  1. Just my personal take on it. YMMV: Not sure we need "volumes" unless that would be how expansions like "Going Rogue" would be labeled. Something massive and expansive map-wise, likely adding large chunks of new territory with associated mission. 27/7 seems quite dense. I've been up with insomnia reading all the notes for the last hour and that was with skimming of those notes in the spoiler boxes. They definitely didn't use double spacing when writing this "page". I get why it was done: lots of stuff to celebrate "official" status, wrap up the Piecemeal story, etc. If it weren't for the connections to the other pages forming I-27, I'd have felt this had the weight to be the tentpole for another issue, #28. Maybe its just that I'm just an old dude now, but absorbing all this is going to take some time and effort. I'd have been happy to have it fed to us in 4 pages spaced a week apart, to give opportunity for smoother adaptation. I've no real problem with what's been given, and I think I like it. It's just that it's a Dagwood sandwich, a lot to take in. In summary: "Volume" = major expansion? "Issue" = massive drop starting new theme/arcing story "Page" = meaty, but manageable chunks expanding/exploring the Issue as well as giving the latest bug-fixes It does at the moment feel more like: "Issue" = introduce new theme/arcing story, regardless of size of material added "Page" = material added small or massive. Occasionally advances story.
  2. Well, that's an interesting concept, but would it affect powers as well as character movement? Would energy beams, bullets, etc. bend and have problems with accuracy?
  3. Yes, I'd seen the police drone devs a handful of times over the years. As to human form, I can only vaguely recall one time where devs appeared in a group activity as NPC character, like the Vahz. However, some were also there with their choice of avatar. Ghost Widow, for example, was present.
  4. I actually started by asking for a pair of Desert Eagle pistols, the kind used by Deadpool, I understand, but got the first warning off of that. I'd not yet added "henchmen" or "thugs" to the definition, so it wouldn't have been able to judge based on combined elements of gang culture. I used generic "gun" and "pistol" after that until I hit on the idea of using NERF, to show that I wasn't really into malicious intentions.
  5. There's also the matter that "skunk" has a number of slang connotations, some not considered socially acceptable.
  6. I'm curious now how an A.I. creation's images would distinguish a bespoke tailored suit from any other suit. I mean, in really life I'll tell largely based on the materials and stitching quality, but I'd think those would be hard to render at these sizes. Continuing the (mostly) white suit trend, I heavily modified @sbloyd's description a few panels up, and took a crack (pun intended) at my Egghead homage, the Eggsterminator, a thugs/eggs force fields mastermind. Bing A.I. did some pretty good work I think. Things to note: got a pair of warnings for trying to use words like "guns" and "pistols", however, it was perfectly cool if I used "NERF gun", and even a few of the results came out with nickle-plated guns. Uh-huh...sure its NERF. Go figure. Also, the thing went completely to rubbish when I tried to add in Eggy's goatee. No idea why but that threw every other design element off, so I left it out. Still, pretty pleased with the results. I find the two to the extreme left to be Eggsellent. Last descriptive used : slim man, art station style, with bald oval head with greasepaint-white skin, with round glasses with opaque yolk-colored lenses, wearing an open-collared yolk-colored shirt under a white suit coat, wearing gold chains around the neck, wearing white slacks and yolk-colored wingtip shoes, wearing short yolk-yellow gloves, holding a pair of white NERF guns, stoic dangerous pose, with six random ethnicity thugs wearing street clothes in the background
  7. The first 3 episodes of season 3 have dropped and they continue the much more somber tone and good writing that season 2 ended upon. By the end of the 3rd episode, we finally have an answer as to why Omega is so important, and also a big chunk of how this all ties into the Sequel Trilogy, including I suspect, even the so-called Mando-verse group of stories. You may recall it was strongly rumored that John Favreau and Dave Filoni were given a directive to make the Sequel Trilogy "work", a tall order to be sure. While I think nothing can truly save the Sequel Trilogy, I'm intrigued by the effort to make it at least somewhat palatable. The story pacing is different in this one, taking its time to let things unfold. I'm impressed with little details, such as scratching a number into a wall (vital to the story), then gently brushing away the plaster dust (the little detail, unnecessary, but adding a personal touch). Omega is not nearly the wide-eyed child of season 2's treasure hunting episode, and is quickly sobering to a more potent character, yet not losing all her optimism. The villain of the arc is proving to be one of my favorite Star Wars villain, quiet, but very brainy. Deceivable (for a time) but no one's fool.
  8. You did not miss Toff. She was introduced in Season 2, and live action is doing seasons as well. (Assuming renewal). Toff's VO actress has expressed her hope to see a green light for season 2 in hopes of seeing live action Toff.
  9. From what I have heard the only controversy so far revolves around Sokka's prejudice towards women. The live action has decided to tone that down. I see why some fans are upset, because overcoming that prejudice through conflict and personal growth is part of animated Sokka's character arc.
  10. I truly thought we had a thread for this already in the forum, but the search turned up nothing. Teaser: Trailer 1: Freeing Iroh: Final Trailer: Bonus: Toph's voice actor from the original watches the trailer: Well, they're pronouncing Aang correctly. It's a good start. (Also, the actor playing Sokka...wow. Eerie how like the animation he looks.)
  11. Asked Bing AI to do the impossible: think through a heap of a lot of variables to create Grill N. Chill, my fire/ice blaster. I actually filled up all the text line a few times. Description was constantly changing, but here's the last one: Jim Lee art style, dramatic pose, fire and ice auras, African superhero with short military flattop haircut, black diamond mask, orange spandex shirt with flame icon on chest, sky-blue spandex leggings, gold banded belt with black-edged trim and a row of black circles encircling the belt, black banded wristbands, small black shoulder pads, black pirate boots, black cape with sky-blue to pale-orange blend lining I'm not certain why, but the A.I. immediately focused on a largely black uniform, with strong V and diamond elements, and it never let go of that. (It probably homed in on "black superhero" which to me said ethnicity, but I guess the A.I. thought it meant spandex choices. I had to change to "African-American", and then "African" when text became tight) It only once created shoulder pads, and it apparently has no concept of color blending, despite repeated re-wordings of that request. Only a couple, as a result, came anywhere near what I sought. That said, it's created some very interesting designs, and I may have to investigate to see if I can pull off one or two of the looks.
  12. Went to it and immediately saw the field box "Anti-Description (optional): Things you don't want in the image". I've not even tested it yet and already this is looking promising in a way Bing A.I. does not.
  13. I have the Kindle reader on my smartphone a and use the black background. Comfortable and elegant. I only use it for casual reading though, and occasional material that I must reference often. If I intend to keep a book or share it, I buy the physical copy. But the smartphone Kindle reader has been great for lunchtime.
  14. This. Part of the problem, perhaps all of it, is that the statement cannot be absolute. It may not be the same account, but as we're permitted to hold 3 accounts, it could very easily be the same person just directing you to their 2nd or 3rd account. From there, it's an easy email or in-game exchange to the original account.
  15. That is an incredible look!
  16. Concept-wise, he sounds similar to Junkpile of X-men 2099 comics, though I've not seen that character in 30 years, and what remains online is a lot cleaner in look than I remember.
  17. Decided to turn my attention to the concept of hero statues throughout a city. Thematically, I looked at five sub-concepts: 1. A monument similar to the Soldiers & Sailors monument in Indianapolis. If you're not familiar with it, the S&S monument is to Indy what the Gateway Arch is to St. Louis. 2. Random statues throughout a major city. 3. The concept of a memorial garden for the fallen. 4. What might have been the possibilities if Atlas were memorialized at the bridge he guarded in his final battle. 5. What a hero statue might look like at a lighthouse (Siren's Call) The fight this time was with the Bing AI interpreting "superhero" to always mean "Superman" (or occasionally Spider-Man, Captain America, and Iron Man. Oddly Batman wasn't a problem.) Trying to get that S-in-a-diamond look to go away was a mess, and in the end, I acquiesced to it being in one of the shots.
  18. Of the two shots I selected above, the first is something I'd very much like to see added to the game, perhaps in a revitalized part of the city. The latter shot, the statue looks more like an Achilles than an Atlas, but I find the look quite good.
  19. Acknowledged, though I'm not sure how it can be a reboot, as the computer universe didn't even know there was a crossing until Flynn showed up. I'm fine with it not being a sequel. "Set within the universe", to me at least, would seem a better choice. Which could play into the concept of "set within the universe". Ares could be a story set between the previous two movies, of an Iso (those special programs found in Tron: Legacy) who might have been trying to find a way to retrace Flynn's path and find a way out that didn't involve Flynn's disk. Probably not, but I'd find it interesting. Time to bring out Hans Zimmer. Whomever they find, I hope they keep the musical tone of Wendy Carlos and Daft Punk.
  20. I'm pretty excited for the possibilities this presents. Troy Baker appears to do a fine job as a spiritual heir to the voice of Indy, and whomever is channeling Denholm Elliot as Marcus Brody deserves a raise. Something about the graphics and facial movements feels a little off, as if it's using technology from a few years back, but by and large I'm interested to see the final product. That's saying something as I'm one of those unfortunate souls for whom first person perspective is the gateway to nausea. I'd probably risk it for this one.
  21. And so it begins (a little Boxleitner humor there). TRON:Ares will be a new story set in the TRON universe. So far, they've yet to reveal any cast members from TRON or TRON: Legacy returning. The inclusion of Cameron Monaghan intrigues me. He did good work on the two canon Star Wars games Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor. I'm also happy to see Evan Peters and Gillian Anderson on the roster. Jared Leto as top billing does not intrigue me at all, An alternate information source is suggesting a Christmas 2025 opening.
  22. Wolverine voice actor, as @El D states, is the same voice actor as before. No idea why it sounds so different, unless that was an early effort. I realize there might be age to the actor's voice, it's been nearly 30 years after all, but I'd have thought the voice director would have made more effort. I also realized watching the clip that I've grown used to hearing Steve Blum as the voice of Wolverine. Magneto voice actor, as well as Cyclops voice actor had to be replaced due to death in both cases. Not just kids! I was only a few years out of college when this premiered, and I'd have much preferred eggs and peanut buttered toast while watching If the trailer is anything to go on, this looks great. It will take a bit to get used to the different voices, but I understand 3 decades necessitate the difference. Hopefully, in the future Respeecher and similar tools will change that. I don't think I'm spoiling anything 27 years later by saying with Charles out of the picture (the end back in '96) this might lead to a parallel to the comic version of The Age of Apocalypse, where Magneto leads the X-men and others in a charge against the world takeover by Apocalypse. It's possibly my favorite X-men arc, though if done, I'm sure it will be much less violent than the comics.
  23. You've identified the problem I've been having. I don't know the real words, if there are any, for a variety of costume parts from the game. For example, my retro-future space ranger, Major Ray Gunn, uses what the game calls "fury wings" along the side of his helmet, but this apparently is not a real world term for that part, if it even has one.
  24. I've said it before, but it's worth repeating: the four members of the Korean W.I.S.D.O.M. hero group: Foreshadow Mirror Spirit Rose Star Spark Blade The first two to move them from their relegated status as mere trainers, the latter two because we were promised them, and they've never actually made it to the game.
