I still don't think it's necessary, but IF it was actually shown that the set underperforms defensively then maybe something sort of similar to the new Shocked mechanic with Electrical Blast: Using Power Sink on mobs with less than 50% of their Endurance gives you a chance for +Absorb, and the chance increases the lower their Endurance is. Perhaps DON'T have it scale with number of mobs, so that it can be strong enough to be valuable even against a single foe.
  4. QFT Kinetics, one of the most powerful sets of any kind in the entire game, is virtually unchanged from launch.

  7. It CAN, but you would have to demonstrate that the set is unbalanced against the other sets without it.
  8. Irrelevant. Powers are not balanced against each other directly, sets are.
  9. Power Sink is already a mitigation ability. Enemies without end can't hurt you. Even if you can't keep them completely drained it seriously cuts down incoming attacks.
  10. I don't know for sure, but it's possible the Envenomed Daggers temp power from the P2W could help you get through her (next time).
  11. Those ARE the two powers I also would have singled out. I think the set is fine overall. If I could make changes to the set I would do the following: Swap Ammo effects buffed slightly. Piercing Rounds gets the -Res regardless of ammo type. Those two changes would make the set just about perfect, from my perspective.

  13. How do people feel about Dual Pistols? I keep trying it and keep being disappointed, but I've heard from others they think it's fine.
  14. what you have to do is start eliminating possible explanations. That's why it's good to use ONLY that power and see if it's still happening. Turn off Hover, turn off Dispersion, everything.
  15. What is unquestionable is that this power IS wonky. I'm not convinced that you've properly described what is ACTUALLY happening, but that the power is buggy is definitely true. More rigorous and methodical testing is required to figure out what's actually happening.
  16. To even have this proposal considered you first would have to make a positive argument showing that Defense in general is weak (lmao), and that SR specifically is weak (I'm dying here). Good luck with that.

  19. Yes, I see that you’re requesting completely unnecessary power creep. Like I said, SR is already one of the best Armor sets in the game.
  20. the scaling damage res is meant to simulate the idea that when the shit hits the fan you run even faster so that no one can land a clean hit on you.
  21. With all the combat spam sometimes you won't see a Miss on the battlefield. Be sure to check your combat log to verify the hit.
  22. In this video you can clearly see the enemy IS confused. Oh you meant the second enemy, hmm, I'm not certain, but my guess is that was a miss.

  25. Ok, I came up with an alternative solution. Add a -Mez Resistance Debuff to Martial Assault>Caltrops and Thorny Assault>Thorntrops. So enemies in the 'Trops stay mezzed longer. That would justify the power being in an Assault set AND would justify being placed at t7.
