  1. the 5% -Res and 3.75% -Def are a non stacking effect from All Sentinel attacks, including the Primary target of AoEs and Cones. You do NOT need to take every attack, nor both t1 and t2.
  2. Sounds good to me. I ALSO think Sentinel Aim should be turned into Build Up, but the OP's suggestions are good.
  3. All I'm saying is, the possibility that there exists a mission in which you would want even more healing does not in and of itself show that the heal was nerfed too much.
  4. The game is not balanced around soloing AE content. Get a team.
  5. Fundamentally, if you're getting hurt enough that you need a Big heal instead of constant high HP and Regen, there's something else going on in your build. And I'm not talking about Granite.
  6. You had to heavily invest in recharge in order to have a 4 to 6 second delay all the time. So the benefit here is that people who don’t have all that recharge have a much more useful ability. And the other changes to the set mean that you don’t really need the giant heal as much. More solid defense, with more reliable high hp and regen means you won’t need much actual healing.
  7. I think that used to be true, but with the new setup it's better to have it up in advance.
  8. Don't use it as an oh shit button. Granite is your oh shit button. Instead, keep EE up all the time, use it in advance.
  9. The significant difference is that Destiny can be made permanent and Hybrid cannot, but it can still be useful for sure.
  10. I don’t know what the Null represents, but to answer your other question: yes, Clarion is the only Destiny with status protection. However the Melee Hybrid power also offers some status protection.
  11. It has been so long since a dev said anything about revamping Sentinels, it would be nice to know if they’re still on the list to be looked at.
  12. I'm not sure this is quite accurate. It seems to me these powers often have longer recharge by default in order to justify them being as good or better than primaries/secondaries.
  13. hilariously, the first thing I did was Google it and I said to myself "nah, they can't be referring to some kind of ancient coin, it must have some other meaning I'm missing"
  14. The evil double seems to be using Radiation Blast attacks, but I am a Stalker with Radiation Melee.
  15. Nice catch.
  16. Bio and Rad are OP and the numbers on the WP passive are not very high.
  17. Well, the numbers on the spiders passive are not that high, but sure.
  18. Perhaps, it depends on the total package. But maybe some of the earlier stuff should be moved into a later spot.
  19. That's not true. There are multiple sets that have their mez protection spread over multiple powers. Fire, Bio, Dark...
  20. I don't see it this way. Right from the start the set encourages you to group enemies tightly which means being up close when solo. At 26, when you get Poison Trap, you start being encouraged to run into melee to toe bomb hold groups. So a few levels later adding VG shouldn't be that much of a departure. In addition, if you do team a lot, you are already encouraged to group up for buffs and heals. Many ranged players stand too far back most of the time. Sure, avoiding aoes is important, but being buffed is important too.
  21. Pretty sure this is intentional. The Upgrade system is, in part, intended to be an Inf sink. They don't want it to be cheaper to buy SOs.
  22. There was a suggestion recently that the Team UI should show you when allies are Mezzed to make it easier for Buff characters to see when to use Clear Mind, Antidote, etc. That would be so cool.
  23. I think that advice is wrong. I find both holds and the cone slow handy. The heal, antimez, and rez are the more situational, but fine at what they do.
