As I said, I’d gladly put it to a vote. FYI coalitions don’t allow sharing materials, so not really a solution.
For your good guy/bad guy roleplay, you can make paper hats that say “Hero” and “Villain” and swap between the two when you change characters.
Try, you know, actually reading the thread. Many people would like larger supergroups, this is a solution.
So your arbitrary roleplay needs trumps other people’s social needs? Very nice.
Don’t care, I’m guessing more people would prefer larger SGs than the ability to be in two supergroups, I’d love to see it put to a vote.
You do realize there’s no walls between villains and heroes anymore, right? You can just have them in the same SG, and run all hero or all villain groups when you want to.
I ended up gold side by accident (wanted to go red side) not realizing you cant switch sides until level 20. Annoying. If that restriction can be removed, I think more people would be interested.
Most forum installs have options available to customize the experience, ie change colors, show/hide avatars, etc. It would be cool if those were turned on, if possible.
I did as well, couldnt figure out how to get it to start, so went back to the download thread here on the forums and started to reinstall the launcher and somehow that quickly fixed it.
Better yet, let us all have access to a personal base, and a SG base. Than you can cram all of your mats somewhere, while still having a base to RP in with SGmates or whatever.
You say that like removing the single most unpleasant mission type in gaming from a game that's otherwise a lot of fun could ever be anything but an improvement.
This. I'd be fine with no escort missions, but it seems less dramatic to up the perception on the escorted.
I end up moving constantly on my D3 to optimize cones for TT and NF, to set up PBAOEs, etc, it's one of the things that makes playing that character more fun for me. YMMV.
When you're trying to meet a group to a team or TF, it would help if you could pick via dropdown what instance of the current zone (like Atlas 1, 2 etc) you are in (give it a countdown timer to prevent abuse if needed). Maybe just augment the zone name on the map with a dropdown. It seems silly to have to run to the train to pick another instance (and I'd point out once upon a time you have to go though zone consecutively to get where you were going, glad that was changed as well).
1.) Requires a trip to the Monorail to switch...so a little complicated...
There really should be a dropdown to select instance (like where the name is on the map). I'll suggest this.
If for example you have Dark Blast with two cones, one longer than the other, putting a range in the shorter one will help even them out. And as was pointed out, extending the wider part of the cone allows for a lot more mobs to be targeted.
