That is objectively bad advice. The whole premise of farming is to maximise the resources you are gaining for the time you are putting in. That build will be like molasses in a farm map.

You will need 2 different builds, one for farming fire farms and one for general PvE content, but I also wouldn't want to play a Rad/fire in general PvE as Rad melee is poopoo for anything other than farming Brute FARMER (Radiation Melee - Fiery Aura).mbd

All my khelds are full changeling so it's all academic to me 😂 can fit a lot of attacks into 3.3s of animation time. -

Yeah I did look at it, it;'s just such an obnoxiously long animation. Could easily swap out the crappy proton scatter cone for it tbf. -

You mean incandescent strike? The big jump up in the air two hander one? It's 3.3s animation. It's too long and doesn't hit hard enough to warrant spending that long in an animation for my liking. -
Regeneration already gets hold and knockback protection from Integration, you won't need acrobatics

It doesn't work like this, unless you plan on dying every 120s to reactive the proc. It needs to be in health. Anyway, this is how I would play human only if I was held at gunpoint Reason I would run like this is because damage is king and you can plug the psi hole with barrier and insps. It's is much much harder to add as much damage as easily. I know you said you hate cones, but Cross punch is to be treated as a single target attack that might occasionally hit more if you're lucky. I wouldn't necessarily fish for line up, just fire it off. It is there to provide a bunch of powerful proc effects like extra -res and purple damage proc. It will reliably proc +rech too from FFB and give you a permanent 5%. This is just for you to see the other end of the spectrum when it comes to building a human only PB. Dont waste time chasing full sets for psionic resistance, you are completely gimping your damage by not putting damage procs in your attacks, a dead enemy cannot fight back, Also Impervium Armour 6% is not unique and like a LOTG you can slot 5 of them across a build. Do that instead if you want some psi resist. use the slots saved to get some damage procs in there. Pick up cross punch, because that gives you a small recharge boost and is a great space for armageddon %fire, FotG %-res and FFB % +recharge GLowing Touch isn't going to do much for you, you can drop that tbh. You might also consider tactics, because the added +tohit means you dont need to slot so much accuracy in your attacks and can therefore boost your damage more with procs. Impervious Skin unique is pointless Panacea proc needs to be in health not reform essence swap regenerative tissue for miracle +recovery You should aim for 1 Achilles' Heel proc in your rotation. I would pull slots from Inner Light and potentially photon seekers. You could also consider not slotting any KB-KD in your single target rotation attacks and pick up the teleport pool for combat tp, then if KB does occur you can instantly port to them to continue, just an idea. You can pretty much expect to hold a boss if you slot the WinterIO hold proc and/or the lockdown proc in gravity well, but I wouldn't slot that way because its 2 damage procs you have just missed out on.

And if you really want to lock down bosses there is the option to slot 2 different hold mag increasing IOs into Gravity Well

Grav Emantion - massive cone 100% chance of Mag3 stun Unchain Essence - Massive TAoE 50% chance of Mag3 stun Inky Aspect - PBAoE Toggle 100% chance of Mag2 stun A warshade can lock down a spawn if you really want to build towards it.

I mentioned it briefly in my original response, but the simple answer is it adds more damage per slot used than a damage enhancement would. Especially on a defender where the damage enhancement boosts damage less than it would on a blaster due to damage scalars. regarding mez resist, it is something I personally have never chased. Mez resistance only reduces the length of the mez on you and to gain a meaningful amount of it in a build means you are sacrificing a significant amount of damage procs instead. Break free insps are a better way to achieve breaking out of a mez effect. -

I will say that of all the primaries to pick from, you picked the least favourable choice for soloing. But then if you set it to 0x3 or +1x2 it will work. -
As far as I'm concerned, combat jumping is mandatory on every character

Easy Fix is change the Dwarf Mire to an Engulfing Darkness type purple clone. It is currently a fast recharging AOE Proc nuke that happens to also boost your damage and to-hit, so as long as the stats on the power allow for similar AOE output then it doesn't really matter if this gets changed (assuming Sunless Mire gets its stats changed to now accommodate the loss of dwarf mire)

I mean...its at 92.5% damage slotted? I wouldn't personally want to drop Call Hawk, it does huge damage with all those procs in it. -

Dont need Achilles in them, its in Ravens 🙂 Issue with spore cloud is it generates a huge amount of aggro. Sure, they have some debuff on them, but everything now wants to kill you. I can see the argument for Entangling Aura, could drop spores for it tbf. Slot 5 Unbreaks and a +2mag proc. Find the slot from somewhere else. -

Here is a build for you along with some explanations about why I have picked and slotted in the way I have. Mastermind (Beast Mastery - Nature Affinity).mbd Firstly, I selected sorcery because I saw you mentioned that elsewhere. I didn't have the power picks or slots available to truly invest into this pool fully, but I did manage to grab 2 slots into Spirit Ward with x3 Heal/End HamiO's which gives you an extra absorb toggle you can throw onto your Dire Wolf to keep him healthy. I have picked up a bunch of personal attacks which you can use to help your pack out. Please note the slotting here is leaning fully into damage procs which is the correct way to slot MM attacks for beast as it significantly boosts the damage output (vs just 5 or 6 slotting a set) Call Hawk, Energy Torrent and Explosive Blast all have Force feedback +Rech procs which you will have really strong uptime on and therefore you should be able to maintain perma uptime on your really important buffs (which your survival will depend on) Wild Bastion and Overgrowth. I have put the Panacea +HP/+End proc into Lifegiving spores, this then gives everyone who stands in the patch (including you and your pets) a chance to receive the proc which is a much better use than just slotting it into health where only you get to receive the benefit. You must slot all the pet uniques, which this build does. Dire Wolf has a damage proc from the slow category because a lot of his powers do slow and Overwhelming Force KD proc in your T1 pets is fairly common practice because then you have 3 pets giving you regular KD soft control. Strongly recommend getting your 4 passive +MaxHP and +MaxEnd accolades too, the extra tankiness and sustain is really important. Any questions please fire away 🙂 -

Below are two builds which you are free too look over, I will outline my choices and why below. Both builds are with Vigor (healing/accuracy/endurance redux) in the alpha slot but I haven't left this active in Mids because it plays havoc with the accuracy numbers of powers, just know once you have it slotted your powers will be 95% chance to hit. Soul Mastery Build Defender (Empathy - Rad Blast - Power Boost).mbd Gives you access to Power Boost. This is for using before Fortitude if you want to really supercharge someone's defense (and tohit) -> w/o PB 23.79% def (18.75% tohit) and w/ PB active you can achieve 38.54% def (37.19% tohit) It also comes with Soul Drain + a %Build Up proc, which is great to jump into a mob and fire off before going nuclear with Atomic Blast. Your DPS comes from loading your blasts with damage procs. Proton Volley is your strongest attack as it can take 5 damage procs and will hit like a truck. Cosmic Burst is the same, but it does have a noticeably longer animation time. X-Ray Beam is cheap and cheerful, can be woven in between each volley and burst to keep the attacks flowing. AoE is handled with Irradiate and Neutron Bomb spam after opening with Soul Drain + Atomic Blast. There is a Winter KD proc in atomic blast which will be great soft control and 2x -res procs which will ensure your 1-2 punch of Neutron bomb and Irradiate hit much much harder. Hasten is perma. Fire Mastery BuildDefender (Empathy - Rad Blast - DPS).mbd This is your DPS option if you want to do more damage instead of being able to super charge your fortitude buffs (this is the route I would personally take) You now get access to 2 crazy proc-bomb attacks in Char and Fire Sword Soul Drain is replaced with Aim still with a build up proc Cosmic Burst is replaced with Char, which gives you access to the purple hold proc and you gain GFS which then gives you access to the purple melee proc X-ray beam loses its damage procs to keep the global recharge and it now recharges faster than it casts, so if you have nothing else to do and have powers on CD, you can literally spam this as much as you wish. *Both builds have Burnout, which can be really useful in AV fights allowing you to use Adrenaline boost on 2 high damage teammates *The 4 passive accolades are REALLY important, please collect them if you haven't already done so -
That is a fair and frankly more reasonable way to look at it. Everything you could want is almost handed to you vs live. Like now, if you want a PVP, you just play the game. They drop and you can convert very easily. Back on live they were almost impossible for the common player to get their hands on. Also, I seem to recall converters only being available from hero merits back when they first came out? Am I wrong with that? I recall suddenly doing alignments on loads of toons just to get my HMerit to get converters. I also did a lot of ticket farming and rolling lvl 30-34 bronze rolls to try snag steadfast uniques. Its just all stuff that is really unnecessary today because it's all so much easier. I am looking at this through the rose tinted spectacles of Winter Pack IO sales, so if that wasn't a thing, I certainly would have had to do a LOT more market work than I did back 3-4 years ago.

Utterly stupid take. A 5x set of Hecatomb back on live used to cost 600M, does it now cost 600M? Steadfast 3% unique used to cost 60M, does it now cost 600M? Does it cost you 2-3B to get a Gladiator Unique?
