  1. Vulnerability takes exactly 5 seconds to recharge. The Opportunity bar takes 30 seconds to gain a charge, and if it's under 50 the Vulnerability icon will be grayed out. Maybe this is what you're seeing? Sentinels could never stack their Vulnerability debuff. Only their small always on proc. Since the proc no longer exists (it was replaced by having higher base damage) you can no longer stack that element. Previously if you hit your Vulnerability debuff when another Sentinel had already cast it, it would overwrite, thereby wasting some amount of time on one of the debuffs. Now you cannot waste it.
  2. I don't really disagree, but I do want to point out that the perception range, and the high range of Vulnerability, allows us to put up the debuff even on Stealthy mobs when they are ahead of us. This is so that we can debuff to help our allies even if we aren't in attack range yet.
  3. This is also a problem in some missions in Story Arcs, such as Rescue Jim Thunderhead Bartlett. Rescuees should not be able to take damage until AFTER they are rescued.
  4. They are balanced for the primary element. Not secondary effects. Earthquake and Ice Slick have the same duration and recharge, the same end cost, ice slick actually has a slightly better knockdown chance. Elements like debuffs in a Control set are secondary effects that are going to typically be different in different sets. Earth Control has very little in the way of Defensive debuffs outside of Earthquake. Ice Control has defensive debuffs in everything EXCEPT Ice Slick. I'm not convinced that Ice Control lags behind anymore. That would have to be demonstrated.
  5. Again, powers are not balanced that way. The set is balanced against the set. Not the individual powers.
  6. If that's the best argument then it's DOA. Powers are not balanced against each other directly, but rather in the context of what the set as a whole brings. Ice Control has massive amounts of Slow that Earth Control cannot match. I'm not saying that Ice Slick SHOULDN'T have -ToHit, but this is not a good argument for it.

  11. When you slot Repulsion Field with -KB you lose the repel AND the KB is cut to a 10% chance. Hurricane's KB chance is only 5%, so presumably with Hurricane you would lose the repel and the -ToHit and -Range would be cut down to like 0-10%. Is that really what you want?
  12. Did you have a bunch of story arcs open on hero side? There's a limit to how many story arcs you can have open at a time.
  13. Bug: Impassioned Serenade fails to apply Confuse if line of sight to the target is broken before the cast completes. How to duplicate: Cast Impassioned Serenade while moving such that line of sight is broken before the cast completes. The damage will be applied, but the Confuse will not.

  15. Honestly, I do feel for you. There's lots of things I have irrational hatred for and no way to change. It's a totally frustrating experience, for sure. However, you've acknowledged that it is irrational, you have no explanation for what the problem actually is, and there is no tangible negative impact from the feature. So it seems highly unlikely the devs are going to do anything about it. That said, if they decide they do want to spend the time to put in an Option or Null the Gull request to turn of Patrol XP, I wouldn't say don't do it. It wouldn't harm anything else to have such an option.
  16. Set bonuses stack up to 5 PER BONUS not per Set. So if you have five other sets that also have the 3.13% AoE Def Bonus you won't get any more. Could that be what's happening?

  18. I think originally it was meant to entice people back who hadn't subscribed for a while. Obviously that's no longer a concern. Functionally, what it does now is reward you for playing alts. I have not checked, and I'm sorry if you mentioned this already, does turning off XP gain turn off the accumulation of Patrol XP? Perhaps not, but if it did that would provide a solution, albeit an annoying one.
  19. I see, sorry, yes I did miss that. Ok, so this was a character you hadn't played in a while, they had a whole levels worth of Patrol XP saved up (the maximum possible). It might help if you said something about Why patrol xp is a problem, besides that you don't like it. You hate it, uncontrollably. Why can't you just play normally to get rid of it? Why is it an issue? There's a change in UI, and the rate at which you gain xp changes...what is the problem? Why do you hate it?
  20. But yea, Debt eats patrol xp, so next time instead of spending 52 minutes, just get yourself killed a few times. Should take less than 5 minutes.
  21. You are comparing your reaction to seeing an extra bar on the UI to an epileptic seizure. I have known people who had epileptic seizures. I have sat with them and held them while they spasmed while we waited for the ambulance. Are you saying you are having a physiological reaction to seeing this bar? If so, that is very serious and the devs should definitely fix it, like they have for Sonic and Trick Arrow.
  22. This is a problem that exists only in your mind. What ACTUAL issue is being caused by Patrol XP? As far as I can tell, it's just that you don't like the way the UI looks with an extra bar there? Get over it.
  23. It would be cool to have something Unspecific and Permanent. Like a little memorial grove somewhere. Doesn't have to have any Names, just a plaque that says "Dedicated to all those Heroes and Villains who have gone before us." or something like that. That would be nice.
  24. YES! I noticed this way back when the summon times were "normalized" and thought I was losing my mind.
