  1. I think I'll still head to IOs by 27 or 32 which is what I do now anyway.
  2. You are expected to sell drops on the AH to fund yourself.
  3. Today while doing the mission "Steal contract from Arachnos" from Johnny Sonata in St. Martial, a couple of mobs fell through a whole in the geometry and couldn't get back to me. Didn't make it uncompleteable, was just funny.
  4. I played the game since i3, and when I came to homecoming what I instinctively thought was that I should spend my merits on recipes and enhancements from the merit vendor. It took me a while to learn that that was not really correct.
  5. They are though. Mental gets an exception for a very precise reason. Tac Arrow is still one of the strongest Blaster secondaries.
  6. Ranges equal on like powers, sets balanced. A minor quibble, I know.
  7. That’s not quite right I think. Mental gets range as part of its secondary effect. You might say Fire is an outlier in the same sense, it’s the only set with extra dot damage on most attacks. Electric the only set with end drain on most attacks. Their goal is not to homogenize the sets but to balance them. it’s not the same thing.
  8. All except Mental, I think? Personally I don’t love that design, but that’s the current setup I believe.
  9. Never should have been a blaster power in the first place.
  10. The gap of knowledge for new players is regarding turning Merits into Converters and then into Inf. But if you've learned that then simply completing Exploration Accolades is enough to fund the P2W purchases of any toon.
  11. It should also be noted that running around for the Atlas Accolade gets you both LRTP and five Merits which can be turned into nearly 1 million inf all on its own.
  12. The t9 secondary is available at level 33 when exemplared.
  13. In the situation where you are exd doing Oro missions you have a character with a bunch of extra slots, powers 5 levels higher than the mission, and you're probably level 50. You definitely don't need to be able to use your immob at the same range as your blasts to do that. Now if it ruins your fun, of course that's completely subjective and I'm genuinely sorry if it's the case. But it's definitely NOT enough of a problem in terms of actual performance to justify the set getting to keep range on powers that the devs have explicitly said are supposed to be equal across sets.
  14. Fair point, but not really an issue that’s being addressed right now.
  15. As stated elsewhere one of the goals of the update is to make the set less reliant on Control and more about debuff and buff.
  16. Which Hold in other sets gets a giant AoE buff field attached? THAT makes it WAY way better than other AoE holds.
  17. You would have to make a convincing argument for why that’s necessary.
  18. They CAN, if they prioritize that way. Nevertheless, you don’t NEED the 10 mill one. The one mill and unlockable versions are enough.
  19. Yes. Ex’s have Way more slots.
  20. Nah, because LRTP is on a fairly long timer. Bases will still be used heavily.
  21. That would be way too powerful. It’s a normal AoE targeted hold. The buff is a bonus effect.
  22. Defenders don't have access to Boost Range...that's one possibility... But also it might simply have been that Blasters do so much more damage it was deemed unfair for them to have such high range. Might even have been because of PvP.
  23. I think you mean the ri-i-i-i-i-ight!
  24. Here is a Similar bug, the icon is on, but the power is not, but this time involving Athletic Run:
