  1. That makes sense. Would it be possible to add a small self buff that is caster only? Perhaps +Recovery +Regen +Status Res (not protection)?
  2. It’s also not going to effect most ranged teammates, who need the buffs more than the melee anyway.
  3. Wow. Well, that sucks. Bad change. EDIT: I would say if it's not going to be a 2-minute perma buff then it should DEFINITELY effect the caster AND be usable while mezzed.
  4. EMP still doesn't effect the caster. And as I said before, if the effect works the same as Faraday Cage then this power is still pretty crappy.
  5. @Jimmy Does this mean that instead being a two minute duration effect it only lasts as long as people stand in it? Because with a five minute recharge that would be pretty useless.
  6. You’re not supposed to reduce build pressure. You’re supposed to raise it. Every power in the set should be desirable. You’re literally arguing to make a power worse so you can freely skip it. No thank you.
  7. I love the changes. They correctly deemphasize the control aspects and improve the debuffing. Entangling: now a very good debuff that you actually want, but that doesn't have to be spammed to be maintaned. Flash: A powerful shield. Went from always skip to must have. Glue: Stickier and Longer Lasting. Ice: Good anti-mez, which is what we usually used it for anyway. Poison Gas: Again, stronger and longer lasting. Acid: Such a cool concept, and something really unique for the set, a Build Up for Debuffs. Disruption: Bigger and more powerful. Oil Slick: Still Oil Slick, slamming as ever. EMP: No longer situational, now something you want to fire on cooldown, something you eagerly look forward to while levelling. The ultimate debuffing set.
  8. Entangling Arrow's effect of slowing your enemies reactions now gives you openings to do extra damage. Ice Arrow makes your enemy even colder than before. Acid Arrow still debuffs resistance, it just debuffs resistance to debuffs instead of resistance to damage. Disruption Arrow's sonic waves now fatigue your enemy in addition to eroding their resistance. EMP now zaps both enemies and allies. I don't see how any of those changes run counter to the theme.
  9. Well, I don't Actually think it needs to be bigger. Just retain the ability to effect guys that walk into it. If it was location based I could put it in the middle of the spawn. The fact that it requires a target is what is causing me to have a problem. Soloing yesterday (level 20 or so, Defender) I was finding every couple of spawns I would miss a couple guys with it and that's when I first noticed they weren't being hit when they ran in.
  10. Challenge accepted.
  11. Only if it was also made Bigger. I shouldn't have to fire Glue twice on the same spawn unless I put it in the wrong place.
  12. This is not a valid complaint. Good powerset design makes ALL the powers in the set valuable and skipping ANY of them should feel like a difficult choice.
  13. They want to increase AoE damage regardless of Focus.
  14. It's not a democracy.
  15. Has something changed about how Glue works? Correct me if I'm wrong, on Live, if a mob that was not hit by Glue when I fired it runs into the glue he then gets caught in it. On Test it seems like anything not in the Glue when it's fired will not be effected if they run into it. That seems unfortunate.
  16. I'm thinking if Build Up granted EF then they would lower the Damage Buff. So I'd rather get it from TF and BS or even WH.
  17. What if Bone Smasher had a chance to proc EF or a conditional means of generating it?
  18. By bringing up the power of some of the older sets relative to the newer ones they make it possible to add more difficult high level content that won't be too hard for the weaker sets.
  19. I am saying the double EF is I think more intended for you to use on two Different consumers instead of two ETs, but even if you had your ET recharge nice and high so you can get two, what’s the problem? Use EP, Barrage, or WH as your fillers and you won’t lose the stack.
  20. I believe the intention is for the scrapper to be able to Sometimes get both Focused BS and Focused ET in one application of TF, but not always.
  21. I'm liking these changes. I have no problem with the way Oil Slick functions, but it would be nice if the Oil Slick was tagged Electronic so that the EMP could set it off.
  22. oh wow, ok I misunderstood, even better
  23. I know this was a joke, but MoG doesn't work that way anymore.
  24. Energy Transfer DOES crit. ET crits have no HP cost. More specifically they heal the damage back instantly.
  25. Been a while since I did that but I recall there being a strategy that worked... what difficulty are you on?
