  1. This is how I would do it. Considering you are damage capped with Fulcrum shift, damage slotting is superfluous. Accuracy is taken care of with 70% accuracy slotting and Vigor Core. Which also boosts your healing and endurance reduction which I have not slotted for. Relying purely on Transfusion and Transference for endurance management. You could take Ageless if you wanted, but also could get on with Barrier to shore up the defenses. YMMV. Controller (Fire Control - Kinetics).mbd
  2. Yes and no. Old meta has always been chasing defense. There are shifts towards ignoring that and just maximising damage. I for one, would welcome all debuffs available, as I am a purveyor of maximum damage builds.
  3. I would run something like this. You have some ST options with Arcane Bolt/Stone Prison/Fossilise/Seismic Smash 45% S/L defense Plenty of +rech procs (4 to be exact) to keep pumping out AOE spells. Vigor Core takes care of all your accuracy and endurance reduction (I would probably still go ageless core though) Can lean on Animate Stone to tank for you with the resistance procs and steamy mist. 95% Slow resist, so nothing is going to stop your recharge ramping. Proc bombs absolutely everywhere 🙂 opener is Stalagmites and Fissure combo to stun everything. Stone cages is a must to counter the Knockback of Tornado and LS (didnt slot KB>KD as its unnecessary if you hit stone cages first) Controller (Earth Control - Storm Summoning).mbd
  4. That is true, but should have an addendum that stipulates that some ways objectively lead to more damage. We all know more damage = more better.
  5. Without intending to sound harsh, I don't believe anybody does. There is already so much noise and visuals going on a changeling isn't significantly adding to it, but that's just my opinion. This also is up against what is terrible game breaking levels of woeful performance in human or triform (which is slightly better). So even if the visual and audible spaghetti was annoying, its an easy price to pay to not be dead weight.
  6. Did Sunstorm urinate in your cereals or something?
  7. So you do what? Kick someone from your team if they were using changeling binds/macros?
  8. The only epic without a single target melee is Mu which gets PBAoE Thunderstrike instead. Havoc punch from elec is the strongest but Smite and Mind Probe from Dark and Psi respectively are also both strong candidates. They have long recharges so like being proc bombed with high global recharge builds.
  9. The strongest attacks available to sentinels are the melee punches in the epics 🤷‍♂️
  10. Consume gives + Max HP So I wouldn't skip
  11. I think the idea was that the build was meant to be something that maximises the value and the power output, so a cheap (relatively) levelling build XD
  12. Looks good to me. My only observation is Havoc and Tesla cage have low accuracy to +3 and +4s but will be fine vs +2s unless you get outside team buff help.
  13. swap ragnarok into firecages. Its a damage power and doesnt need immobilise enhancement. It recharges so quick you can stack it indefinitely.
  14. There's a certain popular thread that has some really questionable builds, especially for sentinel.
  15. I just tested in game, my voltaic had 95% chance to hit on a L54, when I unslotted the dam/acc/rech +5 it went down to 89%. I have 30% global accuracy. So it does seem to take your global accuracy into account. So slot accordingly
  16. Oh and I like Voltaic sent, not sure how you would fit it in. Maybe drop manoeuvres? Since you are basically softcapped without it, just +5 boost all the shield walls and slot in Soulbound Dam and Rech/Acc +5 and the %BU
  17. I didn't bother with opportunity strikes on my elec/elec sent. Just feels redundant, you only need it for bosses and its always up without the proc so I guess it felt superfluous. End drain could sacrifice slots. I put just a single End/Rech HO in my end drain on the elec sent. But then I also can only rely on resists and no defense really, so I needed the heal. Play the build as you have it and can always sacrifice end drain slots if you need the heal more than the endurance (energise makes endurance problems go away anyway from the reduction) When building sents, I tend towards maximising the damage first and then cramming in whatever survival I can afford with the leftover slots. I try to leverage what is in the sets to survive for example the huge -tohit in Blackstar, or the crazy stun in Psychic wail. In this instance you will be leveraging the -endurance to limit attacks coming in. For example, you could swap apoc into zapping bolt, put sentinels ward into charged bolts and then 5 slot ragnarok into ball lightning which would give you a knock down proc for mitigation. You could also slot the KD proc from superior avalanche into short circuit and potentially sacrifice 5% recharge in Thunderous blast to frankenslot and gain more damage procs and even use the global damage set Dam/KD in it. So maybe something like this? Different ways to skin a cat, excuse the saying. You could also do similar slotting into ball lightning instead of the ragnarok. But I like the damage in the nuke.
  18. Looks fine to me, I think I would change some very minor things, but its only because of my personal build style. I would prefer a kismet proc in there somewhere along with a full heal set into energise. Not sure what you would have to sacrifice to achieve that, I dont tend to 4 slot shield walls, so I would probably have done that. Great build though 🙏
  19. I came up with this the other day. Runs great chain for ST damage of Beam>Gaze>Gloom>(Havoc Punch/Torrent) Sentinel (Dark Blast - Super Reflexes).mbd
  20. I have 3 sents at 50 currently Elec/Elec/Elec, Dark/Dark/Dark and Psi/SR/Psi Elec is a sturdy build with great damage potential from Shocked mechanic. Dark is fun because it looks cool. PBAoE powerhouse with loads of -tohit. The only thing i dislike is the regen/recov power is poopy compared to Dark Regen that the other DA variants get. Psi/SR is easy to play because of the 45% defense to everything and a lot of scaling resistance and a massive absorb click. I tested the other day and when around 20% hp i was resist capped and had like 1000 absorb. I currently playing up a Water/Bio, Rad/Rad, Fire/Fire and BR/Stone. My builds attached, haven't yet finalised my water/bio but the rest are there. Sentinel (Electrical Blast - Electric Armor)2.mbd Sentinel (Dark Blast - Dark Armor).mbd Sentinel (Beam Rifle - Stone Armor).mbd Sentinel (Fire Blast - Fiery Aura) 2.mbd Sentinel (Radiation Blast - Radiation Armor).mbd Sentinel (Psychic Blast - Super Reflexes) 2.mbd
  21. I realise I didn't slot any accuracy into creepers, so I would suggest swapping the rag dam +5 with the dam/rech/acc +5 in roots.
  22. Always lead with Seeds. Then Creepers if you haven't already spawned them. Then its up to you to AoE everything till they fall over 🙂
  23. I had already thought "I am never going to use that set" when it was introduced, well I shall stick to my gut reactions then 😛
  24. Very fair point then XD how you getting on with the confuse proc in roots? Was thinking it could go in the creepers slotting in place of the boosted Rag: Damage. Would lose some damage obvs, but gain the confuse proc that will stack nicely with seeds.
