming Homecoming(64-Bit) Do not fully recognize the Steam Controller. In the short-term running Homecoming(Safe Mode) which fully recognizes the Steam Controller as it did prior to patch.
  12. It was up and down for me. The first 1/2 was great. The second 1/2 just descended into tropes that I could see from a mile away. The final episode was not a cliffhanger for me. Shouldn't have binged, but like I said the first 1/2 was great the second 1/2 I just wanted it to end already...
  13. Two quick questions. 1. Does Acid Mortar need Accuracy? 2. Set bonuses only apply to the Mastermind and not the pets? Thank You
  14. You can't make mistakes in COV, that's why I love it.
  15. You tell the story. You begin with creating your costume (hours) Breakout (COV) starts you off nice and slow. You're able to get the hang of it. After running around for a few missions, getting your first travel power changes EVERYTHING.
  16. City Of Villains! If you ever ran a task force with me you'll remember my call sign at the end of a successful mission: I love it when a plan comes together! Logged in a month ago to kick the tires. Now it's time to set up shop: keybinds, supergroup etc. Digging up my old files I realized there is much to relearn and of course a lot of it comes back walking around. It's a tradition for all my alts to start with Breakout; the start of the self-narrative. Anyway, looks like I'll be setting up shop on Torch!
  17. This is a alt friendly game. Why do you think there are 1,000 slots? Seriously drop your expectations from other games and have fun. That is what makes this game so different. There is no "Uber" build etc. Almost anything you find fun will be useful. TLDR Make both. Back in the day I've had Corr and Dom alts. They are both fun.
  18. Thanks for the replies. I had to drop the subscription a few years because of real life and a week after I came back everything was over. Looking back at the releases I see that I missed the PermaDom Nerf which I had multiple alts for. My 2019 alt ran Breakout...actually all my alts did. That's what I loved about COV everything tied together from the Launcher to Breakout to Task Force. Every component supplied a narrative. Anyway after creating a villain yesterday I hoped that the launcher would default to COV but alas COH again. What do I modify to add the -cov parameter? Currently I just click Tequila.
  19. For those of us who lived on the COV side is there a way to launch on the COV side instead of COH?
  20. My regular xbox controller isn't being picked up by my win7 computer. If I put coh on my win10 computer will it recognize the controller? I read in another post someone talking about joytokey software. This weekend I'll try to dig up my old stuff to see what I still have. Back in the day I used mouse+keypad+non-xbox controller. Plus detailed keybinds for my mastermind pets if I recall correctly I had to had the file in a certain folder.
