I find it almost impossible to control airborne movement (excluding flight) if i dont have CJ. Its just pure guesswork at that stage

If you have a keyboard with a numpad, you can also just bind everything to the numpad instead of having clickable macros. I only have the 1 MM which is a necro/dark. Necro isnt the best DPS since the T3 Lich is more a control vs a damage pet, but it is a very safe inevitable steamroll combo. Its also pretty darn cool from a thematic sense as you can live out the full Mannimarco fantasy of an army of darkness. This is my build

Ah well this is where combat jumping comes in. Its the fastest way to move around between mobs. Its quite easy to control if you are using a mouse to look around (i am aware some people move around using q/e, so if this is you i can see why SS is more cumbersome) This is why i tend to ignore stealth, irrespective of the radius, because i will pretty much always have SS so can always be invisible with stealthIO in sprint. yeah i know, was more attempting to say that if you are taking super speed for the free stealth on a travel you would be taking hasten (and vice versa, taking hasten then might as well grab SS). I think i miss-worded that a bit. Anyway, its different strokes etc etc. i think this is also just a flavour thing. I always taken hasten as it is such a massive power boost it is pretty gimpy to not take it. Especially if you are attempting to leverage procs. (my build is just crammed full and it wouldnt work very well without hasten. Yours not so much as you barely have any, although having said that, you would still massively benefit from it) well, you currently have 3 pools taken. So i guess the question is how are you playing this? If you are wading in, you might want tough/weave to help you live more. If you arent, best bet is to get hover which is far superior for combat that fly is. Other options are going deeper into a current pool or pivoting to something else. Have you tried sorcery? you would get another resistance steroid to use with meltdown. Or you can flesh out your epic pool. Options are there, it depends on how you play/want to play

I see no benefit of stealth over CJ when you achieve the same functionality by slotting a stealth IO in sprint. Basically drop Stealth and take CJ instead and that also frees up a slot which you dont need the end redux since CJ is virtually free for endurance costs. Also why no hasten? If you take that, you get access to Super speed which combined with stealthIO makes you invisible. for reference, this is the direction i took my rad/rad. Would it be possible for Dull Pain on a tank regen port to remove the HP cap for tanks whilst it is active? That would help beef them up a bit and boost the regen numbers too

We do this in our group on TB, usually before/after iTrials. But the method is to just right click and press G (i think?) and you can just spam super fast.

I guess if you are heading after challenging hardcore content, the sentinel isn't necessarily the best choice. When I played my sents it was mostly for fun, no SRS BSNS here, so I don't mind too much that the D3 isn't the best option out there. Just feels fun because of all the procs dark blast gets access to.

I have a dark*3 sent and its fun as hell, but you seriously need to engage brain to play it. I decided to build it like a buzzsaw and ignore survival beyond basic slotting of the resist shields and getting basic defense from the powers already there. I ended up with 20-22% def to all and that is it. what my build does have though is plenty of PBAoEs and ST attacks with procs out of the wazoo. I guess its kill or be killed, which isn't an intelligent way to play sents, but is is a way to play sents. You realllly have to lean on the Nuke -ToHit debuff and aim to kill everything that is a serious threat within that debuff window. Nuke+PBAoE from Dark (Engulfing darkness?) and Dark Oblit is enough for the little baddies and can mostly sustain through the bosses. The only time i really felt on the edge was a BP mission in one of hte lvl 50 arcs in PI. Albeit was running it at +2x8 i think, so probably a bit ambitious anyway.

Panacea is best slotted in Health along with Miracle and Numina procs. I haven't ever tested Stygian with 0 bodies and a panacea proc, but I do not think it would work that way as it needs bodies to work. Have you got plans for putting actual sets in all the other powers? You will only get so far if you have common IOs in a human only build. Most of your damage on single targets will be coming from your fluffy summons.

It is not a good idea to try to run human only on basic common IOs. Tri-form works better on a budget. Also a basic IO build won't have the tools needed to take an AV down. My suggestion is swap to triform or throw some proper inf at the human only approach. Plenty of those in the search if you need them for inspiration.

I get that, I still have 400-500 WIOs in a base from last years purchase. I would only purchase purely to flip for easy profit or open all up and take the long route of catalyse and sell. I have yet to decide what I am going to do.

So is it a worthwhile investment still in your opinion? I am considering burning my total net of 40B into them just for lolz (i don't actively play so it doesn't matter if I dont get crazy returns, just breaking even is the minimum requirement really).

Bio is pretty hardcore to kill on tanks. Unless it is up against psionics, which might prove an issue as i dont think a normal build will get softcap, i cannot recall. But you can still always rely on the absorb shield, which is pretty chonky on a tank with the extra HP to work from.

well that cuts into the margin somewhat. was hoping i could just do some background stuff to get to 50B and then look to double that over the next year with sales of winter packs back at normal prices. Wont be able to get near that though now 😞

One of my early memories of playing CoH (i am 29 currently, so this must have been around the age of 13 ish) was when my dad heard of the hype around Fire/Ice tanks and his was in hollows and just had picked up burn. He just showed me as he mowed down about 4 or 5 entire mobs that he aggroed from over on the first hill. It was brutal. I have no other memory of Fire tanks from back then, but I can certainly imagine what a lvl 50 Fire/Ice tank could do with burn 6 slotted for damage on perma hasten.
