Multi-Strike and Annoyance are going to be cheap due to being uncommons. You can't move slots around due to when they were placed in the build. If you slot something at 29, you can't magically reslot it at 34. You need to start from the beginning and go from there. Of minor note, I have no idea why the slot for the +KB protection is there. More when I see two major issues with the build. 1. The current Recovery - End Drain is .7%. That's outright awful, and more so for a build which doesn't have a click power to refill its end bar. Likewise, regen is 216%. On a tanker. WTF? I have a EA Brute which will sit at over 500%. I feel like I'm missing something, but that feels incredibly low for a Tanker. 2. One of the best ATO procs to the point of being broken is the proc for Might of the Tanker. It isn't in the build. Fine, you want to skip the rest of the set, but how negligent do you need to be to forget that?

A good test is to run the Tina badge mission. It is nothing but Hydra. If you can do that at your normal diff setting, whatever that may be, then I think you have Toxic covered. I can't recall my Stalker's performance in it since I did it some time ago. Any other EA I have done has been +#/x8 and never really felt in danger. I can't recall if my level 44 Brute did it at +1 or +2. He's done everything +2 since hitting 45. I tend to solo smaller mobs on my Stalker though. There are missions for Psy, but I don't have the info for where those are at. The best ones are red side. I know there is one with I think nothing but Psy Cops.

It's also a reminder just how screwed Kin got in terms of IOs. Two powers have no IO sets. Three powers if all taken can get away with one slot. Repel is so rarely taken I forgot it existed. Add in you are looking at set bonuses from Slow and End Drain, and that's a bunch of lackluster right there.
-
Hide, Weave, Maneuvers, CJ, and the two Resist IOs which give +3% Def each. Resistance is the two Def based IOs giving 8% Resist while at full health, some set bonuses, and Kinetic Dampening and Aegis Psy Resist.
-
I went and looked. On my StJ/ea I got 23.79% and 24.79% for P/T Def respectively. Resist is 16% and 25.73%. Toxic I found to be the easier one to deal since it is DoT based as where Psy hits harder and its secondary effects of -Recharge.
-
That comes up as a Stone/kat.

Which Secondary is Superior Fire Or Rad? You Decide!
Without_Pause replied to ItsDecoy's topic in Sentinel
I assume you mean SR. If I went Psy, I would go SR simply because Def > Res and Psy doesn't really go in close so SR works for that. With Rad, you want to be in melee so you can proc bomb. -
Do to the colors you picked, I can barely read that.
-
Depends on where you put the Shield Wall: 5% Res or Reactive Defense: Scaling Resist Damage IOs. You can always stick a LotG: +Recharge in there if needed. To add, the only other one off Def based IO would be Kismet: +6% Acc.

I forgot I have a Sent with EA, Scrapper version has been posted in its forum, but I need to do some tweaks on it after having my Brute get nearly to 50. Here's the current Brute version which is slightly different than what I have in game, but I'll likely wait until 50 to switch. In terms of grail Brutes, it is this or my Ice/stone, but I don't have that build on this PC, and no, I don't use the T9 there either. 😄 PS. No Accolades or Incarnates. Energy Drain is factored in. Without Remorse - Brute (Claws - Energy Aura).mbd
-
Ice/kin, really going all in on underperforming. 😄I have a Claws/ice Scrapper I am working on at 31. I'm still working through the build and seeing how much I like it. It isn't quite there, but I think it will be great for teams.

Bio in offensive mode wins out for offense at least in terms of Pylon times. You just need to make the penalty of using it not bad enough so you can pull it off for general play. This is why it works better in sturdier builds. Rad and Fire are options once you consider AoE. Anything else is basically a damage aura or +recharge. Shield gives a dmg boost as well. Shield Charge is just there for the occasional AoE though. I might be wrong, but I still think the trend is Bio > Rad > others. EDIT: Again, we are talking pure DPS Pylon/Trapdoor times. Resist builds tend to be on the more offensive side. Def based ones will trend to being sturdier so for a genuine min/max build for general content, people prefer Def based armors.

To be fair, street sweeping was more of a thing at one point. It certainly was for AoE based builds. -
A couple of months ago I could put a bid on uncommon salvage for 1k and pick it up within a play session. I can now put in a 7k order, and it sits.

Hibernate and PFF do seem to be a bit redundant.

Ah yes. LLN/regen. The true source of the first Regen nerf. -
O.o I can see skipping on slotting until 22, but 27!
-
It opened up as a Blaster for me as well. For older versions of Mid's, you should just upload the file. You should also update to the latest Mid's as proper exporting functionality is back.

And we paid a sub for that, and we liked it. -
I never said I didn't like it so that's an odd take. And yes, I tell new players it is perfectly fine to have a level 25 common IO build even at 50 since that's what I personally did on Live. To say that is the standard now is absolutely delusional. Again, no one is posting asking for end game SO builds at this point. People might want cheap IO set based builds, but they want those builds as those are the standard now. Here's the thing, if the game is balanced around the idea that SOs are the standard, then support characters don't need to self buff since that standard is so low. Or, the IO set world is the standard and oddly enough no one who wants self buffing to happen can actually show data or builds which show why those builds are missing out compared to other builds due to the lack of self buffing. As previously started, at worst I can make a Cold Defender who is under 7% in any Def stat which would be boosted by their own shields, sans Melee which I don't really care about and is still +30%. The differences between my recent attempts at a Cold/water vs. Dark/dark is incredibly low. I actually need to do more work on the Dark since it has a non-functional amount of end usage vs. recovery so in the end the numbers will likely be even closer, so WTF would a Cold Def need to use their own shields? If SOs are the standard, knock yourself out running teams on old school diff settings and seeing how quickly those teams are filled running level 50 content.
-
There are SGs from Live who would chuckle at this statement. I think we can throw out what this game is balanced against nonsense. When was the last time you saw someone post a desired build for end game content that only used SOs? SOs haven't been the standard in years.
-
This is why you can have more than one build. I personally haven't created a second build so I have one exclusively for level 50 content. This obviously increases the cost you put into a build which is why fewer people do it. I would rather put the currency on another character versus having two builds for the same character.
-
If you share your build, we might be able to fix the Acc issue.
-
This reminded me I had worked on my Cold Defender so I went and played around with it a bit more. In reality, my current lowest Def stat for any Def stat which the shields cover is 30.6% Melee, and I use Hover. Anything else is less than 7% from being soft capped or already soft capped. I'm still not done with the build either. I feel like the people who think support characters need to self buff are ones who don't really plan builds.
-
If you are doing missions as a duo, then I would find using a Tanker as overkill. I can solo on the casual on +3/x8 with my Scrapper, so a Brute or Scrapper will work just fine. An Ice/ice Brute and Fire/thermal Corr or Thermal/fire Defender would blow through content. You do want the melee AT to be Def based as Debuffs will impact a Res based one more. A support character will likely get enough Def via IOs and power picks to make it work.
