Using a yellow inspiration does not get rid of smoke grenade. It is very very easy to run yourself out of yellow inspirations in a mission with a lot of night widows in it. The Debuff should not be a minute long. That’s ridiculous.
1 minute Smoke Grenade and 5 minute Vanguard Curse whatever it's called (I know you can buy a temp power to remove it, but come on, get real).
No debuff should be so long it crosses from challenge to annoyance.
Not precisely, but effectively yes. The sets are not balanced with the ASSUMPTION that everyone is going to take Tough, but the POSSIBILITY that everyone is going to take Tough is definitely included. The availability of pool powers is absolutely part of the balance among sets.
Try playing ANY armor set without Tough, Weave, IOs, Pool Powers, and Incarnates and see how well you do.
I repeat: SR is one of the best armor sets in the game. On EVERY archetype that gets it.
SR defends against Psionic attacks that require the enemy to physically target you, but not attacks that directly assault the mind itself. Mind Control and Illusions and related abilities are the only real weaknesses SR has.
SR does not need anything at all with the exception of Elude.
However, the question of fixing Elude really has little to do with SR specifically and more to do with the general design of most of the oldest t9 armor powers.
SR is fine. Elude will only get fixed when Unstoppable, Overload, Power Surge, and Kuji-In Retsu get fixed.
In the mission Recruit Desdemona from Provost Marchand, I defeated a level 31 Geode who then turned into 3 level 35 Geode Shards.
It happened repeatedly throughout the mission. Every time a defeated Geode spawned underlings they were several levels higher than the minion that spawned them.
However, the Rubbles that appeared were of the same level as the Bedrock that spawned them.
What if instead of using Converters it worked more like Inspirations? Right click an HO that you have 3 of and change it into 1 other HO?
or 5 of, or whatever
