  1. Especially this post. More like this thread...
  2. Yeah, that's been reported before... I have to say though, I LOVE "The Itsy Bitsy Widow"...
  3. What if we called it... "The Happening"? It can be as confusing and inexplicable as the movie!
  4. I'll be the vanguard of this rikticulous thread, even though it's contaminated me so much that I'm wailing about these monkey-loving snakes on this mother-loving plain!
  5. Probably one of my favorite Progressive Metal songs of all time...
  6. Regardless, I think there's something messing with the XP/Inf gain and drop rate in AE. (Found another issue that caused this) In addition, I'd like to note that prior to AE going down, I had received dozens of PvP/Purple IOs from AE standard rewards each afternoon farming. Since AE has gone live, I have yet to receive a single one of either. Which is far and beyond what should be expected of reasonable deviation/margin of error. There are a couple of bug reports and a bit of conversation about it in the respective forum. Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal. Perform a series of actual statistical tests to prove the point, and then I'm sure the dev team would look into it. But, as Leandro said, there's no reason to suspect anything amiss, for the reasons he gave. If you wish them to spend their time looking into it further, I think you'll have to provide a better bit of evidence than anecdotal stories. Something like a spreadsheet containing "incidents" containing something like this: Mission Ran XP Earned Influence Earned Recipe Drop(s) Awarded Salvage Drop(s) Awarded AwesomeFarm1 500 500 1 Invention:Accuracy 2 Luck Charms, 3 Ancient Amulets LameFarm1 350 250 0 1 Brass Basically, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
  7. Yes, that was an intentional change.

    Forum Bug

  9. So.... I made another thing. Something that's missing from our current forums that the old forums had... I'm no graphical artist AT ALL, I'm a programmer. So I just setup a basic HTML table and am performing some XML processing on an ASP site to get you all a list, in reverse chronological order, of ALL posts by any developer, mod, GM, or whatever. If the website is up (I can see it, but DNS might take some time to propogate), you can find it here: http://www.coh-h-devtracker.somee.com/ It takes a few seconds to load, because it's sorting through a LOT of data. I haven't yet figured out how to split it into pages. And, as the name says, it's ugly. But, it's a good basis and a starting point for improvements to come!
  10. That's actually exactly what I did.
  11. Yeah, /signed for that. They should've left them like epic archtypes, you can BECOME a hero/villain but you can't START as one. There aren't many non-hardline vigilante examples of VATs and there's - honestly, I can think of /one/ Hero Mastermind and it's from an Alan Moore comic and she's a cop in a city of superheroes, not a superhero herself. Qft, I had a tough time explaining to my six-year-old son how that red lady with the demon horn summoning little tiny fire demons was actually a good guy.
  12. Yeah, I always bind Teleport to my E key, and then click onscreen to pick location. I always see my reticle.
  13. Hey! Mr. Pine! Does this happen to be open source? If so, where could I get the code?
  14. ParagonWiki has made it an official policy that they will NOT allow users to add any information about the game after sunset, no matter what server the changes are on. But, feel free to update the CoH: Homecoming Unofficial Wiki instead with what you find...
  15. Make a support ticket? I'm sure the data's still probably there... somewhere.
  16. So I did a thing: The MOMENT there's an official Wiki, I'll wipe this thing, but I think there needs to be a wiki-type centralized place where people can learn about Homecoming. So far, I've just got pages on Shards and the team themselves. Feel free to add anything you want there, it's your playground, go nuts! I'll just keep adding stuff casually as I see stuff that I think should be in a centralized location and not lost to the forums or time.
  17. Well ideally what we'd want to do is clone Paragon Wiki (with the serial numbers filed off) and start updating from there. I've got no clue if the Paragon Wiki staff would be willing or able to hand over a copy of their database to start a second wiki though. Personally I think the best analogy is forking a code base. Paragon Wiki is the "base" wiki but each set of private servers is going to have a different set of content and thus a different wiki. Sure, you get on that, and I'll happily contribute what I can. Until then, I spent five minutes setting up a basic empty Wiki for anyone to add to... since there's NOTHING ELSE right now, unfortunately.
  18. Let's not forget that the Homecoming servers are simply the largest and most public CoH servers out there right now, but hardly the only ones. It makes even more sense when you consider that, to keep the Paragon Wiki as it is. Not every CoH server out there will run with the same rules as ours -- in fact, that's one of the reasons there are other servers. So again, we'd need our own wiki, and people dedicated to updating it, or barring that, some good guides for the guide section. ^_^ Here you go, go nuts, at least until the Devs/Mods make an official one.
  19. Not the first time I've heard that joke.
  20. Anyone else stoked about some of the changes to pool powers? I'm excited to try out Unrelenting and Placate on my squishy Defender! Should SUBSTANTIALLY increase his solo-ability! For reference, here's the I24 patch notes: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Issue_24
