Curious you mentioned that, I gotta clean mine up a bit to fix a few bits that changed with the latest pages, and some newer information in the wrap up macros on mine. I do have a popmenu though it's still "CU sponsored" in the announcement macro, so I'll get to working on it and get it updated to fix that. Thank you though, I do appreciate the gesture to help. ❤️

I know, I know it sounds weird but hear me out. I was working on one of my little bases and while I was adjusting the position of one of the columns I had placed, the game threw a log out warning and logged me out without even giving me a moment to stop it from doing so. Almost like the AFK time out thing in the main maps and public spaces. What the heck just happened?

I do so recommend checking their base out sometime, it's brilliant. 🥰

Honestly the entirety of the community on Homecoming is pretty inclusive. We do have some individuals that pop up from time to time to spill their tea and cause a ruckus in general chat but the GM's are pretty quick to knock sense into em. I've seen folk on all the servers, but Everlasting does have a large LGBTQ+ population. Speaking as a member of the community myself. 🙂 I would recommend Penny Palace (A LGBTQ+ club group) and the Pride discord group to help you find a super group that fits your interests in the game. 🥰

Oh good gods, I have so many, SO SO SO SO SO many multiversal characters, not all of them made in COX but yeah, cross overs, mashups, mergers, ect. This game is RIPE for it.

Why not turn it into a monument to all raid leaders that work so tireless to form and lead multiple teams on the server? Not just everlasting but all the servers here? ^^ Doesn't have to even have names on it!

As a base builder that submitted to this, I'd like to make a point of response to this suggestion. For one, most of us aren't on round the clock to hand out numbers to anyone, some of us are, for lack of a better word, more socially awkward and would much rather not interact with large numbers of people just to get votes confirmed. This would be just more time consuming than it's really worth, in my opinion.

I completely understand that. It was exciting to see everyone elses creations and I got a lot of ideas off of some of the bigger builds that won! Congrats to everyone that one, it was well earned!

Or you know, recognize you aren't king of the world and learn to work with others to integrate stories? The egocentric player is probably the worst to play with, in any game. Period. You are playing in a world full of hundreds of different personality types and characters of any stretch of the imagination. You aren't going to get along with every single one of them. But the few that you do manage to befriend and want to play with will probably want to modify their own story to join yours. Being respectful of your fellow players is kind of core to RP, if you can't be respectful, why are you even playing online in the first place? If you can't work well with others, or find a middle ground, review your own concept more critically. It's possible you are in fact the problem. If you find yourself being rejected repeatedly, or lack of interaction entirely, maybe the issue isn't the other players, maybe it's your concept and how its perceived. Anyone that tells you that you "must" play with them or face being stonewalled from accessing any other groups, circles, concepts, and player stories, is absolutely lying to you. There is no god, god-kind, or center figure in RP. Period. You can be possibly from an alternative universe as a deity, but those power scales do not hold ground in COH context. No one, and I do mean no one, has a right to tell you who or how you should play however. These are just respected guide lines I teach for everyone to be able to play on a fair-play basis. Even I can be wrong, and yes I am humble enough to accept that. However, that does not mean that you are going to be accepted if you choose to play a character that is all ego, and no substance. Playing a powerful character can be done in fair-play, I have a number of them that have, by some grace of self reflection, avoided the power-creep aspect of RP consuming their tales and warping the original intent of their creation. The issue at hand is more the fact that the same player has been guilty of these specific issues a number of times, by at least the last three years and has yet to address or do anything to repair the problematic behavior and player choices.

(Rogue/Vigilante) Synopsis: The Scions of Everlasting, and the Tirikan Collective coalition is a group of mystical, mythical, and alien magical type characters that work together to help safeguard and protect Paragon, the Rogue Isles, and humanity as a whole from arcanic influences, world threatening relics, artifacts, tomes of lost and probably best forgotten magical arts and practices, as well as assist with restoring and productively support environmental safety and protection for Earth Prime. There are a number of groups associated with Scions of Everlasting, including Chaos United, Devil May Care, The Branded, Pellean Sanctum, and Pellean Echoes to name just a few. We are new roleplayer friendly, and work with quite a few larger groups on the server to help players seeking a content rich experience, while still being able to participate and join in on long term story lines, and plot events within the Tirikan Collective. Additional details: The Tirikan Collective is something of a newer formed coalition of the tirikan-related groups, bases, and locations throughout Prime Earth as well as Echoes created by the Tirikan with permissions from the Menders of Ouroboros to lessen the impact the Tirikan may have on Prime Earth resources and population spaces. The coalition and players are all LGBTQ+ or LGBTQ+ allies, as well as supportive of helping new players find groups that better suit their interests and needs for their characters on Everlasting. This however does not mean that you must be tirikan, or dragon specific to join, we accept anyone that has interest in our stories, themes, and plots.

This is a good idea, I personally try to keep mine as family friendly as possible. There are moments adults get to talking, but that's usually after most of the younger folks are tucked into their beds. I'm generally careful of inviting younger players into my group, but I do aspire to keep Scions of Everlasting as a safe space for all ages.

I would recommend turning on chatlogs if you hadn't already, just in case something comes up that's questionable for them. My son is 7 and he's deeply interested in playing, but he knows he's restricted from playing COH until he's at least understanding the rules of the household about online conduct and avoiding problematic behavior/chat content. He's a pretty smart kid, so you might end up running into him one of these days with his father and I playing together in a group. ^.^

Oh I agree, this would be a boon for folks that have a lot of alts and like to sort their roster by their own standards. I tend to sort mine by level range from cap to lowest levels but having a tool built in to the character menu to sort would be an absolute chef kiss touch to the game menu options!

The only one I've found chat log parser wise doesn't have an option to pick channels to filter the log files. If anyone ends up making one, please lettme know.

Same, honestly. I broke away from them because of the fact they refused to acknowledge the problematic play style preferences and other matters that I won't share here. I know we've had our share of differences in opinions in the past on the boards here, but I genuinely enjoy the interactions I've had with the Willows and the backstory is absolutely boss.
