  2. That is not a bug. That's how the power works. Notice that when you're NOT hidden, the extra AoE goes away.

  6. It depends on playstyle. I do have extra stealth on my Bane, but it's totally personal taste. It's not "necessary".
  7. Well, there could be alternate animations, just like there are for other sets, but that’s all it has to be. Not separate powers.
  8. There is one set that already has this in one spot: Sentinels Super Reflexes. You have two options at one tier, and you can choose one or the other. My understanding, although I have no source to point you toward, is that the devs don't want to do this again as it apparently causes some kind of problems. Not knowing anything about the code I can't be more specific.

  15. I've posted about this before in regards to Energy Melee on Stalkers. For all I know it impacts all Stalker primaries. This is my first encounter with it on the new Stone Melee for Stalkers. I was in Hidden status. I started a slow Assassin's Strike which neither missed nor hit yet did alert the mobs to my presence. I did not move or otherwise interrupt or cancel the attack.
  16. Sentinels were pretty clearly designed to be solo toons for people who couldn't hack it as Blasters, and that right there is the source of the problem.

  18. No, they’re not. We are operating with different definitions of good enough. Also, this is a silly way of looking at it. Buffing Sentinels does not make anyone else worse. They are the only AT that is so far outside the norm.
  19. No, we don't. Athereal is right, there's already lots of overlap among ATs, some more is fine. Corruptors, for example, are also not the best there is at any one thing, but they are good enough at a couple things that it works out. Scrappers are also not the best there is at any one thing, but they are good enough at a couple things that it works out. What we are back to is "what does a Sentinel have to be able to do to be good enough?" and the simple answer is "a bit more".

  21. I do think that "Scout" is the vaguely appropriate team role term. Opportunity represents the "scouting report" as it were. Simplify and improve Opportunity and raise damage a little bit. Done.
  22. I don't think the comparison is particularly apt anyway. They don't play very much like Forts at all.
