Maybe. I think the point made earlier that hostages are "normal" and preserving them is part of the fun is a very valid point. Stealth and tp doesn't make good brag... er, I mean "storytelling!"

Now that Cosmic platform is so ubiquitous, the Ouro badge is nearly useless. I used to recruit lowbies hanging out at Ms. Liberty and help them get their Ouro badge at level 1 just to blow their minds. But no one is interested anymore... 😞 People don't understand that the Ouro badge is better for tp'ing to Atlas Park (for instance) and the Cosmic platform is better for tp'ing to Peregrine Island (for instance.) It takes both of them to efficiently fast travel!

This sounds suspiciously like a Nemesis plot!

I vote that we have 6 slots for everything! Including Incarnate Powers! Yay! Lol!

During a mission I was on today where we led the hostage out, one person made the comment that they wished "x" power increased the Perception of the hostage to allow them to see the person they were locked onto. I thought it was an interesting suggestion.

Ok. I'm seriously with you on this "minimal" thing. Like, seriously. If I get a power that I use on other people (I'm talking to YOU Ice Armor!) then I always choose "minimal effects." Period. I don't want to diminish the true glory of their incredibly beautiful toon with my clumsy effects! Right? But I reserve the right to "effects" my own toon! If I have Mystic Flight, then I'm likely to flaunt it! Lol! "Yeah, tp baby! Whuchoo got?" Hmmm... Too bad Mystic Flight requires wasting a power to purchase. It would fit perfectly with one of my toons! Let's have all travel powers available through the P2W agent!

Psychic Blast has TK Blast with KB. Mental Manipulation has TK Thrust. I had previously counted Psionic Tornado. Also Bonfire from Fire Mastery. I understand what "knockUP" is, but how is it useful? I've seen it with Levitate, and people get mad when I use it because it moves the enemy.

Ugh... I have to debuff nearly half of my powers with KB > KD! I think I've had enough!

I only have one slot for Spirit Ward. What enh should I use?

Sigh... So... Mace Mastery? This means I would have to switch to red and modify my story slightly. I mean, I could do it and all, but... Why do I always find myself switching to red to be cool?

Ok, so it looks like I put together a "final" build (see my previous post.) Any suggestions?

Yay! Two options! 1) The 2 End Mod and 2 Heal in RotP puts End, Heal and Absorb right at the Enh Diversification limit! Wow! Surgical! 2) The Peroxisome Hami-O saves slots! Too bad I can't put 5 slots in it! Lol! Why is the last epic power always limited to 4 slots?

Just to clarify: are you saying that the PS enh would be better placed elsewhere to maximize the benefit from it? That's fine but I was talking about placing it elsewhere AND here! I'm not worried about the cost. I just want to be as bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed as possible after using this power so I don't faceplant immediately afterwards. I'm a risk-taker and I usually rez surrounded by enemies if they're occupied or I think I can survive long enough to get away. Stun sounds like a good one to add, too.

Here's my build so far.

1) I can put the Reactive Defenses set in Hover. What if I put the Scaling Resist Damage enh in Hover? Does that work globally or only when the power is active? I've heard that some individual enhs have global effects and was wondering how to tell when this occurs? 2) How should I slot Rise of the Phoenix? I can add ANOTHER Performance Shifter Chance for +End to it!? Would that do any good? I just want it to bring me up to FULL POWER, or as close as I can get to it.

Wait... The only part that sucks about it on Doms is the fact that it takes millions of years to recharge! Plus, it's only available through the epic pools. I *like* Confusion. On a Blaster it's a secondary power, changes to PBAoE and is a toggle. It just seems to suck because it doesn't seem to be confusing anything?! Does it work as well as World of Confusion normally does?

Wow! I blew a lot of money during the Winter Event! Thank you for the Super Pack: Lords of Winter discount! Yay! Here's hoping it pays off!? I didn't badge as much as I'd like to have! I had heard that there was a good combo of power sets that were related to mental powers and fire but I don't remember exactly which witch was which!? Mind Control/Fiery Assault or Fire Control/Psionic Assault? Is one of them a "better" combo? What would be a good Epic Pool set to go with them? Happy New Year!

Storm Summoning and Fire. Can't remember the names of the power sets here!? I enjoy Storm Summoning and have even lately discovered the "secret" powers of O2 Boost: removing mez and having range (rather than PBAoE.) It compliments a healer perfectly! Fire is fun 'cuz it means the enemies get a rude surprise when they say "Let's attack the Defender! They're easier!" Plus, taking all of Storm Summoning and Fire gives me TWO attack chains!? The normal single-target/cones chain and a weather-nuke AoE chain (including Rain of Fire!?) Edit: I created a Storm Summoning/Electric when I first started playing and that's where i learned to like SS. But electric was "meh" to me. In this case, thematic had to take a back-seat!

There's one thing I seem to have learned from this thread: the pool room is similar in layout to the "pancake" caves? And both have 16 levels? Lol!
